CUBA see Kiwi SDR access remotedly in Colombia at URLhttp://duitama.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073/ 11760 kHz RHC Bauta sundays only in Esperanto at 16.00-16.30 UT. S=9+15 or -62dBm signal observed at 16.04 UT and some annoying BUZZ audio interference 'visible on 120, 240, 360, and 480 Hertz distance apart' and also 15140 kHz S=8-9 or -68dBm at 16.12 UT on Jan 23. and also the other azimuth direction at Adair Village in Oregon-US state western US state, of W7PUA KiwiSDR installation at http://w7pua-2.ddns.net:8073/ 15140 kHz stronger than 11760 kHz, S=9+20dB of -57dBm at 16.23 UT on Jan 23. Esperanto px til approx. 16.28 UT, but from 16.29 UT seems I state change from Esperanto to pure Spanish language - likely. Guantanamo Cuba island item (matter of former US empire, the harbour rent 120 years ago, or even concentration camp prison matter of US justice too). Followed at 16.32 UT Cuban canciones music. RHC station ID given in Spanish at 16.33:08 UTC, '... para El Mundo ...'. Sunday, January 23 2022
** AUSTRALIA. CARN - Calling All Radio Nutzz, publicized by Jen to occur at 19-21 UT Sat Jan 22 on Unique Radio 5035-USB and stream: so I bring up the stream at 1915 and past 1927 hear nothing but rock music, apparently by a DJ in Los Angeles, altho an Unique Radio ID inserted. C.A.R.N. was supposed to include: ``prop news, Segments From Around The HF Radio Spectrum, besides, HF audio files to play for you. GB's logs From the Past, Musical Interlude, Dx-News, & last but not least, Our Live HF tuning segment From South FL, Jen & GB From England seeing what`s hot on the "Waves"`` --- but no sign of that with Jen nor in following semihour when I leave the rock on in the background.
Since radio and internet are already saturated with rock, why does anyone think we want more of it??? At 1957, however, Aussie Tim is introducing his own signature show, `Sounds of Your Life` -- well, maybe his life. Must be a very old recording as he claims to be also on WINB 13755-DRM, Wed/Thu/Fri at 1400-1500, which is not even its current frequency; and on 5045 which is not even his own current frequency, from Gunnedah NSW, not his current location. The Unique Radio website is quite a mess if you try to figure out what`s on when, more and more DJ shows (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 9700, Jan 22 at 0805 UT, RHC is *still* on the air, not a typo, S9+10 but JBM in English. 5040, only other frequency still on at 0807 Jan 22, but is the S9+20/30 dead air in English or Spanish? Take that, Vanuatu! Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 11880, Jan 22 at 2215, RHC with weather report in English, S9 but undermodulated with hum; 11850 Spanish is S9+25/S8 but suptorted and pulsing; 11760 S8-S9 distorted. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6933 USB, Jan 22 at 2253, S9/+23 but distorted, overmodulated playing ``Wheels``; 2254.7 SSTV beepery; 2256.6 no announcement, surfin` tune; 2258.7 another SSTV already; 2300.6 another surfin` song; 2302.7 ``Wipeout``, still distorted. If you are really out on the waves, you certainly are not listening to any music so how is this a subgenre all its own? Tune away briefly, then 2308 recheck it`s off. If there were ever any ID, sign-off announcement, I missed it, but am confident there will be HFU reports: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,91986.0.html Outhouse Radio since 2204, with noisy images (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6925 AM, Jan 22 at 2308, rock at S8-S9, 2309 English talk with background noise, ``-- Dog? Radio``, ``if you don`t like it, tune your radio to a different frequency``. Hmmm, hadn`t thought of that. Bet it`s not RCW Chile, a prime time for it nor on 7610. These say it`s Goatherder Radio, a Zekey station: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,91989.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 5960, Jan 22 at 2258 direct, S9+15/25 of open carrier: then I barely hear the VOT IS JBM, 2300 unreadable sign-on. So today`s transmitter is the one which hardly modulates. Over to the pirate band, where there is *over* modulation. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U K. Audioviewed another webcast of Radio Emma Toc by Jim Salmon, Sat Jan 22 at 1600-1800 UT; continuous talk, calling out to a few chatters, several brief AV clips mostly about offshore pirate radio. Said he was recording and entirety would be available for replay: https://www.mixcloud.com/live/RadioEmmaToc/ and so it is, in brief check afterwards. Next one will be on anniversary of original RET, Mon Feb 14. Has been on WRMI and Channel 292 before and plans some more SW sometime (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2122 monitoring: confirmed Sat Jan 22 after 1700 on WRN North America webcast. Also confirmed starting at 2029 Sat Jan 22 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, S9+11 into nearby MO SDR. Thanks this week to Moises Corilloclla, Rego Park NY, for a check on a US bank to Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds to: woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 5830, Jan 22 at 0807 UT, not a typo, WTWW-1 is still on with PPPP, S9+40. Therefore, 5085 WTWW-2 must also be on: yes, S9+40 of rock music.
