** CUBA. 11760, Sunday April 7 at 1501, RHC Esperanto
overmodulated/distorted here at S9/+20 // 15140 S8/S9 but mod OK,
canned s/on info with usual mispronunciations, and wrong sked still
winter timings, claiming Sundays at 08 on 6100, 16 on 11760-only --
and a third time I never can copy, but I think on a 17 MHz frequency
where RHC never appears. Io ĉiam misas ĉe RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MALI. 5995, April 7 at 0625, again no signal from ORTM. If anyone
ever hear them again on 5995, or 9635, let it be known. Not in latest
A24 HFCC April 4, but was absent from B23 HFCC too. Far too many
`domestic` SW services shun HFCC, tho it could help protect their
frequencies (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6930 USB, April 7 at 0127, pirate rock music S9;
0149 SSTV beepery; 0151 nim or birdcalls; 0152 music; 0202 vamping
music. No announcements heard but I am switching around with two other
simulpirates. More logs here with SSTV and waterfall images, as Bad
Dog Radio:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,128201.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6920 USB, April 7 at 0128, pirate rock music, S9+10
so somewhat stronger than the other two. 0130 wolf? howl or is it a
bird. 0137 owl hoots? and ``un-I-D Radio``? as ID. 0153 synth voice
reading reception report, unID or not? 0200 another synth voice report
and off*. Maybe an ID in there I can`t understand. More logs here as
``AN ID Radio``:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,128203.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6875 USB, April 7 at 0129, pirate rock music, S9+5
so weaker than 6920 but stronger than 6930. 0130 Motel 6 ad, or
parody? Address for reports to Radio 48. 0134 ``This free radio
station closing down`` with boings, then Mix Radio International ID
and continues with music. But off at next check 0155. More logs here
from much earlier, last one at 0134 on page 2:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,128188.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 27184.8, April 7 at 0059, turn radio back on tuned to
here and local Enid CB pirate is again/still on, 0101 ID for KYLV 88.9
OKC, i.e. off the // K288FX 105.5 translator as in previous report at
1830 April 6. Next check April 7 at 1453, steady S8 carrier, no mod,
on 27184.8 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2237 monitoring: confirmed UT
Sunday April 7 at 0000 on WRMI 9955, S9 above Cuban pulse jamming into
Bonaire SDR; S3/S7 into Mendoza SDR, no jamming audible.

Also confirmed UT Sunday April 7 at 0321 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, about
6 minutes into so started close to nominal 0315; but audio skipping
via nearby SDR, often a defect; while playing better into Peoria.

Probably another TDF FRANCE test, in HFCC registered here irr. only at

World of Radio Hitlist Update

Hi Glenn, my latest Hitlist update.
https://www.w4uvh.net/hitlist.htm

1) Updated UTC offset notation for end of DST in New Zealand (RNZ)
2) Romania - RRI: Removed links to programme grids in English and
Romanian - both return server error, and have done so for many months
3) Switzerland - C M Obrecht Radio: Added entry
4) Taiwan - RTI: Updated link to new RTI program schedule effective 1
April
5) Ukraine - RUI: Updated links to Home and On-demand pages, and added
alternate link for live stream (with thanks to Alexander Miatlikov in
WORiog mail list)
6) USA - WRMI: Added link to Guero's useful alternative layout of the
WRMI sked grid (thanks to Guero for permission to use); also added
link to WRMI programme summaries

The next update is scheduled for early May.
Best wishes and 73, Alan Roe

** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, April 6 at 2207 tune-in via Buenos
Aires remote, S8 phone tones SFX from LRA36 in contact info, ID,
regular Saturday broadcast. Seems like another chaotic, soon unheard
and 2224 check definitely off, just S3/S5 noise level. Still nothing
audible at 2300, but a JBV trace on the waterfall! That SDR must have
failed, since it is audible when I move to Mendoza tho only S3/S4,
Spanish too weak for easy listening. And after 2300 there is some ACI
from that ChiCom on 15480. Before 2335, no LRA36 detectable there
either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5800, April 6 at 0630, pulse jamming against nothing, since
WRMI ruined the frequency by putting some exile programming on it
briefly months ago. Skedgrid now shows nothing needing to be jammed,
especially when WRMI is off (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MALI. 5995, April 6 at 0632, no signal nor noise from ORTM direct.
Richard Langley says it`s also off at 1745 when hoping to record
weekly Saturday English. Wolfgang Bueschel suggests absence may be due
to Ramadan; well, it had been going and coming. Ramadan ends around
April 9 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 27184.8 AM, April 6 at 1830, gospel music broadcaster
relayed by local CB pirate - only S8/S9, weaker than last time when it
was // 105.5 so I check that first, and it`s a match again, K288FX
translator which in turn is allegedly a relay of ``K-Love``, KYLV 88.9
OKC. No skip QRM for a change on this busy channel; nor do I hear any
10m ham beacons on a quick scan. MUF must be down, not even sporadic
E? 6m DXMAP shows 71 MHz somewhere in NAm, but scattered spots are
below 27 MHz. I routinely check 27185 almost every day. BTW the WTFDA
FM Database is offline, rather DreamHost displays: ``db.wtfda.org is
almost here! Upload your website to get started.`` Huh? Surely not my
website. Still sidetracking thus at 2340 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785.009, April 6 at 2206, VOT English, VG S9+25/35 into
UTwente. Lots of unID music. 2234-2236 `Turkey`s Geomarked [sic]
Products`, sounds like ``catsworth keeper`` something to do with
polishing oxcarts - another failure to communicate to an English
audience, not spelling out unfamiliar stuff. 2236 more music, really
nice with good modulation at least. 2251 multi-lingual ID filler reel.
2253 s/off as if the 1330-1430 on 13635. That`s multiply wrong,
outdated B23 emission. They should at least pretend this is the A24 at
1230 on 17620, as already accomplished some days. Something`s always
awry at Ankara. IS played one sesquitime and chopoff at 2254.8*, no
finesse. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2237 monitoring: confirmed UT
Saturday April 6 at 0130 on WRMI 5850, S9+25/35 direct.

Also confirmed UT Saturday April 6 at 0400 on WTWW 5085, S9/+10 into
NH SDR. 0429 to strange bit of music, unseems religious to off at
0430.8* without outro ID or any s/off announcement. I am pleased about
how reliably and precisely WOR has been aired each week.

Also confirmed Saturday April 6 at 1456 the now 1430 on SW Radio,
Germany, 6160.000, S9+5 into UTwente.

Also confirmed Saturday April 6 the now 1600 on WRN North America
webcast.

Also confirmed Saturday April 6 at 1732 the now 1730 on SW Radio,
Germany, 6160.000 S9/+15 and a few words behind on 3975.000, S9+5,
both into UTwente. Next:

Also confirmed Saturday April 6 from 1938 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM,
Wentzville MO, S9+18 into nearby Warrenton SDR.

Also confirmed Saturday April 6 until 1959 the 1930s on WRMI stream,
WRN North America stream; and from 2000 on WRN Europe stream. Next:

Typo on header of previous report: April 4, 2024, not 2023

** CANADA. 15034 USB, April 5 at 1527, Trenton Military, ``no report
received`` several in a row. Other random acrosstunes lately, also
6754 USB at night, hit nothing received. Is it completely unfunxional
yet again? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5025, April 5 at 0709, S9+40 of dead air in Spanish; thus
can`t be positive whether it`s not R. Rebelde, not RHC, or even not
Habana Radio. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** KUWAIT. 15540, April 5 at 1820, checking for the alleged 18-21 UT
English from R. Kuwait: NO signal, AM nor DRM, into Kuwait SDR;
UTwente seems to have an S7 open carrier with het, synchlocking onto
15540.129, who knows what (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MALI. 5995, April 5 at 0711, no signal from ORTM, not even noise
blob (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, Friday April 5 at 2200, token English from SNR,
S9+20/40 direct, feature preview to be about World Health Day, but I
don`t have time to listen (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TAJIKISTAN [and non]. 13809.917, April 5 at 1532, two stations
mixing making low audible heterodyne. Per Aoki A24, RFA Chinese via
Dushanbe at 15-17, but which one is the jammer? Into UTwente at 1647
same horrible mix but synchlox onto frequency as measured above.
Jammer off at 1700* after CNR1 timesignal, victim off a few seconds
later (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 17815, April 5 at 1525, S9/+20 in Turkish, the SSOB >
17790, 17600. TRT now sked 13-16, 500 kW, 310 degrees for W Europe but
also USward (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785.009, April 5 at 2200, VOT English S9+20/30 direct but
vs high local line noise level. At 2232 I`m on UTwente when measured,
S9+40, `Turkish Folk Tale` with a moral about doing good. 2237 music.
2241 `That`s Why`, the badax about greeting each other, salaam, music.
2250 multi-lingual ID filler reel. 2252 s/off, 2253 IS to 2255* (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Line noise level abated somewhat on SW, but still severe on
MW and worst on LW; yet a couple are JBA from the periphery, April 5
at 0701 UT, 305 kHz RO, ROswell NM; and 326 kHz, MA, MidlAnd TX; both
400 watts per RNA Signals List (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2237 monitoring: Confirmed Friday
April 5 at 2030 on IRRS via AM Italia, 1323 kHz, S8/S9 into UTwente,
with some ACI from 1314. Since this was off the air last week, I was
concerned so checked earlier at 1830 when it was on with timesignal,
IRRS ID and Feature Story News. Also before 2030 it was AWR
`Wavescan`.

Also confirmed first SW airing, Friday April 5 at 2200 on WRMI 9955,
under S9+20 line noise level direct.

Confirmed new time of Friday April 5 at 2230 on SW Radio, Germany,
3975.002, S9+10 into UTwente - except last week`s #2236 was still
replaying. I hope they will get the new one on ASAP henceforth. Next:
