tentat. odd fq R Voz Missionaria Brazil.9663.678 at 08.30 UT S=6 signal noted on the local pensioners breakfast
table
Nothing on 6134v Portuguese language px, nor 9630 Brazil at this hour.

Missionária, had it on 5939.806 instead of 5939.506; which I rechecked
after seeing wb`s report of 5939.517 the next day at 2253; fixed:

NDB in Enid, EI is JBA, while OIN Oberlin KS is JJBBA underneath
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SAUDI ARABIA. 17895, Aug 13 at 1431, JBA carrier; and 17615+ JBA
modulation, no doubt SBC; the latter later at 1502 measured on
17615.067 with Qur`an. Slight improvement in conditions on usually
deadband; but no 17705. Aoki shows 17895 & 17705 both until 1457,
17615 until 1557. 17895 not measured but close, unlike 17615+. No 17775 KVOH yet; at 1432 the only other trace a JBA on 17690 where
VOA Tibetan is scheduled this hour only via Lampertheim, so probably
hearing CNR1 jammer instead, spoiling the Sa`udis` claim to OSOB

** CUBA [and non]. 5990, 6000, 9535, 9640, 11790, 11800, 11810, 11980,
13650, 15230, 15730, Aug 12 at 2354, all these RHC or CRI relay
frequencies are missing, and not all from same transmitter site. Still
on are: 11950 with Mesa Redonda diversion; 11760 overmodulated and
distorted mainstream music; 11670 S9+20 suptorted but no spurs; 13740
S9+10/20. Also a JBA carrier on 13650 presumably Japan. Something`s
always wrong at RadioCuba/RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 4765, Aug 13 at 0054, R. Progreso back in whack with music
modulation in AM mode rather than noise blob; vs some CODAR swishes,
checked at Rochester SDR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2046 monitoring: confirmed Wed Aug 12 from
2100:28 on WBCQ 7490, JBA here but VG S9/+10 at Rochester NY SDR. Also confirmed UT Thu Aug 13 at 0100 on WRMI 7780, good S6-S7 at
Rochester. Next WOR 2047 should be ready early UT Fri Aug 14 for first airing at
2200 on WRMI 9955 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 9955, UT Thu Aug 13 at 0001, WRMI with Radio Emma Toc
starting their first request show, with some pulse jamming, too soon
after the Radio Libertad hour; also heard R.E.T. Tue Aug 11 closing by
2300 on 9955 --- but that`s scheduled as one hour from 2200, while
Thursday it`s 0000-0030 only. Only other time is UT Mon 0100-0200 on
9455 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 7505, Aug 12 at 2341, S9+20 open carrier, still at 2410 and
2427 chex, no doubt WRNO about to make a comeback after about a month
AWOL. Maybe to resume regular schedule of 0100-0400? That was direct
but after 0100 Aug 13 I`m getting no signal at Rochester (Glenn
