Glenn Hauser logs August 7-8-9, 2022  View Printable Version
Tuesday, August 09 2022

Logs
** CUBA. 6165, Aug 8 at 0621, RHC S9+20 but extremely strange
modulation like amplified whispering, intonation seems English but
unreadable; as if run thru audio filtering at studio or on way to
transmitter. Splatter from that seemed to QRM 6160- WBCQ with WOR two
sesquihours earlier; as those two bad neighbors refuse to distance
themselves (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13629 approx., Aug 8 at 1446, FMish spurblob from RHC 13700
AM; much stronger than the +71 match at 13771; and none further.
Hardly anything else audible on band in depressed propagation: K-index
3 after G2 geomag storms per WWV (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440, Aug 8 at 2142, no signal from R. Cairo into UTwente,
in English sesquihour northwestward. Something`s amiss at Abis (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** FRANCE. 6110-6115-6120, August 8 at 0623, DRM noise, whence? Not
noticed here before. EiBi has 06-07 ``MiniTransAt Sailing`` but not
marked as DRM. Hit by chance without a DRM SDR handy, had been
intending to check as in:
http://hfcc.org/data/schedbybrc.php?seas=A22&broadc=TDF

As Dave Kenny, BDXC pointed out: ``HFCC also lists a schedule of
"Sailor DRM tests" taking place until 30 September:
0000-0100 on 6040 1 Aug-30 Sep
0600-0700 on 6115 9740 19 Jul-30 Sep
1200-1300 on 13730 15535 19 Jul-30 Sep
1800-1900 on 7305 11915 15535 19 Jul-30 Sep
The official web site for the race is at
http://lessables-lesacores650.com
73s Dave Kenny``

The bilingual weather info at 1500-1530 on AM, 13735 & 5975, was
scheduled only until 16 August --- apparently this race is a round
trip back to France; but is there again a truly TA race to follow from
Açores to Caribbean as in previous years?

Via Canary Islands SDR, from 1800 August 8 I am trying the three
listed frequencies: nothing on 15535 or 11915, but on 7305: news in
French, nothing about weather or the race, so regular RFI? Display
shows: S9 signal. ``SNR 22.3v dB; DRM mode: B. Chan: 10 kHz. ILV: L.
SDC: 16 QAM. MSC: 64 QAM. Medium range use, multipath resistant.
Services: 1AAC (1000) DEMO TDF EEP Data 8.08 kbps``. Lo-fi audio with
slight echo. Occasionally drops off in fades below S9.

1810, rechecking the other two frequencies: no DRM, and no DRM noise
audible when tuned in AM mode, beyond considerable same band noise
level on adjacent frequencies. 1829 recheck, some music, ID, and off
the air for good. So not a full hour as registered. As with all Kiwis,
must be very careful handling mouse, lest it change to a totally
unwanted frequency. On the displayed DRM schedule one can find these
not under F for France, but under T for Télédiffusion, of course!
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KIRITIMATI. 846, August 8 at 0610, JBA carrier, presumed R.
Kiribati; no other carriers detected on 9 kHz steps in bottom half of
band, from Eurafrica or Pacific. Wait for equinoxial season (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, August 8 at 2150, REE in `Canciones de Verano` music
show, tuned via UTwente where I have just checked Cairo; did not
expect much signal this path, too close for 16m? 1573 km = 978 miles
from Noblejas to Enschede, yet it`s S9+15/20 but going into deeper and
deeper fades in the Euronight, all set for the alleged resumption of
English. Yes! 2200 timesignal and Justin Coe previews a `DX program`
and some other feature after the news. As to be expected, 15520 is
slightly better; 11940 definitely better peaking S9+20/25. 11670 with
some QRM, maybe Cuba already? 2205 into jazzed up tune, introducing
something theatrical, `El diablo cojuelo` = like `The Limping Demon`,
he and a clownish girlfriend, ``Ido-Loca``, went to see, who also
discusses it in struggling English. 2210 I switch to Maryland SDR
which gets 17855 better. More about clownishness in general, than the
play per se. By 2220, 17855 is fading down even to Maryland, as we
still haven`t completely recovered from G2 storms. Now to 11940
holding up at S9, better than 15520. Wraps up just in time for end of
English 2230! Never gets to mailbag he mentioned at the outset: maybe
on the extended podcast? Not there yet (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830, August 8 at 2234, VOT English, S9/+20 into UTwente,
with continuous lite humbuzz but tolerable in Turkish music, 2236
feature about electricars, 2242 another song, 2248 Did You Know That?
After sign-off schedule, IS from 2355; restart at 2356 then with
German IDs twice a minute. Still on at 2300 timesignal, sign-on bonus
German, same humbuzz as before during news past 2305 tune-out. Recheck
at 2348, it`s still on with ``Wussten Sie dass?`` same theme as `Did
You Know That?`, but I`m distracted and again miss the topic. Sign-off
and 2354 the IS plays again. Will we make it into an extra extra hour,
of Portuguese? 2356 restarts IS, and yes, now with Portuguese IDs
interspersed twice a minute, ``'Stão ouvindo a Rádio TRT --- Voz de
Turquia``. The letters TRT sound like they are pronounced in English,
I realize after trying to understand that word as Portuguese.

August 9 UT 0000, sign-on for a broadcast at 20 horas em Portugal, 16
horas no Brasil = 19 UT, with satellite MHz frequencies and parameters
on various satellites. PP is not scheduled on SW at all per WRTH 2022.
Locutora speaks Luso Portuguese with Tuerkisch accent, harder for me
to understand, and still with the English/German humbuzz. The
sloppyrators must be sound asleep. Something`s always erroneous at
Emirler. But this is a rare opportunity for Brazilians to hear VOT in
Portuguese on SW, if any run across it. By 0007 is talking about
RyanAir flights. Then the nuclear plant threat in Ukraine, so it`s
still part of the news. 0014 to music, usw. 0017 ID and more music.
Still going past 0028 with multilingual ID reel.

I am astounded that some DX clubs or publications have a policy
against publishing results of remote monitoring! This isn`t about me,
somehow cheating to hear more than I am entitled to; rather it`s about
reporting what stations are doing, and if a remote help to hear them
better, or at all, or more conveniently, so be it, as long as so
specified (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** UKRAINE [non]. (7730), August 8 at 0500, missed checking UR1 via
WRMI for `Ukraine: Security Issue` so heard later via:
http://ukr.radio/images/ckeditor/files/files/ENG_NEWS_08_08_22.mp3
including: air raid sirens heard every day; artillery strixe on
Khar`kov residential areas; Russia has mined largest nuclear power
plant in Europe, and shelled radiation monitors, threatens to blow it
up; Turkey setting up plant to build UAVs in Ukraine... (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2150 monitoring: confirmed Sunday
August 7 from 2000.6 on AM Italia, 1323 kHz, S9+15 into nearby Noale
SDR with storm crashes. Blitzortung shows lightning strixe at the NE
and NW corners of Italy and along the Riviera.

Also confirmed Sunday August 7 at 2230 still on WRMI 5950, S9+2 into
Georgia SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday August 8 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S7/9+10 and
noisy into Georgia SDR. A few seconds of overriding heavy noise burst
started at exactly same time, whence?

Also confirmed UT Monday August 8 at 0300 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6160
minus 97 Hz into Maryland SDR, = 6159.903; S7/S8 with strange QRM,
maybe bleed from defective 6165 Cuba, q.v. Next:

0030 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW [confirmed]
2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [jammed by Cuba]
2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW
1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
1100 UT Wednesday Unique R, Australia 5035-USB or 3210-USB
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 9395 to NNW

Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts:
http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html

Thanks this week for financial support from Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ,
Ontario, for some US$ to Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702;
preferably by money order or check on a US bank.

Or via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9455, Aug 8 at 1541, WRMI-5 is S7/S9 but just barely
modulated, with TOMBS? Also cuts off air briefly. Only one shown to be
on WNW 285 degree azimuth (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5130-, UT Monday August 8 at 0202, I tune in WBCQ R. Angela
`Concert Hall` a bit too late, noisy via Maryland remote, none better?
as an opera is already underway. There is nowhere to look up online
what it be, nor any details. There are several wild applause breaks
until it end at 0319, when I again miss the back-announcement, not
turning up the volume fast enough. Then a Mozart piano concerto. I`m
encouraging Uncle Bill to pre-publicize what will be on C.H. each
week. This was part of `Così Fan Tutte`, literally, Thus Do All
Females; idiomatically, Women Are Like That. Bill says next two weeks
will present Wagner`s `Parsifal` in two parts (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5890 & 3215, Monday August 8 at 0636, these WWCRs are off,
having been ON, UT Saturday and Sunday. As per sked, not on overnight
Mon-Fri but yes on Sat & Sun. I had it exactly backwards in my
previous Aug 6 report, which please disregard! I am making too many
mistakes, er, mistaxe (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 93.5, August 7 at 1844 UT, marginal signal with CCI, maybe
some sporadic E DX? Mentions a festival in Victoria! BC is too far for
single hop Es, so is there one in Kansas? Yes, just east of Hays, and
then ``My Country 93.5`` non-ID, so that came from KKDT Burdett KS, my
usual fringer. Several times on Aug 6 & 7, Es MUFs on DXMAPs exceeded
100 MHz, nexus Oklahoma, which means no use here but lots of paths
over and around us: you`re welcome. I was checking just in case any of
that DX could scatter downwards; nope (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU [and non]. 11835, August 8 at 0604, R. Vanuatu must have
just come on, 3 x 3945, YL in Bislama, music, S6/S9 again with beat
from weaker carrier presumed CNR2 fundamental. Need to try that just
before 0600; however, per EiBi, Wed only is time for Xi`an xiesta,
0600-0855. Not in HFCC but WRTH showed 150 kW so remarkable that
whatever few kW from Vanuatu could overcome (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 11940, JBA carrier here August 7 at 1739 - 11940 not a
good choice with Spain all day for S America; and also CRI English
from Kashgar at 16-17. Maybe propagation so poor he doesn`t hear them.
Tnx to tip on WOR iog from Rick Barton, AZ, *of Station YHWH* at 1630
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Glenn Hauser logs August 6-7, 2022  View Printable Version
Sunday, August 07 2022

Logs
** CUBA. 6100, August 7 at 0653, only this RHC is still on with jazz
in English service, steel drum at S9/+10; seems promising for axually
running Esperanto at 0700 Sunday only, but I just can`t stay awake to
confirm (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13632 & 13768 approx., August 7 at 1407, extremely distorted
spurblobs from 13700 AM, RHC Spanish; with F# tone and modulation
readable in FM mode only. Plus/minus 68 kHz; then I search outward on
multiples of that and indeed hear more, progressively weaker, downward
to JBA F# tone: 13564, 13496, 13428, 13360, 13292! At the outset,
13768 weaker than 13632, and likewise not so much upward: just circa
13836. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** UKRAINE [non]. (7730), August 7 at 0500, missed checking UR1 via
WRMI for `Ukraine: Security Issue`, so listened later via:
http://ukr.radio/images/ckeditor/files/files/ENG_NEWS_06_08_22.mp3
this time with well-spoken YL announcer, including: for August 6 = Day
164 of Putin`s war: ``nuclear terrorism`` by Russia, shelling near
nuclear power plant; more shelling against civilian areas of cities;
Russian forces moving toward Kherson area anticipating Ukrainian
resistance; brainwashed Russians think their army is invincible;
conquered neighboring nations provide cannon fodder (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2150 monitoring: slight correxion
to previous item:
Also confirmed UT Saturday August 6 at 0130 on WRMI 9395, S9
undermodulated into Missouri SDR at 9394.954; but 9394.950, S9+15 into
Maryland: averaging 9394.952. First found it JBA into PEI SDR still up
after `BCQ.

Also confirmed UT Sunday August 7 at 0041 the 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9/+5
into Maryland SDR.

Also confirmed UT Sunday August 7 at 0330 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, S6/S7
into nearby MO SDR, about 8 minutes into so started circa 0322.

Also confirmed Sunday August 7 ending at 1357.3 on WMRI Europe, via
Channel 292, Germany, 9670, S4/S6 into NW Ireland SDR. And Neil Gates
of WMRI says SW broadcasts will stop after August 14, but hopes to
resume early next year. Many tnx for carrying WOR! Next:

Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts:

Thanks this week for financial support from Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ,
Ontario, for some US$ to Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702;
preferably by money order or check on a US bank.

Or via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5850, UT Sunday August 7 after 0200, WRMI with nice but not
classical music, fill? following `Encore` at 0100-0200: certainly not
`La Rosa de Tokio`, Argentine media show as scheduled.

9955, August 7 at 0645, no signal from this WRMI, instead of TOMBS
overnight; and no Cuban jamming against nothing, either! New skedgrid
dated Aug 7 shows a number of changes, including WRMI-3, 9955 OFF
between 0400 & 1100. Nothing at all for WRMI-2 on 5985, 24/7 and
WRMI-10, 5800; however, 5800 is now from WRMI-4 at 2200-1100 with
variety of System programming (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5980, Aug 6 at 0640, the WWCR leapfrog mixing product is
back, 5890 TOMBS over 5935 DGS, another 45 kHz higher -- despite it
being a weekend, Sunday, 5890 is again running all night, yet skedgrid
still dated July 1 shows both 5890 and 3215 OFF AIR on Sat & Sun. Not
any more (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU [and non]. 11835, Aug 6 at 0636, RV still active on 3 x
3945, VP signal and with beat from presumed CNR2 also near on 11835
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 11940, JBA carrier here August 7 at 1739 - 11940 not a
good choice with Spain all day for S America; and also CRI English
from Kashgar at 16-17. Maybe propagation so poor he doesn`t hear them.
Tnx to tip on WOR iog from Rick Barton, AZ, at 1630 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15601.076, Aug 7 at 0651, only signal on band, OSOB, is
a just barely audible, JBA, carrier measured here. Fades slightly so
doubt is local birdie. Nothing in Aoki or EiBi on 15600 now. K index
at 0600 was 2, solar flux 116, no storms per WWV (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

Logs
** ANDORRA [non]. 13730, Sat Aug 6 at *2200, Moosbrunn, AUSTRIA
transmitter cuts on sharp with this month`s R. Andorra revival
special; song in unknown language, Catalan? 2203 announcement in
French, language of this show from 1979y. More unfamiliar songs in
French; I guess this is very nostalgic for the Franco/Euros of that
era. Too much else is going on this hour. Recheck 2234, bit of
classical music; 2245 operatic; 2254 a couple novelty songs; bong and
R. Andorra original ID squeezed in just before 2300*. For one hour;
next one on Sept 3 will be two hours. S9+10/30 into Maryland SDR
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RCUSB, Saturday August 6, tune-in Buenos Aires
area remote SDR at 1445, no signal from LRA36 yet, but *1457 cuts on
in song, S4/S6 at first vs S3 noise level, but soon builds up better,
turning up power output? 1458 ID, song, 1500 sign-on with
quadrilingual announcement, in Ciclo 2022 de Esperanza Audaz; staff
names, ``Nacional, la radio pública``, 1502 Antártida themesong, 1506
a bit of history, song; 1510 live greetings, as program #14, clima
info from plus 5 to minus 13 degrees, winds 56 kph; phone numbers and
other contact info; 1514 song ``Es un día perfecto``; 1518 ``su
compañía``; efemérides for week of August 1, ``hoy día, 5 de
agosto``--- implying this was recorded on Friday instead of Wednesday
August 3 when it was AWOL but I did not check on Friday! This has been
inconvenient to monitor during my breakfast time.

More chat with guitar background. 1529 song. 1533 contact info again,
frequencies ``15476`` and FM 96.7 --- I wonder if they run FM much
longer hours than SW? 1535 discussing Escuela #38; 1536 interview
someone from Misiones province which is about as far from Antarctica
as you can get in Argentina. Ends at 1555 to music, just as rapid
buzzclix start QRMing, OTH radar? Until 1600 as I was checking range
of those, not on 15470 but up to 15490. At 1558, ID and more
efemérides. Continues chatting with some guy in studio but too
colloquial and I don`t follow it much. 1622 music; 1632 plugs this
being ``hecho por mujeres``, music and chop off at 1632.7* with no
formal despedida.

Gary Pence also tells me, ``Hi Glenn, Since they started out kinda
weak I thought Half Moon Bay would be awful; but instead it was
decent. Noise floor is S4.5 and they have been between S5 to almost
S7 into southeast antenna, Half Moon Bay, CA SDR`` (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CUBA. 13562, 13631, 13769, 13838 approx., Aug 6 at 1431, spurblobs
out of 13700 AM RHC, extreme distortion with no intelligible audio
even in FM mode but trace of F# tone on plus/minus ~69 kHz and
second-order doubles. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440, August 5 at 2142, no signal from R. Cairo in English
into UTwente, just some ``running water``. Something`s always
egregious in Egypt (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 98.5, August 6 at 2002 UT, tuning across in fruitless
search for Es DX, translator K253BC, caught part of local announcement
with an Enid address: ``20th and East Elm`` --- that`s the location of
Victory Bible Church, HQ of a different station, KVBN-LP 99.9 with
transmitter site much further west. K253BC is supposed to relay KLVV
88.7 Ponca City from yet a different Enid site about halfway between.
A confusing situation might require my further monitoring of these
gospel huxters (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. 5890, August 6 at 0643, TOMBS is on this WWCR
// 5850 & 5800 WRMI; had been taking weekend overnights off 5890 but
this is UT Saturday (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, Friday August 5 at 2200, REE with another episode of
`Canciones Ténebres` in Spanish. We eagerly await the alleged
resumption of M/W/F token English on August 8 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830, August 5 at 2200, no signal from VOT into UTwente,
just weak Chinese and RTTY; also huge splash from 9820 China. 2238
recheck, *now* VOT is on with Turkish music, S9+10/20; 2241 `Did You
Know That?` repeating the brief bit about a Turkish city on the Black
Sea which produces a lot of honey, still can`t perceive its name. Did
it never occur to them that unfamiliar names should be spelt out for
foreign audiences? Over by 2243, back to music. 2253 sign-off schedule
and off at 2255* before IS can play once, let alone any bonus German.

9830.007, August 6 at 2226, S9+40/50 into UTwente with natural
remedies for calluses, such as pineapple peels for seven days, 2231
outro as `Feeling Supreme`. 2251 sign-off with English schedule: omits
frequency for 0300 to N America, just 41 meters, in jumbled
disorganization of that info. IS plays 2252.7 to 2255*, off before
switching to German (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** UKRAINE [non]. 7730, August 6 at 0501-0507, UR1 via WRMI, `Ukraine:
Security Issue`, accented YL with too much original Ukrainian
voice-unders, including: Russian army stalled in Lukhansk, so they
take it out by killing civilians; high death rate in Mariupol
hospitals; 50 kilo of corn going out on three carriers (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2150 monitoring: confirmed Friday
August 5 from 1815 on AM Italia, 1323 kHz only, into Padova SDR, and
on IRRS SW 7290 via Bulgaria, but not audible on x 2 = 14580 this
week, into UTwente, S7/S8 with RTTY warble to be avoided on plus side
by LSB tuning or bandwidth < 1.7 kHz. And Autonotch gets most of it.

Further obs of those: tune in 1323 at 1750, `Shortwave [sic] Report`
with recording of some station --- not on NEXUS/IBA generic program
sked, and not heard other weeks, so just schlepped in as filler. Dan
Roberts wrapping up but not quite finished when chopped off at 1800
for IRRS `SW` ID and Feature Story News; 1805 UN News; 1807 music
fill; 1815 WOR vs music and German talk co-QRM, overcoming peak about
1835, i.e. Romania`s 15 kW minolity service. WOR also on 7290 to 1844
completion, *then* birdcalls and opening fragment of `TUC Radio`
rather than at 1813-1815; but then music fill; 1854 starts
`Counterspin`, another worthwhile half-hour program which we know is
going to get chopped off in a few minutes. From 1857, 7290 has
clunking noises out of China 7295 as IRRS is off already; 1323
continues a bit more of Counterspin, then mixing with music, 1900 tone
maybe from Romania.

WOR 2150 also confirmed Friday August 5 at 2055 the 2030 on AM Italia,
1323, S9+2/3 into Padova SDR with constant buzzing.

Also confirmed UT Saturday August 6 at 0130 on WRMI 9395, S9
undermodulated into Missouri SDR at 9394.954; but 9394.950, S9+15 into
Missouri: averaging 9394.952. First found it JBA into PEI SDR still up
after `BCQ.

Also confirmed UT Saturday August 6 at 0400 on WBCQ Radio Angela,
5129.946, S9/+10 with storm crashes into Maryland SDR.

Also confirmed Saturday August 6 at 1929 about 4 minutes into, so
started circa 1925 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, steady S6.5 into nearby remote.
Also confirmed from 1930 on WRN N America webcast. Still NOT confirmed
Sat 1930 on WRMI 15770 altho still on sked grid, rather some gospel
huxter for several weeks now. Next:

0030 UT Sunday WRMI 7780 to SW
0300vUT Sunday WA0RCR 1860-AM [nominal 0315; as late as 0430]

Thanks this week for financial support from Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ,
Ontario, for some US$ to Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702;
preferably by money order or check on a US bank.

** U S A. (6160), UT Saturday August 6 at 0002 tune-in the Area 51
WBCQ webcast with music not // (7490) webcast as `William Tell
Overture` theme for `AAAWWW` is concluding. Allan says WBCQ is an
antique radio station with old mikes, etc. Then a discussion of early
car radios. Lamenting that today, cars are basically computers with
engines. Refers to LA Times article about distracted driving and rants
against that - so far I am in total agreement. Also says tire dust is
a big pollution problem. Gets almost halfway thru without politix, not
until 0027 blaming all our problems on Democrats.

At 0031 I check the frequencies on PEI remote: 6160 minus 62 Hz now //
= 6159.938; 5130 minus 29 Hz = 5129.971; 7490 minus 71 Hz = 7489.929,
too close to ME and VP; 3265 off. Altho no datestamp heard, so far I
think it`s a new edition, but at 0045 plugging R. Angela sounds
familiar; and 0048 refers to Free Radio Weekly ``#1371 from last
week``, i.e. published July 2! So this is really a rerun of the July 9
edition, and he goes on to mention my CB pirate on 27184+, but you`d
never know where- or who-from or that it was relaying a local legit
station (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** VANUATU [and non]. 11835, August 6 at 0627, RV is on with music,
S7/S9, but BFO shows a carrier beat from a second station. Incredibly,
Aoki does not list anystation anywhen on 11835; but EiBi has both
Vanuatu and CNR2 China Business Radio from site-x (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
