Vi segnalo che nel libro "Backspaces - Typewritten Tales of Time Travel" edito da Loose Dog Press ("loose dog"  è un pezzo del meccanismo di scappamento delle macchine da scrivere) c'è una novella (Treasureland di Ewan Matheson) in cui si cita il radioascolto ed in particolare Radio Nederland ed il suo ID degli anni '60: "This is Radio Nederland, the Dutch world broadcasting system...". Cita anche la situazione attuale con le bande quasi deserte... E' un viaggio nel tempo del protagonista.
Interessante questo passaggio:"I realized this was much like the internet, except with these voices going out over the airwaves, like--never to be captured, stored and ready for consumption at any time. To connect with these broadcasts was to feel connected to the world in a way the World Wide WEb lacked".
Curioso, ed il bello è che il libro è completamente analogico: tutti i racconti sono stati scritti a macchina e pubblicati dopo aver scansionato i manoscritti. (Questa piccola casa editrice fa parte dell'iniziativa di Richard Polt, docente di Filosofia all'Università di Cincinnati, ed ha già pubblicato altri due libri di racconti di fantascienza con lo stesso formato).
