KCUP 1230 Toledo, Oregon DX Test Report  View Printable Version
Monday, April 12 2021

HCDX
First weekend off in eight weeks. Finally found time to dig through all the reports and compile a list of those who successfully received the test. Joe Miller will be working on electronic QSL’s which will be e-mailed in the coming weeks. Please be patient.

Also authored the attached report for the station owner, Steve Rubin.

We are very grateful for Mr. Rubin for airing the test.

Also all credit and thanks due to our volunteers on the Courtesy Program Committee for the International Radio Club of American & National Radio Club. They are:

kj8o.ham@gmail.com <mailto:kj8o.ham@gmail.com> Joseph Miller, KJ8O
walkerbroadcasting@gmail.com <mailto:walkerbroadcasting@gmail.com> Paul Walker
w4lvhsc@gmail.com <mailto:w4lvhsc@gmail.com> Loyd Van Horn, W4LVH
gsantulli@hotmail.com <mailto:gsantulli@hotmail.com> George Santulli

Any mistakes in the report are mine. Apologies for the delay. Congratulations to all who received the test. There were several over 2,000 miles distant, and a new NRC Graveyard Record claim by Odd-Jorgen Sagdahl in Norway. It is at a distance of 4,524 miles.

Tim Hall will make the official determination. But it’s safe to say that a new record was set during this test.

CRI Vs AIR  View Printable Version
Sunday, April 11 2021

HCDX
It would appear like CRI is intentionally jamming AIR's 2345 to 0115UTC
broadcast in Chinese on 13710. I very clearly heard indian like music with
something under it when AIR would pause and have brief gaps between music.
Heard some chinese language message then AIR went off just a smidge after
0114UTC
