UNIDENTIFIED. 1340.6 approx., Sept 23 at 0630, het to the graveyard
pileup. Which of the hundreds of stations could be so far

UNIDENTIFIED. 4763-CW, Sept 23 at 0140, as I tune to R. Progreso,
Cuba, 4765 via Bonaire SDR, I notice CW QRM on the minus side.
Consists mostly of numbers = 5-digit dits/dahs, and sound repetitive
tho I do not try to copy exact message. Starts with 333 rather than
VVV, and ends with letter T; repeating at odd but frequent intervals.

** ANTARCTICA [non]. Any RNASG? Did not get around to checking for
LRA36 this Wednesday Sept 22 until 1608 UT: NO signal on
15475.98-RCUSB into Brasil SDR. Has it come and gone already; did
anyone hear it or try to earlier? Yes: Sam Sánchez, Oregon replies on
WOR iog:

``Subject: Re: [WOR] Antarctica today? --- I caught them today via
Brazil SDR around 1550 UTC, off at the top of the hour-ish. Nothing
via Iceland. Sorry for the inexact times - I was multi-tasking. ;-)``

Then I tuned down to 15475.00-USB to detect a reduced carrier if any,
none, but at 1609 Sept 22 there is very brief 2-way in Spanish
INTRUDING on that exact frequency. Will leave it there for a while.
Another longer contact at 1617, but colloquial and can`t understand.

S8-S9; 2405 YL ID as Mix Radio, International. 6940-6945 area is
normally avoided due to ute bonker circa 6942 but none of that now.

SDRs, this is the only useful frequency for token English, but it`s
distorted like on Monday, not Tuesday. It`s more tolerable in AM mode
than in SSB. 11670 is JBA and no better into Kuwait or S Africa; while
17855 and 15520 are inaudible at all locations, likely off the air
rather than MUFed out. First news about the La Palma volcano; 2208
feature interview with a woman from Colombia who studied film scoring

** TURKEY. 9830, Sept 22 at 2210, VOT English already with 2-minute
filler of multilingual IDs, 2222 `Feeling Supreme` seems to be program
name; then a commentary another announcer is having trouble reading in
English. But signal is super into UTwente: S9+55! by the time it gets
into Maryland, only S9/+10 but still plenty, no QRM audible (Glenn

Confirmed here, Wed Sept 22 at 1045 the 1030 on WRMI 5850, VG direct
as I happen to awaken -- and I belatedly notice that in the mid-break,
I mess up my own address, PO Box number as ``6184`` instead of 1684!!
Am I becoming lysdexic? Am I losing it? This bodes ill for continuing
to broadcast a program full of numbers. I hope no one really try to
reach me at that misbox! But no one else has noticed?

Also confirmed Wed Sept 22 direct at 2100 on WRMI 7780, JBA VP S5-S7;
21 seconds later on WBCQ 7489.9v, also S5-S7 but by 2128 the latter
has improved to S8/S9+5. Next, and last:

emission of Kashmir Civitas clandestine, S9/+10 into UTwente. In
urgent Urdu, undercurrent strumming. Several mentions of Jammu &
Kashmir. Abrupt English verbiage inserted, 1509 ``we are dedicated to
accept --- justice``; 1515 ``according to charter of the United
Nations --- occupying force``. 1516 chanting alternating with cries of
``Azam`` = freedom. 1529 ending with disrupted ROMANIA IS once and off

modulation unlike yesterday; overall, it`s #3, weaker than 15520 for

Farías opening a ``new`` ATTW program, dated Wed Sept 8! Of course it
seems new to you when recording, but not when played back 13 days

** CANADA. 15034-USB, Sept 20 at 1509, CHR Trenton Military is gone
again (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey, Sept 20 at 2323-2327, finds only one
VP/JBA signal in each out-of-band area: 13130 JBA Chinese with heavy
flutter; 14980 and 16100 JBA. All fit as jammers of SOH in Aoki. But
none audible in the 10-11 area (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [and non]. 6165, Sept 20 at 0300, RHC is absent, leaving
6159.949 WBCQ with Area 51 JL and then WOR, in the clear! Splashless.
RHC not on alt. 6145 either. However by 0352 RHC back on 6165 doing
its usual damage. Meanwhile, VOT English 0300 broadcast was audible on

** CUBA. 15230, Sept 20 at 2330, RHC Spanish S8 but suptorted; 15730
in Portuguese is S6-S7 somewhat distorted but not suppressed.

** EAST TURKISTAN. 15245, Sept 20 at 1508, S7-S9 W&M talk with heavy
flutter. Both V of Korea and CRI are scheduled this hour in English,
but accents seem Americanish rather than stilted, so I assume CRI,
which is more day-path than from Korea North; via Urumqi in the land
of imperialist ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems,

BTW, would you believe that on 15240, Aoki is still listing R.
Munansi, the clandestine for Uganda via WWRB? It`s been gone for more

** ETHIOPIA [and non]. 7110, Sept 21 at 0356, Horn-of-Africa music,
0359 announcement, IS? repeating a few times; 0400 three bells and
continuous talk, presumably news on the hour. This first appeared Sept
6 per IAEU Intruder Watch, and then a lengthy discussion of what it
could be - Somalia? Eritrea? Ethiopia. Some recognized it as R.
Ethiopia. In Europe they were mostly reporting it after 1800. Ron
Howard has had it in California by longpath circa 1500. I figured it
might sign on at 0300, but nothing yet. Then saw someone reported it
starting at 0400, but as above, already on before then today. WRTH
2021 shows NO SW frequencies for EBC/R. Ethiopia, the main government
station, tho there are for various regionals on the 6 MHz band. I`m
getting it first via Maryland remote at S5-S6, and then UTwente
S9/+10. Intermittent LSB QRhaM in the exclusive ``40m`` hamband
worldwide. From 0412 a Slavic ham overrides it on same frequency

** NORTH AMERICA. 11840, Sun Sept 19 at 2046 UT, anti-Christ pirate
Station YHWH, good S9/+10 into Alberta SDR, as Josiah Elias preaches
about coveting. Tnx to tips on the WOR iog from Rick Barton, AZ; and
employing various different SDRs, Eric Fetters-Walp, WA, and Walt
Salmaniw, BC.

BTW, altho no one seems to mention it now, his identity is a matter of
public record from the FCC bust notice of December 31, 2014, about
Martin K. Elliott, then in InyoKern CA, per:

Monday: 11940 back on air to SAm, good strength, but ailing with
modulation distorted and breaking up! Second only to 17855 VG to NAm.
15520 to ME is unusually JBA, allowing poor 11670 for Af to rate as
better rather than worst. All via Maryland SDR, which gets them all
better than I in deep North America. Recheck direct at 2355, 17855 has
faded to a JBA carrier, 15520 & 11670 are off, leaving us nothing but
the very distorted 11940 at S2-S5. Something`s always nonsensical at
Noblejas (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 6165, Sept 20 at 0310, VOT English to S Asia, normally
blocked by RHC English, but that`s absent and not on 6145 either. Weak
S7-S8 but slightly better by 0330; and by 0352 recheck recovered by
RHC resumed 6165. VOT also INTRUDING on // 7275 to NAm (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U K [non]. 11825, Sept 20at 2333, something in English, poor S0-S2.
Listed this hour only BBC via Tinang, PHILIPPINES for Indonesia.
That`s nice but I daresay there are more English speaking listeners

September 19 at 2019 the 2000 on IRRS SW via Italia AM, 918 kHz, S9+35
into nearby Noale SDR.

Also confirmed Sun Sept 19 at 2230 on WRMIs: 9955 S9+10; 5950 S9+20
into Georgia SDR. 2243 check direct, 9955 S9+10/20 with no jamming
audible; 5950 S8-S9 and noisy.

Also confirmed UT Mon Sept 20 at 0030 on WRMIs direct: 7730, 9395,
9455 all very good.

Also confirmed UT Mon Sept 20 at 0130 on WRN webcast to N America.

Also confirmed UT Mon Sept 20 from 0302:42 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6160
minus 51 Hz per SAM at Maryland SDR = 6159.949, S9. JL had run a bit
over. FREE of QubaRM as 6165 is OFF - and not on 6145 either. 6165
does bear weak S7-S8 V of Turkey, English to S Asia, // 7275 NAm. No
problem at first but 0329 recheck, WOR/WBCQ/A51 has faded *way down to
JBA, and now even TRT provides some splash as it has faded up a bit.

OFF. Have not checked every night, but believe gone since Hurricane
