** TURKEY. 9830, June 17 at 2210, V of Tuerkiye is S9+35/45 into
UTwente, carrier offset +2 or 3 Hz, marred only by lite hum, but the
main barriers to comprehension are the accents or indistinct
enunciation by the announcers. Granted, they speak English a lot
better than I speak Tuerkish; but. Something`s always awry at Ankara.
At tune-in, long item about World Trade Organization, but 2215 outro
as having been the News; a bit of music, then `Review of the Tuerkish
Press`; 2217 `Analysis` about algo; 2221 beeps and music. 2225
`Feeling Supreme` subtitled `Healthy Life` about natural sources of
----??, the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. Many foods
are listed including dark chocolate. The word is mentioned countless
times, sounds like ``nassition``?? I finally guess he is trying to
pronounce magnesium? Looking it up, skipping the gaseous elements,
potassium is #4 while magnesium is #7. 2233 music, 2237 `Did You Know
That?` by another accented announcer and I never get what, tho
distracted by TV news. 2244 multi-lingual ID loop but unseems the
usual complete spiel; more music; 2253 English schedule at sign-off,

suspicious carriers were heard as much as a week ago, now finally some
definite modulation. Tuned 9275 at 2048, via Maryland remote, preacher
in progress, S9+10/20 but noisy and shows +9/10 Hz carrier. Worse into
UTwente, S5/S7 and noisy, plus 7/8 Hz.

2101 piano music and brief WMLK ID, no frequency but targeting Europe
and ME. Restart another sermon by Elder Jacob O. Meyer himself - so
another deadly station. Any novelty will soon wear off.

It`s the ``Sacred Name Broadcast`` as this cult is obsessed with what
to call their god, as if a deity would give a damn about such

impressive. EJOM keeps rambling on about which religions are false,
for the whole hour past 2123 check; improved by 2142, S9/+15 to
UTwente. Nominal end is 2200 but still going at chex: 2201, 2208,
2222, but off by 2234. ID at 2203 ``You are listening to WMLK, Bethel,
Pennsylvania, 9475 kHz; please stay tuned`` for yet more EJOM. I think
he said 9475: I vaguely recall they may have been there before going
way OOB, already in 2005 WRTH as on 9275. No matter what, we may

time reference should be 2137, not 2037. BTW another test is scheduled

** BRAZIL. 9669.335V, June 16 at 0634, RVM music S1/S6 again way
off-frequency from nominal 9665. As I am measuring, it jumps to
9669.320V. Like first noted yesterday almost hitting 9670 where
Channel 292 is probably on but not audible here. In the meantime,
Wolfgang Büschel also reported June 15, direct or remotedly?:

about 1600-2100 on 11770 or even DRM 15120? June 16 at 1606, UTwente
lox with difficulty to a very weak algo on 11770.005, probably as in

** CUBA. 11850, June 10 at 0433, RHC Spanish, S9+30/40 but very
suptorted. This transmitter always flanked by plus/minus 10 kHz spur
carriers on 11840 & 11860, but now with supersignal fundamental, also
detect further multiples of JBA spurs on: 11830 & 11870; and even
weaker, 11820 & 11880. Something`s always wrong at RHC

** CUBA [and non]. 9790, June 10 at 0438, S9+35/50 of dead air except
for some hum, atop French direct from RFI, which surges when Cuba
fades. 9790 is the CRI relay supposed to be in Cantonese 04-05 after
English 03-04. Total failure! Something's always wrong at RadioCuba.
Even worse, 9790 can be left on past 0600 as recently

13 at 0650, RHC English, Mailbag contact from Richard Lemke, Alberta.

** CUBA. 4765, June 15 at 0030, checking for R. Progreso, but nothing
except CODAR swirshes into Maryland SDR. Nominal sked is 0030-0400
only and has been reported missing lately, but I have not checked
every night. I switch to Bonaire SDR, and at 0051 can hear some
nondescript music under the CODAR, but cuts off at 0101* so is that
Tajikistan instead? I keep monitoring when *0119 it comes back on with
music, and by 0125 I can barely tell it`s in Spanish. Something's

** CUBA. 11845, June 15 at 0632, weak pulse jamming on a
long-abandoned Radio Martí frequency and when was in use, daytime
only. The incompetent DentroCuban Jamming Command
