PHILIPPINES/THAILAND New VOA Rohingya Language Program checked on
August 2nd on remote SDR unit in New Delhi India:9310even kHz carrier from IBB BBG US relay in northeastern Thailand already
on air at 11.27 UT. At 11.29:15 UT program start with VoA relay site ID and followed
by "Yankee Doodle" melody til 11.30 UT, S=9+35dB or -47dBm proper signal
in northern India, next to Burmese - Bangladesh-Muslim border area. At 11.30-11.33 UT nothing heard on 3rd channel of 9980 kHz / Udorn Thani. Rohingya/English 11570even kHz channel on 25 meterband
from IBB BBG US relay site on the Philippines at Tinang location.
S=9+5dB or -77dBm fluttery signal also at Delhi India remote post. At 11.38 UT check UT heard the VoA program came late on channel
of 9980 kHz / Udorn Thani Thailand relay broadcast center outlet.
S=9+20dB or -55dBm, but channel suffered by some annoying BUZZ
audio tone of UTE nearby ? - at least heard in India remote SDR,
some 120, 240, and 410 Hertz apart distance BUZZ strings visible
on upper sideband. 73 wb

Atlantic 2000 International will be on air on 6070 kHz via Rohrbach,
Germany, Saturday 10 of August 0800-0900 and and Sunday 11 of August
1900-2000 UTC.
"We will be on the air on August 10th and 11th : Radio Andorra was a legendary radio station, transmitting on mediumwave and
shortwave from 1939 to 1981, from the Principality of Andorra, a small
country between France and Spain.
The station was officially launch the 7th of August 1939. To celebrate the 80 years of this launch, Atlantic 2000 will transmit a
special tribute programme on Saturday, August 10th, from 08:00 to 09:00 UTC
on 6070 kHz and online.
From 09:00 to 11:00 UTC, online only, we will repeat the tribute to Radio
Andorra that we transmitted in 2009, for the 70th anniversary of Radio
Andorra.
Atlantic 2000 will be on the air again on Sunday 11th of August from 19:00
to 20:00 UTC with music and dedications, on 6070 kHz and online.
