Thursday, February 13 2020
** CUBA. 13508-trace, 13572, 13636; 13765, 13831, 13896, 13958 approx., Feb 12 at 1448, spurblobs out of RHC 13700-AM; the closer stronger ones more readable FM than AM mode, not at all in SSB. Averaging only ~64 kHz intervals, never landing on OCB/jamming. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15369.233V, Feb 12 at 2139, RHC way off-frequency for second day, S9/+10 in Brazuguese, and // abnormally weak 11880.0 S7. 15140.0 is still on but dead air, after all-day distortion. Usually all three are in Portuguese at 2100-2130 rather than 3 different languages. At 2130 supposedly scheduled are Arabic on 15370, Portuguese on 11880. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** EL SALVADOR. 18120.06-USB, Feb 12 at 1919, one signal making it on ``17m`` phone: mostly repeating only callsign over and over fonetikally, occasionally inserting CQ or QRZ. Accent makes it hard to read, plus mixture of official ICAO and unofficial fonetix: at first I thought he was saying ``Ocean United one ---`` something; then pretty sure the suffix ``Delta Lima`` --- but then the first letter more like ``Hotel``. Only a few minutes later does he get a real contact. Yup, QRZ.com lookup goes nowhere to OU1DL which might be in Belgium, but hits upon HU1DL as: ``German DXpedition 2020 La Paz, El Salvador QSL: OQRS, DL4SVA Page managed by DL7VEE Lookups: 114976 German DXpedition to El Salvador from January 30 to February 13, 2020 Operators: Andy DH8WR, Tom DJ6TF, Werner DJ9KH, Frank DL1KWK, Dietmar DL2HWA, Norbert DL2RNS, Georg DL4SVA, Olaf DL7JOM, Rolf, DL7VEE, Franz DL9GFB Thanks to YS1AG, YS1GMV, YS1MAE, YS1MS, YS1RS, CRAS, SIGET. Planned are three kW-stations 24/7 from 160 to 6 m with wire antennas. Homepage: https://hu1dl.mydx.de 9927109 Last modified: 2020-02-10 00:29:10, 575 bytes`` Lots of info on homepage with photos, frequency list, etc. Hasten (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2020 monitoring: confirmed Wed Feb 12 after 2100 on WRMI 7780, JBA on portable. Also confirmed Wed Feb 12 starting at 2200:20 on WBCQ 7490.110V, S9+10/20 initially but soon fading down to S7-S9. Next: 0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1090, Feb 12 at 0702 UT, KAAY Little Rock drops to dead air after lengthy PSA about veterans. The exact time this happens varies somewhat (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 12 at 0643-0649 UT: 585, 612, 639, 711, 747, 774(2), 837, 855, 882, 891, 909, 936, 1044, 1053, 1089, 1107, 1125, 1134, 1215, 1314 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 1477 & 1503 kHz approx., Feb 12 at 1432 UT, spurblobs out of some 1490 station are still audible (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 2325 UT February 12

Wednesday, February 12 2020
** CANADA. 399-MCW kHz, Feb 11 at 0720 UT, ND Beacon dash and ZHD, which is 25 watts from Dryden - Barclay, Ontario.
406-MCW kHz, Feb 11 at 0721 UT, NDB dash and YLJ, which is 40 watts from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, I was tuned to 405-USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 13491, 13558, 13630; 13770, 13841, 13911, 13982-trace approx., Feb 11 at 1532, spurblobs at 70-71 kHz intervals out of RHC 13700-AM. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15369.234, Feb 11 at 2124, RHC in Brazuguese knocked way off-frequency, and distorted, S9/+10; and also // much better 15140.0 same S reading, but OK modulation; and just as they are all going into music, also // 11880.0, S9+20 OK mod. Lest we forget per EiBi, these are supposed to be in 3 different languages at 2100-2130, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic respectively. Something`s always wrong at RHC. 2337 recheck, has faded way down to S5-S8 in Spanish, audibly wavering and remeasured at 15369.236 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MEXICO. 6185.75, Feb 11 at 1544, S5-S7 JBM carrier from XEPPM still way off-frequency and way off-time according to own schedule (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 1210, KGYN Guymon, in the Panhandle continues to be quite audible here in Enid at night, usually the dominant station on frequency, making me suspect it`s not really nulling toward WPHT Philadelphia; however, we are a bit south of that direxion. Closer to the null line would be Wichita and Saint Louis, and points in between. Could some listeners around there check whether KGYN be audible, and more significantly, is there any change in signal at its nominal SS/SR times which in February are officially: 0030/1330 UT (March: 0045/1300 UT). 10 kW day pattern is ND; 10 kW night pattern of three towers in a row, is a somewhat broad cardioid favoring WSW with deep notch ENE toward Philadelphia. As seen in mv-eko, KGYN is often heard and QSLed from Scandinavia, but that great circle is more northerly. It still has to get past WPHT et al. The Feb issue reports three QSLs of KGYN, two of them signed by owner Greg Steckline (who presumably is at corp HQ in Kansas), and in fact NO other OK MW stations reported heard or QSLed, altho those guys pull in hundreds of US stations more challenging than KGYN (Glenn Hauser, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2020 monitoring: missed checking UT Tue Feb 11 at 0100 on WRMI 7780; did anyone hear it? Next: 0900 UT Wednesday Unique Radio NSW 5045-USB 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v 0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1090, Feb 11 at 0651 UT, KAAY Little Rock AR in dead air already, so not limited to hourtops; but 0656 resumed with music; did not get back in time before 0705 to hear the usual news hole tonight (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 1477.15V & 1502.85V, Feb 11 circa 0700 UT, distorted weak matching spurblobs, unreadable FModulated, must be out of defective 1490 kHz transmitter exactly halfway between them. At 2340 UT, before 0008 UT sunset here, not being heard, implying, but not certainly that this be westish rather than eastish from here. 1477.235V & 1502.765V, Feb 12 at 0021 UT, now they are reaudible, same type of pairing varied to slightly different tho more closely measured frequencies, i.e. plus and minus 12.765 from 1490.000. So far on the R75 with E-W longwire only. At 0110 UT Feb 12, I employ the hand-held wrist-altazimuth DX-398 with BFO offset, to try to get a DF on them: peaks NE/SW on both of them. This might imply out of my local 1390 KCRC, which used to be a bad spur-producer closer in --- but does not work out mathematically, and besides, the spurs are fading. Nevertheless, just in case, I check the same displacements on the minus side of 1390, i.e. 1277.24 & 1302.76, and hear nothing. On 1490 itself, of course, a pileup of graveyarders, impossible to make any modulation peak match. There are none near enough to here to dominate. NE/SW axis implies most likely MO or TX, or possibly a state neighbor to those, with TX the top choice because they were lacking pre-sunset. So what stations are in that area? There are a dozen TX on 1490! Closest to the SW axis are KZZN Littlefield and KBST Big Spring; a little further CCW are KVWC Vernon (closest), KWMC Del Rio. Also possible, XECJC Ciudad Juarez in the right direxion, one of few Mexicans which may still be active on 1490. The three MO 1490s are KDMO Carthage, KTTR Rolla and KDRO Sedalia. I recall there was a similar pair of unID blobs a good many months ago but haven`t been able to find them in archives by frequency searches. I don`t believe that mystery was resolved. Now it would be very helpful if others in the area from different angles could at least get a DF bearing on them (they should match), if not any readable audio to ID them directly, such as by matching modulation peaks to a local 1490 (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Feb 11 at 0653-0657 UT: 666, 693, 711, 747, 774(2), 846, 855, 882, 936(2), 1044, 1053, 1107, 1125, 1215, 1305. (2) means at least two carriers beating. Notably missing are the big Algerians, 531, 549, 576, 891 --- by now they may be too far into the dayside; not much from BBC either. 846 is extremely weak but is the only one suspected of being TP instead: Kiritimati, where it`s still way after sunset, but I had not been hearing any of it for some weeks; is it still on? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 356-MCW kHz, Feb 11 at 0716 UT, ND beacon PJ. None listed at dxinfocenter on this or adjacent frequencies; no dash, but if it were on 329 it would be in Whitehorse YT. Possibly a mixture of: PI in Peoria IL, and SJ in San Angelo TX: .--. .. and ... .--- (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report despatched at 0347 UT February 12

** CANADA. 6977-USB, Sunday Feb 9 at 2223 while checking the Pirate Band, instead find a CFARS net, mostly JBA inviting checkins from the 600`s. ``This is CIW311``, then contacting CIW401 loud and clear, and CIW444. Most CFARS info is classified, login for members only, but
This has the net roster as public info: http://www.cfarsoperations.ca/vncs.html 200 calls are BC, 300 Alberta then increase to 800's in the Maritimes. Also linx to this: http://cfarsoperations.ca/nr2020.html showing CIW311 is Darcy, supposed to be NCS Feb 16, not today (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MEXICO. 6185.69, Feb 9 at 2221, music JBM as XEPPM is still way off-frequency; 6185.771, Feb 10 at 1504, JBM carrier remeasured, at a time when otherwise it is difficult to confirm it`s really Radio Educación on the air far beyond its nominal evening-only schedule. Or was: WRTH 2020 says 1400-0500 and calls it instead Señal Cultura México with 5 kW. Of course during standard time until first Sunday in April it runs until 0600v* UT = local midnite, but starting when? Current program grid here below several other outlets shows on air only at 17-24 local time = 23-06 UT: https://radioeducacion.edu.mx/carta-programatica-del-mes (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 11560, Feb 9 at 2106, anti-Christ pirate, Station YHWH is back, JBA voice of Josiah, tnx to tip from Rick Barton, AZ, on the WOR iog. Already off at 2136 recheck. Sweeps past 7470 following evening did not find him back on his prime frequency, where Rick and I had last logged him January 10. And no other reports since then (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. Re my report of 1319.96, KCLI Clinton, mentioning in ID, KWEY HD-4, Fredrik Douren points out that KWEY does have an FM, 18+ kW on 95.5 -- but no info about its HD subchannels. Stephen Luce, Houston TX, also replies: ``Glenn, yes, there are FMs with HD-4 subchannels; we have a few of those here in Houston. Probably the limit as available allocated bandwidth would otherwise be too narrow for decent audio--I have never heard of anyone running an HD-5.`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2020 monitoring: confirmed Sunday February 9 at 2130 on WRMI 7780, JBA here at S9 vs noise level. Also confirmed, UT Monday February 10 at 0130 on WRMI 7780, fair-good via UTwente SDR in Holland. Also confirmed, UT Mon Feb 10 at 0230 on WRMI 7780, good via UTwente; and 9395 aimed NNW is JBA over there. Also confirmed on WRN webcast almost synchronised with 7780. Also confirmed, UT Mon Feb 10 starting at 0401 on Area 51 webcast; via WBCQ 5130 checked at 0427 it`s good here S9+10, altho not making it to the Peoria IL KiwiSDR. Also confirmed, UT Mon Feb 10 at 0430, JBA carrier here vs Cuban pulse jamming; but VG at Rockport ME KiwiSDR, way atop JBA jamming. Also confirmed, Mon Feb 10 from about 1901 on IRRS 7290 via Romania? VG via UTwente SDR. Carrier already on at 1857, JIP Aida theme about 1900:18, lost internet connexion here but WOR must`ve started. Next: 0100 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 0900 UT Wednesday Unique Radio NSW 5045-USB 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v 0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 7490.15v, Sun Feb 9 at 2220, WBCQ S9+20 with `Marion`s Attic`. BTW, I understand that a similar voice heard on GRITS Radio was Brad Read, the host of GRITS. Someone who heard more of the latest show says it was announced by his wife, Val, that he has a malignant tumor on vocal cords or larynx. Doctors believe that radiation will take care of the problem and he is scheduled to do so shortly and expected to recover fully (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 15825, Feb 10 at 1545, WWCR-1 again boosted to S9+20 by winter HF sporadic E, still squealing; 13845 also way above normal level. DXmap shows MUF of 21-29-56 MHz over MI and adjacent ON, not the right spot for this path which must have a blob at least 16 MHz halfway between here and Nashville. By 1748 recheck, there`s 23 MHz over NW corner of TN (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 1913 UT February 10

** CUBA. 15140, Feb 9 at 1452, RHC is distorted here and much stronger than // 15230, which is not only distorted but also suppressed modulation = suptorted. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** OKLAHOMA. 1319.96 kHz, Feb 9 at 1859 UT, KCLI Clinton continues to modulate, partial ID mentions KWEY HD-4(?), 1900 into Fox Sports Radio. This time soon after local mean noon, no CCI from KWHN Fort Smith. KWEY is 1590 in nearby Weatherford, once(?) a competitor yet now jointly owned with KCLI, so there could be some cross-pollination, but is there any such thing as HD-4? Maybe I misheard. Usual references FCC and otherwise do not provide full, or any, info about what`s on all those IBOC subchannels! It seems that neither KCLI nor KWEY has a full FM counterpart, only translators (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 410-MCW kHz, re my log of NDBeacon JU, Harold Frodge agrees that he and Ken Zichi in Michigan have also logged it, not JUH: ``410 JU 1.0 Jefferson NC, Ashe County A/P; 02, 23 Nov, 03 Dec (HF), 04 Nov (KZ,HF)`` --- meaning 2019y? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2020 monitoring: Ivo Ivanov, Bulgaria reports: ``Fair signal of World of Radio#2020 and Shortwave Radiogram#138 on February 8: 1300-1330 on 15770 RMI 100 kW / 044 deg to WeEu English Sat World of Radio #2020`` Also confirmed UT Sun Feb 9 at 0524 UT about 16 minutes into so started very late circa 0508 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, MO. Earlier was good reception direct but later I`m listening via Peoria IL KiwiSDR. Houston AMSAT net recording was playing until 0456 when ARRL News started, so if no WOR was lost, ARRL must have lasted only 12 minutes. Next: 2130 UT Sunday WRMI 7780 0130 UT Monday WRMI 7780 0230 UT Monday WRMI 7780 9395 0400vUT Monday WBCQ 5130v Area 51 0430 UT Monday WRMI 9955 0900 UT Monday Unique Radio NSW 5045-USB 0930 UT Monday Unique Radio NSW 5045-USB [another episode] 1900vUT Monday IRRS 7290 Romania? 0100 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 0900 UT Wednesday Unique Radio NSW 5045-USB 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 2200 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v 0100 UT Thursday WRMI 7780 Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 15825, Feb 9 at 1857, WWCR-1 hits S9+10/20, far more than usual JBA, plenty to audiblize the squeal still spouting from this transmitter: ergo, winter HF sporadic E opening. 15610 WEWN also stronger than usual, S6-S8, getting ready to start with Salve Regina prologue. Lower WWCRs also abnormally strengthened, 13845 S8-S9; 12160 S9+20/30 with `Martha Garvin Musical Memories` after 1900. Then I check the dxmap for Es and some paths show just the right spots between us for MUF blobs of 15 and 28 MHz. In these solar cycle doldrums we cannot even depend on a bigsig daytime from 12160 WWCR. BTW, WWCR program schedules have now been updated as of Feb 1: http://www.wwcr.com/program-guides/WWCR_Program_Guide.pdf (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 1948 UT February 9

Sunday, February 09 2020
** ALASKA. 11755, Feb 8 at 1511, expressive/assertive talk by OM in Russian, presumably gospel huxter, response by YL with some laughter. KNLS is now scheduled here this hour in HFCC as the only 11755 anywhen, anywhere (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** BRAZIL. 9665-9667, Feb 9 at 0142, no signal from Voz Missionária, usually the strongest ZY remaining on 31m; propagation OK since I have a JBA signal on 9818.6 where R. Nove de Julho resides. Aparecida appears on 9630.3 much weaker than VM would be, hetting another weakie on 9630.0 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CANADA. 335-MCW kHz, Feb 8 at 0708 UT, dash and YLD, ND beacon, 1000 watts from Chapleau, Ontario. 351-MCW kHz, Feb 8 at 0710 UT, dash and YKQ, NDB, 500 watts from Fort Rupert - Waskaganish, Quebec. 406-MCW kHz, Feb 8 at 0718 UT, dash and YLJ, NDB 40 watts from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan; noise level is lower in the 400s than the 300s (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) See also USA for two more ** CUBA [and non]. 6145, Feb 8 at 0528, RHC English undermodulated S9+10 mixing about equally with another station, better modulation, i.e. RRI in Romanian this hour intended no further than France. Both would be in clear if RHC had stayed on 6165; but before and after 05-06, would conflict with other Europeans. Meanwhile, 6100 is S9+20/30 but JBM, and so is 6000; 6060 is still in Spanish; and so is 5040 at 0534 and squealing too. 6145, Feb 8 at 0655, S9+10 and undermodulated; 6100 S9+30/40 and UM; 6000 S9+20/30 and suptorted; only 6060 with good modulation and S9+30/40 now in English and so is 5040 and squealing too. Something`s always wrong at RHC ::: (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15230, Feb 8 at 1501, this RHC is S9 but distorted; usually its mod is OK, while // 15140 at S9+30 continues to be distorted. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 13835, 13767, 13633, 13566, 13495 approx. vs CODAR, Feb 8 at 1504, FM/AM spurblobs with F# whine out of 13700-AM RHC, ~67 kHz intervals, but each so wide it`s hard to pin them. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 13610, 13674, 13806 approx., Feb 8 at 2318, FM/AM spurblobs with F# tone at about 65 kHz intervals out of 13740-AM RHC, no doubt same defective transmitter as in the mornings on 13700. Another might be around 13870 but blocked by RTTY. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15370, Feb 8 at 2320, RHC Spanish S9+20 but distorted, OSOB, about the same sound as on mushy // 5040. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 5820, Feb 9 at 0110, VP M&W in English mentioning some www. and music. Nothing listed here and doubt it`s one of those Denmark stations. Rather a leapfrog mixing product of 6180 CRI relay over 6000 RHC another 180 kHz beyond, both Quivicán site per Aoki/NDXC. But neither he nor EiBi will make an entry for this real transmission on 5820. I did not think at the time to check for // audio, but this has been reported before. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 5010-5040, Feb 9 at 0135, Radio Rebelde is splattering out to this range from 5025; while RHC is also splattering out to 5030-5050 from its 5040; axually, can`t tell where one transition to the other between 5025 and 5040. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MEXICO. 6185.7, Feb 8 at 0117, undermodulated talk; 0153 still with jazz, also suptorted, typical of Radio Educación --- and there is no signal on 6185.0. Someone must have bumped the XEPPM transmitter. At least puts it a little further from the collision on 6180 but still getting splashed (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 4045-USB, Feb 9 at 0119, S9+20 of blues, but already off at 0124 check after some other tuning. Many posts here say it`s Ze-ke`s Attic, which moved to 4107 at 0126: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,63065.0.html This thread covers logs on both frequencies. 4107-USB, I independently find him here at 0147, blues? song at S9+10, 0148 DJ Ze-ke recognized saying he`s waiting for a report from the Mojave Desert; 0149 a familiar torch song, which someapp IDs as ``What`s New`` by Billie Holiday (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** PERU. 5980, Feb 8 at 2344, JBA carrier, and like the last few nights I am not hearing any Cuban jamming above the general band noise level. It won`t be long before Radio Chaski cutoff be too much before night here if it stay around this time. At 14 degrees south, its sunset varies only about one hour over the course of a year, as early as 2230 in June, currently 2320; but ours gets later and later, 0005 UT now, a semihour later in a month. Anyhow, tonight the autocutoff comes at 2352:59.5* having surpassed 2353:00. Last check was Feb 3 until 2353:10.5, i.e. 11 seconds later, 5 days earlier, averaging 2.2 seconds earlier per noctem (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [and non]. 5960-, Feb 8 at 2328 no signal from VOT English, only a JBA carrier offset-minus from XJPBS, EAST TURKISTAN, so Mighty KBC may be clear tonight. Oops, 2343 recheck, VOT is on very late with music at S9/+10. 2355 IS is still running; 2356 pause and restart IS, now with one German ID at 2356:48 before cuts off at 2357:45*, just in time for The Mighty Farty KBC, which lux out again (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 379-MCW kHz, Feb 8 at 0712 UT, ND beacon copied as RSE on 380, but nonesuch listed. Probably really RUE, 25 watts in Russellville, Arkansas. 410-MCW kHz, Feb 8 at 0720 UT, ND beacon JU, but nonesuch listed at dxinfocentre. Maybe 25-watt JUH, Jefferson - Ashe, North Carolina. Could it be miskeying? Was not hearing an H. Classaxe.com in fact does show that one as JU only (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2020 monitoring: no confirmation in yet from Ivo or anyone for the Sat 1300 on WRMI 15770. Seems a better signal now than we had been getting from it. Sometime after 0100 Feb 9, it`s GRITS Radio with someone sounding rather like Marion (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 5950, Feb 9 at 0124, WRMI is OFF, a rarity for this 24-hour service; but no help for 5952.4v Bolivia, which is also off despite being Saturday night. If 5950 still off around 0300, would be good for Ethiopia; but I`m busy listening then to `Weekend Radio` on WCLV webcast (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 5085, (and parasitic JBA spurs 5072.1 and 5097.9), UT Sun Feb 9 at 0120, Bob Heil is talking on WTWW-2, evidently just starting his anonymous theatre organ show at very odd time, which I continue to enjoy from one radio to one ear while DXing another radio into the other ear. Ends at 0152 with WTWW ID and promos (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. 1090, Feb 8 at 0700:50 to 0705:30 duration of SRN News hole of dead air after illegal ID as ``AM 1090 KAAY`` failing to specify Little Rock CoL, and before resuming with gospel music. During this, XEAU Monterrey dominant from south, Spanish infomercial making SAH and another very weak unID with music (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** VATICAN. 15460, Feb 8 at 1459-1500* vocoder song, poor. HFCC shows it`s USAGM 14-15 Sat & Sun only in Kin-yarwanda, i.e. VOA via SMG (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0416 UT February 9
