UTwente, humwhine but timesignal cuts thru 1:20 late at 2116:20! 2117
YL undermodulated announcement in English, almost readable with
program summary; 2118 news? Autonotch helps reduce the whine, i.e. vs.
self-QRM rather than external het/QRM, but it also increases
distortion level of what`s left. 2119 talk briefly sounds like another
language, maybe French, why? Not Arabic. English talk mixed with music
so guess not news, yet. 2130 another timesignal, this time only 35
seconds late. Of course only a few seconds of each would be due to
internet delay. Something`s always egregious in Egypt. As far as I
monitor today. Date correct, omitted from last report (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA [and non]. 350 MCW kHz, Aug 11 at 0658 UT, RG, ND beacon
at OKC is back on air after missing yesterday.

341 MCW kHz, Aug 11 at 0700 UT, OIN, ND beacon at OberlIN, Kansas is
JBA but not local EI EnId on same frequency. But by 0703 can hear them
both alternating, JBA; with different periods, at first the three dits
from Enid must have been mixed with those from OIN (Glenn Hauser,
Enid, WOR)

** UKRAINE [non]. 7730, Aug 11 at 0500.5-0507.6, UR1 via WRMI, VG into
Maryland SDR, with `Ukraine: Security Issue` for Aug 10, Day 168 of
Putin`s war; by YL announcer, not the one with perfect English, but
sufficient: they never ID themselves; including: nuclear power plant
concerns, with 6 reactors supplying 20% of Ukraine`s power. IAEA not
so worried? Sham referendum in Kherson for joining Russia. Ukraine`s
counter-offensive could be rapid once fully supplied with weapons

Thursday August 11 at 0130 on WRMI 5010, S6/S8 into Maryland SDR with
storm crashes, but at 0154 better S9/+12 into Bonaire with no

SDR: instead, a DX program in Italian! About Vietnam Democracy Radio.
No, not the late Roberto Scaglione, but RAE which is on new August 7

for FM DX on the caradio, Aug 11 at 1554 UT. Trouble is, tropo is also
way up from OK and KS, boosting many semi-open frequencies with
spoilers. No Es DX heard in next few minutes, but at least a couple
from TX and NE, as in WTFDA FM DB:
