NPR is based in Washington DC, but is non-governmental. It is the prime non-commercial radio network in the USA, featuring excellent journalism, cultural entertainment.
I`ve hinted in the past to Jeff White that he should put at least some NPR news on WRMI as a public service, offsetting crap like TOMBS, SMTV, etc., etc. Glenn

USA  This PRESENT mini 7490v kHz unit is useless for trans-Atlantic
reception into Europe/North Africa azimuth target during March to Oct summer
season.
I guess azimuth on WBCQ in use is the other direction of 245 degrees on
limited 7 dB log-periodics ?
The other way around to move the great revolving Ampegon beast
of 300 kW from 9330 to 7490 kHz in 41 mb, for limited night hours only.
