Logs
** GERMANY. 9670, June 4 at 2230, Channel 292 puts a sufficient S6-7
signal into Maryland SDR, carrier offset +15 Hz; some ACI on LSB
presumed Brasil+, evitable by USB tuning; talk in French but ID with
English name --- why do French stations do this? Radio Waves
International, contact address, music; 2259 ID in English, and:

2300, Texas Radio SW starts with `YROT` theme, roboyl opens from
``Laguna Madre on south Texas coast``, QSL offer; also from Cap`n Ric,
if rules are followed including at least 20 minutes of details.
Another announcement at 2316, now S6-S8 there and offset +16 Hz.
What?! TRSW does not make the cut of
https://www.visitcorpuschristitx.org/trip-ideas/must-see/10-cool-facts-about-the-laguna-madre/

No offense, but I would not spend an hour listening to Stevie Ray
Vaughan if reception were perfect local FM. This has been publicized
as a test to North America; east coast maybe, but direct to here at
2325 check, it`s a JBA carrier vs high noise level of S6-S7; `YROT`
theme again at 2359 closing via MD SDR, same reception as before.

The same SRV show should be less of a strain to hear in NAm later this
weekend, as Terry Colgan reminds us: ``June 6 at 0100 UT (Sat night in
NAm) on 5960 kHz [sic: it`s really 5950 WRMI]: Stevie Ray Vaughan. As
always, TRSW offers special eQSLs for correct reports conforming to
TRSW’s eQSL policy to texasradiosw@gmail.com``

Attn editors: do not ``correct`` ``NAm`` to ``Nam`` as has been
happening to my reports: it means North America, not (Viet) Nam!

As for Channel 292, their website sked is fuzzy low-res, but if you
keep clicking on it, you can get to a sharper version which will
enlarge. The TRSW airing is labeled N, for a direxional beam on a
strange map as 270 degrees toward NAm, which is NOT the case since
Earth is spherical; don`t tell 9330. The next beam ``O`` of 315
degrees would be closer to us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6974.9-AM, June 5 at 0156, S6-S7 of undermodulated
music, again presumed the `Nowhere Radio` transmitter as before. Yes,
some of these did get that ID from ``somewhere in the Midwest``:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,82440.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6960-AM, June 5 at 0157 pirate music at S6-S9,
presumed Ball Smacker Radio on usual 0100 UT Saturday show. Many more
reports here including extensive playlist but no SSTV:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,82441.0.html
concluding with this from BS itself:

``Sorry if we are a bit weaker tonight, only 30W instead of 200W as we
are camping deep in the woods. Totally solar charged batteries though!
Thanks for toughing it out and we hope to see you at full power next
week. The whole setup including antenna fits in a back pack! Audio
quality is still full if you can hear us. Lighting [sic] doesn't help
either. We really appreciate your reports, good or bad, and emails to
BallSmacker@ProtonMail.com will receive an eQSL reply`` (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6930-AM, June 5 at 0159, S9/+10 of rock music,
stronger than the other two on at this time. These say it`s WDOG:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,82442.0.html
which kept jumping frequencies from 6950 to 6933, 6930 (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** PERU. 4775.04, June 5 at 0202, JBA carrier, presumed still Radio
Tarma on its signature offset. The station had been attacked by
Sendero Luminoso, but apparently another of their transmitters. See
this illustrated story via CadenaDX FB via Don Moore, MARE Tipsheet:
https://peru21.pe/politica/terrorismo-vraem-pedro-castillo-peru-libre-sendero-luminoso-ataca-a-una-radio-opositora-a-cerron-en-tarma-noticia/
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, Fri June 4 at 2210, zero signal of REE English into
Maryland SDR; 11940 is VG but audio keeps cutting out! 15520 is OK;
11670 is surprisingly good way off the Africa beam, so I listen there;
2222 Justin Coe starts playing some blues music, and now 11940 is OK,
S9+5/15; back-timed so it ends just in time for pips at 2230; while on
other days final music gets chopped off but presumably plays out on
podcast of variable length (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2089 monitoring: confirmed Friday
June 4 at 2030 on IRRS `shortwave` via Italia-AM 918 kHz, Villa
Estense, S9+25 into nearby Noale SDR, but local noise level is higher
than usual, same until 2059 ID and FSN. Next:

but you may see them in original report}

** U S A. 6159.891, UT Sat June 5 at 0000, WBCQ with double-ID jingle,
JIP WTO theme for `AAAWWW`. First subject is aliens. Checked on a
Maryland SDR I already have up for TRSW. I`m otherwise occupied this
hour, so cede the floor to John Carver:

``Tonight's show started on time on 6160 and 7490 but 6160 was hard to
copy. Allan in the studio in hot and humid Fla with a beautiful
Angela. Angela brings up aliens again, also spam phone calls,
commercials etc. Allan starts reading the new edition of the Free
Radio Weekly at 0017. Talk then continues about radio and space
including SETI. Then a discussion of traveling in space. Phone call at
0049 from Mr. Transistor, Norm about digital AM radio. Another phone
call at 0055 talking about aliens and the pyramids. Reading of emails
at 0058 and off the air at 0100. John, Mid-North Indiana`` (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 28287.9, June 4 at 2005, beep every ~13 seconds where
one would expect a beacon. Maybe this on exact frequency in NJ5O
list:

``28.2879 N4PZ ? MOUNT MORRIS, ILLINOIS # ?,? Uncoordinated beacon
reported 5 Nov (DK7KG & K4AVO)`` qrz.com:

``N4PZ flag, STEPHEN R GROSS, MOUNT MORRIS, IL 61054`` --- He runs a
beacon on 432 MHz band but nothing about any others. No real sporadic
E beacons audible on 10m at this time (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Logs
** CUBA [and non]. 11860, June 1 at 0419, beepery again on a Cuban
jammer frequency vs Martí but which funxions only in the daytime. Now
there are two different pitches from slightly different frequencies
which are beating against the JBA spur carrier of RHC 11850 which is
on 11860, so BFO not necessary to hear them. Pattern now is: very
rapid strings of one tone, pause, alternating with same very rapid
strings of the other tone. Too fast to count but estimated about 20 at
a time. There is also a SAH from a second weak carrier on 11860,
presumably the Sa`udi Yemeni, known to be slightly off-frequency
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** JAPAN [non]. 9490, June 1 at 0406, Japanese with CCI from a LAH but
no jamming. NHK is relayed 0300-0500 via Nauen, GERMANY for Mideast
but only other listee at this hour is Tibet. Radio República relay via
FRANCE is supposed to be over at 0200, but Issoudun is known to be
off-frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. On 5/31/21 10:26 PM, Glenn Hauser wrote: ``95.3, May 31
at 2225 UT and continually, KOKC OKC talk is solid; hard to believe
it`s just a 250-watt translator K237GE of 10 kW 1520; but it does have
high-tower advantage, I think, tho WTFDA has default 0.0 entries for
HAAT!`` --- Doug Smith replies on the WTFDA gg:

An FM translator can (often does) have *twelve* HAATs and for that
reason, most don't have a HAAT entry in the FCC database.

(For full-power stations, "average terrain" is calculated along eight
radials, every 45 degrees, around the tower; then, all eight radials
are averaged. For translators, twelve radials are used -- and the
highest radial determines the maximum permissible power.)

You can calculate the HAAT of a translator (or any other station) on
this page:
https://www.fcc.gov/media/radio/haat-calculator

It has no legal standing but allows you to compare a translator's
coverage to a full-power station's on an equal basis`` (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** SAUDI ARABIA [and non]. 15170.061, June 1 at 0425, S8-S9 of Arabic,
0427 Qur`an. We are now getting into summer solstitial `midnite sun`
propagation mode of higher `night` MUFs due to increased insolation of
high-latitude paths such as this, which peaks about 62 degrees, almost
reaching Reykjavík. Scheduled 0300-0600, the only 15170 station
anywhen. Previous summers this has attained soporific status, but more
sunspots would be helpful. Typically skewed Riyadh frequency.

Several other JBA carriers on 19m band now, and even one on 17530 at
0431: but that would be low-latitude T-E MWV Madagascar in Chinese.

15170+, next night June 2: 0316 continuous Qur`an S9 fluttery to S7,
soporific enough until 0359 announcement and A.S. ID, then mostly talk
and weakening. A lot more carriers on 19m now, surely all except 15230
Cuba originating in the dayside, Afroeurasia. Sesqui-decades ago,
15170 would have been Tahiti (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Re WORLD OF RADIO 2088 monitoring: Correxion: 6159.905, not
6159.105; fixed:
Also confirmed Sun May 30 from 2200.1 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6159.905 as
measured by NA5B remote in MD, S7-S5 but sounds VG signal. IS & ID
loop from 2158 tune-in, other music across hourtop before WOR start.

thanks this week to Chris Campbell, OH, for a contribution via PayPal
[in US funds but not necessarily], to woradio at yahoo.com and

Or by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to:

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9940, June 1 at 0335, WTWW on here and // 5085 with rock
song ``My Mother-in-Law``. 5085 is known as WTWW-2 but so is 9940 new
ex-9930. A test, I guess. Neither of the WTWW-1 frequencies is on now,
5830 & 9475, so could be #1 transmitter on #2 frequency? Or what about
the #3 transmitter? Hardly ever active on registered 12105 or 15810.
Would be of interest if anyone ever hear WTWW on any three frequencies
at once. Tnx to tip from Jorge Freitas, Bahia, Brasil who noted the
duoply at 0253-0313. Next night, June 2 at 0040 check, only 5085 is
on, with rock, a bit early for a weekday; and still solo at 0110
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 28204-CW, June 1 at 1523, beacon W0WF/B, JBA I copied as
W9WF/B, but this one is listed by WJ5O: ``28.204 WØWF * SAINT CHARLES,
MISSOURI # 20W, VERTICAL (*) Daylight New 16 June 14``

QRZ.com: ``W0WF USA flag USA, JERRY D WATTS, SAINT CHARLES, MO 63303.
IF YOU COPY MY BEACON ON 28.204 PLEASE E-MAIL ME A SIGNAL REPORT AND
YOUR LOCATION TO W0WF.B@AOL.COM``

There is also an even weaker one slightly lower between 28203 and
28204, perhaps 28203.3, WB9OTX, Versailles IN I have logged recently.

28199.5-CW, June 1 at 1527, DE WA4OTD/B CARMEL, IN. This is the one
still listed on wrong frequency by WJ5O, 27288.8 with 5 watts;
stronger than W0WF now (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Re: ``93.1, May 31 at 2223 UT, ``93.1, The ---`` sounds like
one syllable. I have to cope with marginal KS and OK signals not DX
and this may be one of them rather than usual dominant ``My 93.1``
KHMY in Pratt KS. WTFDA Database shows no OK or KS with a The ---
slogan, so maybe skip but not enough data!

Dave Hascall replies on the WTFDA gg: ``Hi Glenn. Could your 93.1 be
Lima Ohio, The Fan? Dave in Indy`` --- Could, but too many other
possibilities and at this time I was getting Manitoba/Ontario. That`s
WWSR, only 3/3 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Logs
** CANADA. 93.5, May 31 at 2227 UT, sporadic E of French Canadian talk
overcomes marginal Kansan, see USA; 2233 with 204 AC phone, weather
for Winnipeg and Churchill; maybe ID in passing partly faded starting
CK- but could still be CBC/RC. Still at 2237 when hardly anything
else. None of the Manitobans fit but this does, just over in Ontario,
and the only FF 93.5 in Ont. per WTFDA Database:

``CKSB-7-FM relays CKSB-1050 93.5 KENORA ON French NEWS/TALK ICI
RADIO-CANADA PREMIERE 20.0 kW H&V 100.0m HAAT 49-46-06 94-30-17``

CBC acquired the private CKSB 1050 St-Boniface long ago and added it
to its French network, kept the callsign, not CBWF. I guess it had
been a private affiliate of CBC/SRC. 1542 km = 958 stmi from Kenora to
Enid, ideal Es distance.

93.1, May 31 at 2227 UT, telco-quality talk in English by a native
person about ceremonies, residential schools, the scandal in BC.
``First Nations`` terminology which is typically Canadian but may be
spreading south of the border, where it should be banned for the sake
of DX identification. Closest to Kenora PTA is this, but HOT AC?

``CFOB-FM 93.1 FORT FRANCES ON HOT AC THE BORDER 21.0 kW H&V 0.0 m
HAAT 48-36-10 93-26-53 C27E``

How about Manitoba? The only 93.1 is also allegedly musical:
``CHPO-FM 93.1 PORTAGE LA PRARIE MB COUNTRY COUNTRY 93.1 27.0 kW H&V
73.0 m HAAT Horiz, 0.0 Vert, 49-58-09 98-22-27``

92.1, May 31 at 2255 UT, ``This is Blaine? 92`` or ``Play 92``?
Looking thru all the hundreds of 92.1 listings I don`t find those or
anything rhyming, one syllable with a long-A. Except this is close!
``CHMX-FM 92.1 REGINA SK 90'S HITS PLAY 92.1 100.0 kW H&V 190.0m HAAT
50-30-42 104-33-29`` 1653 km = 1027 stmi. Mixes with dead air $ tereo
signal, nearby? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13521 trace, 13580 S7, 13639 S9, 13761 S5, 13821 S2-S3, 13882
trace, all approx., May 31 at 1426, spurblobs with telltale F# tone
and music modulation on the stronger ones, ~61 kHz intervals out of
13700-AM; something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6974.911-AM, May 31 at 0234, soft pirate music at
S7-S9. Lots of unID logs:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,82284.0.html
who do not realize that on this exact off-frequency, Nowhere Radio has
been reported before including by me on April 25, May 1 and 13;
however definite IDs were lacking. Same transmitter anyway, but only
the op can specify the name(s) used on any occasion. At this time I
also have a trace of music on 6970-USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 7475-AM, May 31 at 0312, Station YHWH at S9/+10 into
Corinne, N Utah SDR; 0317 ID asserting he is in North America; deep
fades and occasional peaks higher. Tnx to tip from Eric Fetters-Walp
near Seattle WA. Rick Barton, AZ was also hearing it well, but I found
the Surprise AZ SDR had only a weak S5 signal. Rick says:
``yes, Glenn, anytime you use the Surprise AZ antenna you are hearing
from near me. I live just off Greenway Rd and the Surprise city limits
are 6 miles to my west. 73 -rb`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. Some marginal notes are mixed with FMDX under USA

** ROMANIA. RRI: ``Glenn, Re: Romania, the second Ţigăneşti
transmitter is still off the air after five weeks. 9550 at 0000 and
7375 at 0300 for English to North America have been missing during
that time; presumably other transmissions as well. Must be a major
transmitter failure that Radicom has been unable to resolve. Stephen
Luce, Houston, Texas`` (WOR iog)

during that bihour. Now 12040 will collide with KSDA at 2200-2230
only. The other Guamanian, KTWR is also on 12040 but off by 1300
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. May 31 at 2111-2130 UT I was getting a number of 10m
beacons, see above, from OH, IN and IL; checked after not getting any
88+ MHz FM Es DX on the DX-398. But then from 2215 with DXMAP MUF
spiking to 100 MHz, I move to the Nissan stock caradio, to find:

93.1, May 31 at 2223 UT, ``93.1, The ---`` sounds like one syllable. I
have to cope with marginal KS and OK signals not DX and this may be
one of them rather than usual dominant ``My 93.1`` KHMY in Pratt KS.
WTFDA Database shows no OK or KS with a The --- slogan, so maybe skip
but not enough data!

93.5, May 31 at 2224 UT, ``My Country 93 - 5`` -- that`s only KKDY, 95
kW, Burdett KS, which is a tiny town west of Great Bend. Then I have
French! See CANADA. Faded by 2241, back to KKDY with 785 AC for
northern Kansas.

95.3, May 31 at 2225 UT and continually, KOKC OKC talk is solid; hard
to believe it`s just a 250-watt translator K237GE of 10 kW 1520; but
it does have high-tower advantage, I think, tho WTFDA has default 0.0
entries for HAAT!

92.1, May 31 at 2251 UT, ad for Tri-Hospital.com ? But doesn`t
connect; searching on the name leads to Port Huron, Michigan, but
there is no 93.5 near there of the several in MI; nor Sarnia ON, and
well outside the current PTA - probable target area.

92.1, May 31 at 2258 UT, ``Your Country Q-92`` --- There are a few Q92
stations with or without hyphen in US, one in Clinton, north-central
Arkansas, too far for GW, and none in the PTA, none in Canada. No 92.1
hits at all on Your Country.

92.1, May 31 at 2258 past 2300 UT, dead air with $ tereo pilot mixing
with modulating 92.1 stations! May be KS/OK rather than DX. No, not my
own RF feeder which is definitely off (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. CBS News Sunday Morning: I`m still recording it myself off
KWTV, but starting to watch the May 30 via website
https://www.cbsnews.com/sunday-morning/
I find that altho the file is still 62+ minutes skipping the
commercials, now it has been set up to insert ads separately at every
break, and they are inevitable, so back to my tape where I may zap
them. Meanwhile I let the webversion play and find that it has stalled
at some point, won`t restart, but if I move the timer a bit I get more
ads before it restalls at the same image. They`ve screwed it up
again!

BTW, last week the Nature segment was not extended either. This week
on air we get only 27 seconds of Yosemite. But *must see* the full
2:15 version separately on website, mostly waterfalls; after a
30-second edible cookie commercial (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Glenn Hauser logs May 29-30, 2021  View Printable Version
Sunday, May 30 2021

Logs
** BRAZIL. 9665.24V, May 29 at 2309, RVM is unsteady and slipped above
9665 after quite a spell on the minus side, music and then Brazuguese
preaching, S6-S2 on the JRC.

9665.098V, May 30 at 0604, Brazuguese preaching, now measured on the
Icom (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CANADA [and non]. 248-MCW kHz, May 30 at 0623 UT, ND beacon WG with
notably strong signal, far more than any other Canadian, and than my
`local` Okies 255 SW and 350 RG which are JBA vs high storm noise
level; and 341 EI Enid remains silent for weeks. WG is 1000 watts from
WinnipeG; and never heard are 5 other listed Canadians on 248, two of
which are to be decommissioned in August per dxinfocentre.com (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey in the 12/13 MHz area, May 30 at 1421:
12500 Chinese at S5-S7; 12820 JBA carrier; 12880 Chinese S5-S7; 13130
Chinese S4-S5; 13530 JBA carrier vs CODAR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [and non]. 7335, 7345, 7355, 7365, 7405, May 30 at 0611, noise
jammers of various strengths all against nothing since R. Martí closes
two+ hours earlier! Or in case of 7405 never at all this season. 7335
jam is heaviest; 7365 lightest. Of note that 7345 is the RM DRM
channel which quits at 0200, and when it`s on I never detect jamming
which is so similar to DRM noise itself.

All this excessive jamming, just more evidence of Commie paranoia, and
who gives a damn about polluting our SW bands totally unnecessarily?
7345 also has buried a JBA AM carrier, which during this hour only
would be BBCWS English via Ascension. Something`s always wrong at the
DentroCuban Jamming Command. Meanwhile there is no jamming on 7435
which is also an RM frequency earlier (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13764, May 30 at 1426, spurblob out of RHC 13700-AM, telltale
F# tone but no program audio; all approx., also traces around 13828,
13893, 13636 at ~64 kHz intervals. Something`s always wrong at RHC
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NIGERIA. 7254.9+, May 30 at 0610, VON is on today with chants and
presumed Hausa, S9+10/20. This thing could successfully provide a N
American service if there were English on air before 0600, but then I
would complain that it`s intruding into our hamband; while targeting
only Africa Region 1 is legit. Of course they could equally serve NAm
on an open frequency above 7300 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 94.3, May 29 at 1930, 2125 and May 30 at 0115 UT chex,
and *still* at 1814 May 30, open carrier/dead air from KLGB-LP, one of
my closest transmitters, so maybe less of a QRM problem. Sibling
KVBN-LP, co-located on same tower by an ex-church, continues nominal.
Both are 100 watts ERP H&V, in WTFDA database as ``religious
teaching`` but both are really mostly gospel rock now. Well, it is a
``holiday weekend`` so maybe will stay off Monday too (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** ROMANIA. 11730, May 29 at 2313, `Club Cultura` from RRI in Spanish,
about museum restorations, S8-S5. No // found on same band; uplooked
later in EiBi: 11730 & 9760 Galbeni to CAm; 11650 & 13750 Tsiganeshti
to SAm listed (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR

** U S A. 28281-CW, May 29 at 2322, W8EH beacon JBA, 8 watts to
vertical with ground plane from Middletown OH, as recently logged but
now the only 10m beacon audible; yet there are a few phone USB QSOs
higher up like 28395, 28400, 28430. I had just found only one such on
the 18 MHz band, 18140, but lots of skip with hets on AM CB 27 MHz
frequencies. Today`s sporadic E MUFs mostly well below the FM band,
but a few spixe not well positioned for DX to here (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. 28286.5-CW, May 30 at 1503, WB0BIN the only beacon JB
audible, alternating fast and slow WPM, 7 watts from Sabin, Minnesota.
As heard several times before. I keep getting only a few of the same
ones by sporadic E vs hundreds listed on 10m at
https://www.qsl.net/wj5o/bcn.htm
mostly as C for allegedly continuous rather than Intermittent, and
also # for confirmed active (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2088 monitoring: confirmed UT
Sunday May 30 from 0321.5 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, Gateway 160 Amateur
Radio Newsletter, good via near-local KB0FX KiwiSDR, but with heavy
storm noise despite none closer than western KS & OK, and along the
NC/SC/GA coasts. Next:

2000 UT Sunday IRRS 918-Italy
2200vUT Sunday WBCQ 6160v Area 51 to WSW
2300 UT Sunday WRMI 7780 to NE

Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7505, May 29 at 0155, S9+20/10 of dead air from WRNO. Lately
has been inputting a stronger signal than before, modulated or not
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5850, UT Sun May 30 at 0100, `Encore` from R. Tumbril,
SCOTLAND, via WRMI. VG via KB0FX MO remote for convenience since am at
computer, but would also be VG direct. Also // 7780 which was back on
air UT Sat after missing UT Fri for WOR during same hour. Much more
diverse music this week than last week`s major composers. Playlist
labeled 29/5: Poulenc, Fauré, Gavin Bryars, Hindemith, Francesco
Mancini, Spiro, a polka-mazurka, Schubert. Synchro fake stereo mode
gives it ``width`` with the notes cycling left and right, and now the
SDR clix in this mode are less frequent and less obtrusive (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9940, Sun May 30 at 1712, WTWW-2 is on this new frequency
ex-9930 but hardly ever used; gospel music, then YL with ``Atlas[?]
Weather on WTWW`` for Nashville, also some other cities including
Escanaba, Michigan, why? Random choice? This is S9-S7 and noisy, much
weaker than the other WTWW-1 now on 9475 which is also seldom
activated but more likely on Sunday holydays, which is SFAW not //
9940. Then Ted plugs ``USA Bible Academy`` on ``this website`` to
avoid in-person COVID instruxion. 1714 a canned ID on 9940 for
``5085`` !! They still don`t have their act together. Both 9`s most
likely to be active only weekends.

First time I`ve caught 9940, but A-21 HFCC registered available 24/7,
100 kW at 180 degrees while 9475 is 100 kW at 55 degrees, explaining
why 9940 is so relatively weak here off the side close to 270 degrees
from Lebanon. TWR Eswatini and Furusato no Kaze also 9940 at times.

I was bandscanning 17 down thru 9 MHz as during the stupid carace Indy
500, round and round, getting nowhere, signifying nothing --- but
maybe some driver or spectators will be killed! --- would be a time if
ever for WHRI to be turned back on as a former annual religious
festival, but no sign of it on any band (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VATICAN [and non]. 9645, Sun May 30 at 0607, VR liturgy Sunday-only
in Romanian, harmonious responses, S6-S7; accompanied by:

9620, May 30 at 0607, Qu`ran at S9-S6, i.e. Algeria via FRANCE.

9420, May 30 at 0608, third ecumenical choice should be Greek Orthodox
service from ERA but JBA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9502.0-USB, May 29 at 2307, weak 2-way in Spanish
INTRUDER; cambio (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 12000, May 30 at 0559, JBA carrier at first assumed
again 2 x 6000 RHC; but not //, talk here, music there just before
6000 cuts off. 12000 talk seems Spanish on USB, so maybe another 2-way
intruder demodulated by the Cuba carrier (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
