We got another frequency back on the air today. At 1945 UTC we were able to
put Transmitter 6 (9395 kHz) back on the air. The process of repairing the
transmission lines in the antenna field is going rather slowly due to the
extreme muddy and swampy environment. But our crew continues to work in
these conditions to get everything back on the air. We hope to get 9455 kHz
back on tomorrow if all goes well, and then we'll work on others. We'll keep
you advised.

Japanese service of China Radio International announced on March 25 2022
that their medium wave transmission on 1044kHz at 1100-1600UT will be off
the air due to the transmitter maintenance until September 25 2022. Actually
the transmission has been again on air from October 2 2022. The transmission
on 1044kHz is over NRTA Transmitting Station 623 in Henglin town, Wujin
district, Changzhou City, Jangsu province, east of Nanjing, using Harris
DX-1000 transmitter. Maximum power is 1000kW, but WRTH2022 lists as 600kW.
The signal seems to be a little weaker than before. Might they further
reduce the power?
