talkshow on CORUS Radio Network. Just heard 990 CBW so figured CJOB
might be in again, invading America instead of serving the Arctic.
OTOH, non-direxional CBW is always welcome, our only access to CBC
Radio 1 on MW; sometimes lost to auroral zone (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

monthly on third Sat broadcast of `Uncle Bill`s Melting Pot`, this
time with Kurdish music, good into UTwente. Long sets and not much
talk about it, but that`s OK. Scheduling inconvenient, simul with Met
Opera and Talking Machine Show, so I tape delayed this while listening
to the others `live`. Next month: mostly music from the Bahamas (Glenn

going as before circa 1850 UT downtown check Jan 18 (Glenn Hauser,

it thru noise level is FS, 100 watts from Sioux FallS, SD. 420 MCW kHz, Jan 18 at 0737 UT, one other NDB arrival, not new but
somewhat unusual, is PK, 25 watts at Olathe KS (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2278 monitoring: Not confirmed UT Saturday
January 18 at 0400 on WTWW-2, 5085, nor expected as still off the air
awaiting parts from China. #2 does have webcast, but something other
than WOR! Presumably SFAWPPPP [Scriptures for America Worldwide,
passed Pastor Pete Peters]. Confirmed Saturday January 18 at 1550 the 1530 on SW Radio, Germany,
6160.002-, S9/+15 into UTwente, with ACI from Chicom 6165 at S9+10/20,

usual USAGM ACI from 7495. 9330 in WLCR Portuguese is also S7/S9. But
at *0055, 5130 -20 Hz = 5129.980 cuts on with IS & ID, S9/+10. At
0100, 6160 is now on with something else, while 7490- & 5130- join for
WTO theme, and first interjexion, ``couple more days and the world
changes again`` and later one word, ``speed``. Says theme is played
from cassette tape; Angela not yet in the Fla studio. Can`t keep all
the liquor here straight, but Al is not drunk. He does a lot of
reading in the bathroom, has for years. Says simul now on 7 & 5, but a

As for mystery ``new`` frequency, HFCC shows only two BCQs not in use
besides 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9: 13840 & 13850 via Bulgaria at other hours;
