** CUBA. Correxion: first frequency in this report 13464 was typo;
should have read 13564, fixed:
13564, 13632, 13768, 13836 approx., Feb 12 at 1509, extremely
distorted spurblobs out of 13700-AM at ~68 kHz intervals, as always at
this time, destroying `Sonido Cubano` music show. 15140 fundamental is
much less distorted. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 6100, Feb 18 at 0642, RHC English is OFF this frequency but
remains on 6060, 6000, 5040 VG and maybe JBA 9700. Something`s always
wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 13276-trace, 13345-trace, 13425, 13489, 13561, 13629; 13771,
13842, 13911, 13983, 14057-trace, 14125-trace, Feb 18 from 1456,
extremely distorted spurblobs out of 13700-AM transmitter. Not in the
order tuned and peaks may have shifted slightly over the few minutes.
They are very amorphous, the extreme ones only traceable by their F#
tones; even the strongest, closest ones cannot be pinned down to the
kHz, but intervals for starters are roughly 71 kHz. The two outer
fringers do work out nicely to about 6 x 70.66 to 70.83 kHz.
Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 6180, Feb 19 at 0241, S9/+10 open carrier/dead air on CRI
relay and no ZY audible under, nor any mod at all from relay unlike
last time. 5910, Feb 19 at 0303, exactly same S9+10 dead air from successor CRI
relay frequency. No sig detectable on x2 = 11820, but not surprising
considering RHC fundamentals 11670 & 11850 achieve no more than JBA
carriers. However at 0433, 5910 now good but somewhat undermodulated
during Yue song. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 4747.5 & 4782.5 kHz approx., Feb 19 at 0248, matching JBA
extremely distorted music spurblobs, minus/plus ~17.5 kHz out of //
4765 Radio Progreso. Both QRMing CODAR, more of that on the lower
side. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** KURDISTAN [non]. 11530, Feb 18 at 1530, weak signal presumed Dengê
Welat via FRANCE, and even weaker on 11540 presumed the Turkish jammer
which DW has for the moment escaped. Last time I checked, they were
both on 11540, nothing on 11530 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SAO TOME. 9550, Feb 18 at 0636, VOA news magazine in English is VG
S8-S9, // weaker 6080+ and both listed same site at 06-07. Strange I
had not noticed 9550 before, sked for entire B20 season, 100 kW at 124
degrees, while 6080 is 100 kW at azimuth 0. Apparently in HFCC that
means due north rather than non-direxional, altho the ND term is not
used there, while it is in full Aoki/NDXC for some other entries.
