S9/+10, transmitter mistuned to 2 x 5040 instead of 1 x 5040 where
there be but a JBA carrier. One should keep checking for this and

** U S A. 4980, Dec 7 at 0205, WRMI reactivated here after months of
absence, S9+20/30 of music; 0206 talking English about Ukraine with
frequencies 9940, 5085 and a third one I missed but not this one. Of
course 9940 & 5085 were kaput WTWW, and yes, still vacant; ``Greatest
hits of all time --- WRMI Legacy``; 0218 plug for BGEA, and instant
requests via wrmilegends.com This is // weaker 9455, one of the
original frequencies for ex-WTWW. Skedgrid now dated Dec 6 shows 4980
as WRMI-4, 160 degrees with System C Legends at 0200-0500, along with
WRMI-5, 285 degrees with same at 0000-0400 --- but none of that on the
System C sked below!

Ivo Ivanov, Observer, Bulgaria had first reported 4980 resumed the

** U S A. From George McClintock ``WTWW Priority work as of
12-3-2022``

1. Put resin in # 1 & 2 Tanks.
2. Clean # 1 matching device, lubricate and find cover (if possible).
3. Remove # 2 matching cover and clean/lubricate... replace cover.
4. Replace found switching modules in # 1 transmitter existing power
modules.
5. Repair, in good condition, one but parts removed from power module,
# 1.
6. Replace 2 metal tuning rods in # 2 transmitter. (I have never had a
reason to do so and do not exactly know how to).
7. Replace rusted filters in Harris SW100 transmitter. (Mounting was
bent when taking rusted filters out).
8. Connect motor to capacitor in # 3 transmitter.
9. Replace light bulbs in both #1 & 2 transmitters.
10. Hook up water level sensors on #1 & 2 transmitters which have been
disconnected by the previous engineer.
11. Have DTC install their modem and connect internet to transmitter
remote control and computers.
12. Install switching modules in # 2 & 1 power modules(when they are
received in the mail from China).
13. Repair 3 serious water leaks in # 2 transmitter.
14. Fix door in # 2 transmitter that will not open.
15. Continue to check out for good # 1 control cards.
16. If the above is not enough I have more problems that need
fixing.``

at 0211: only 855 kHz detected, presumably Spain. I don`t usually
check at this earlier hour with all of Europe, Africa and western Asia
in darkness, when you`d expect a lot more showing (Glenn Hauser, OK,

Kiribati audible at another check 0719. Gary Pence has been detecting
846 as early as 0345 UT Dec 4 into Oahu SDR, 1175 nautical miles to
the north, which is 31 minutes before London sunset (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** TURKEY [and non]. 5960.000, Dec 6 at *2300, VOT cut on just in time
for TS, not IS, so that it does not overlap with BBC English via OMAN
which cuts off at 2259.5*; into UTwente at S9+35/40 but undermodulated
compared to BBC as I have to turn volume up to max. Suppressed by
simulcarrier from EAST TURKISTAN, std denunciation, but no modulation
from it until 2311. VOT starts with complete English schedule, except
the times I notice, 22-23 and 03-04 UT, are WRONG, like during
A-season one hour earlier than now; so probably they were all
announced wrong and frequencies as well. Something`s always awry at

CCCCCCI well under but still an annoyance. 2316 song break, just as we

directional Antenna only 2 stations heard on 19meters at this time
Botswana relay of VOA and RNZI New Zealand. Local time in New Hampshire is
Midnight +45minutes.

9700 khz (0558z-0606z) VOT Speaking Turkish playing music with a ID
at ToH fallowed by news until 0606z with a S9+5db Signal into KC9FFV

3945 khz R.Vanuatu om and YL broadcasting news and current events with
the weakest signal on 3945 khz of S4 in the noise level plus S7,S9 QRN
static crashes with a little better signal on 7890 khz of S6, QRN not as
much as 90 meter sig.but 11835 khz signal the strongest and clearest at S8
mostly in the clear almost as if they are tuned to the
25 meter band you would never guess that its a hamonicx.They are speaking
Bislama with some promo,s in english.Signals copied into
