![Hauser](http://www.hard-core-dx.com/images/hcdx/wor.gif) ** CUBA. 4747 & 4783 approx., Aug 26 at 0207, scratchy spurs from R. Progreso 4765 are JBA into Bonaire SDR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 5025, Aug 26 at 0606, R. Rebelde is OFF! Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba. See also unID 10080 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MADAGASCAR. 6179.950, Aug 26 at 0328, several La Voz Alegre IDs, i.e. Madagascar World Voice in Spanish, S7-S9. Habitually off-frequency elsewhere too (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MADAGASCAR. 13760, Aug 26 at 0338, pop music in English, gospel? Soon starts plugging the Bible, S7-S9. MWV is scheduled here. They have two totally different English programs, ``African Pathways Radio`` and `relay` of KNLS New Life Station, Alaska. WRTH does not specify which hours are which! Nor does Aoki. EiBi shows APR for this, but also for the other 3 English broadcasts, no KNLS! HFCC shows 13760 is aimed 40 degrees for Asian CIRAFs, so that makes it NLS, not APR. BTW, VOK also scheduled to start all-day usage of 13760 from 0300, and whenever heard, not now, it`s been off-frequency about 13760.2. Did not notice any offfrequenciness for this MWV (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2100 monitoring: ``SECRETLAND(non) [sic] Reception of GH's DX PX World of Radio #2100 on 7290 via SPL Secretbrod [Kostinbrod, BULGARIA], August 21 [Sat]: 1800-1830 on 7290 SCB 050 kW / 306 deg to WeEu English. At 0152 via Bonaire SDR, VG S9/+15. WOR 2101 should be ready to start UT Fri Aug 27 at 0130 on WRMIs 5850 & 7780 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 4980 & 4975 & 5800, Aug 26 at 0607, WRMIs 4 & 10 are OFF, two fewer frequencies for TOMBS. All other scheduled WRMI remain on (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 9385, Aug 26 at 0613, no signal from WEWN English; also missing a few hours earlier (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 4780v, Aug 26 at 0208, while checking the Progreso spur circa 4783, via Bonaire SDR, I also detect a JBA carrier here, not a known currently active SWBC frequency. Of course first comes to mind DJIBOUTI, could it be reactivated? But old sign-on time was 0300. DBS of April 2016 showed it last heard in Feb 2015. Last log of it I can find was presumed by Harold Frodge, MI, MARE in the 21 and 22 UT hours of December 2014. 4780 does not compute as a MW harmonic of any `even` frequency. We recall that the 2020 WRTH, not 2021, listed some Future Plans in PERU, including 4780: OAW7I, Calle Monjaspata 745, 08001 Cusco; no further info and apparently never appeared, until now?? The carrier is somewhat unstable; could be a ute, but I think more likely it`s a minus 10 kHz spur out of 4790 WBCQ. Bonaire SAM shows carrier offset of +125/140 Hz (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 10080, Aug 26 at 0605, JBA carrier as I am checking for R. Vanuatu, 2 x 5040. Fundamental however is totally blocked by RHC at S9+10, on air later than usual. However2, others report Vanuatu was absent this date from 5040 or any other frequency. So probably another RHC harmonic, where I`ve never logged it before for sure (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 15770, Aug 26 at 0339, JBA carrier. Could it be WRMI-9 which supposedly runs 1100-0200 only? Yet per HFCC it`s registered available 24 hours. Nothing else ever on frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNSOLICITED TESTIMONIALS Hello, Glenn — I’m a fellow DXer, mostly NDBs, BCB, FM, living in SW PA, 50 miles from Pittsburgh. I always enjoy reading your reports in the IRCA email, for their thoroughness, perceptiveness, and your sense of humor! ![Hauser](http://www.hard-core-dx.com/images/hcdx/wor.gif) ** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98-RCUSB, Aug 25 at 1455 check, another Wednesday with no signal from LRA36 into Brazilian SDR; recheck at 1807 via another one, still no signal (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 6165 & 5040, Aug 25 at 0515, RHC English is OFF these already, while 6000 & 6100 are sufficiently on, and 6060 marred by that humbuzz. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** KIRITIMATI. 846 kHz, Aug 25 at 0612, JBA carrier, presumed R. Kiribati as usual; too late now for any other 9 kHz splits from Europe; and too early for any further Pacificans? I usually also check 1098 for Marshalls (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) But on SW: see SOLOMONS, VANUATU ** NORTH AMERICA. 11840, Aug 25 at 1530, Station YHWH with good S7-S8 signal into VE6JY #3 Kiwi as before, tnx to tip from Rick Barton who was hearing him well direct to AZ. 100% readable for me, earnest proclamation of one true myth to replace another. 1556 ID and seems to be signing off but keeps going, Yahweh coming soon to establish a worldwide theocracy, whoopee. ``Exposing fake demon hybrid man-god Jesus Christ``. Blames homosexual, pedophiliac Catholic church. 1608 Josiah Elias [accent both on the long-I] wrapping up again, now up to S9/+10, introduces ``Days of Hard Life`` themetune, 1610.5 cut back on to more preaching until owner-operator of ``longest-running pirate radio station in the world`` finally finishes and turns off at 1612* (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 1170, Aug 25 at 0606 UT, KFAQ with ``Talk Radio 11-70`` slogan still. Have not paid any attention in daytime whether switching to sports blitz (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. RF channels 8, 10, 11, 20, 26 and 34, Aug 25 at 1528 UT, only BAD signals into STB, correlating with a bit of tropo from Tulsa market, as implied by maps (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** SOLOMON ISLANDS. 5020, Aug 25 at 0557, JBA carrier much like 5040 Vanuatu, SIBC presumed. Maybe back to making usual switch from 9545 at 0500. Still past 0623 as is ACI from 5025 Cuba. However, Honiara sunset not until 0719 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. 15520, Aug 25 at 2206, yet more dead air in English, S3-S7 via Maryland SDR, while the others are modulating, best 11940 S8/9+10, then 17855 S8-S9, last 11670 S5-S7; 2208 into rock music after ID as ``English service of Spanish National Radio``. No longer known as Radio Exterior de España? As still heading its WRTH 2021 entry (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 9830, Aug 25 at 2208, VOT English is not AWOL today, S9/+15 into Maryland SDR (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 4095+, Aug 25 at 0609, sweeps upward alternating with brief CW, probably DW for Desert Whooper. Still JBA vs high storm noise level. The Team at DW says exact frequency is 4095.65; and beware of similar beacons very near same frequency. 4102+, Aug 25 at 0610, JBA CW, presumed the W beacon also in the southwest desert (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2100 monitoring: zzz Wed Aug 25 at 1030 on WRMI 5850; did anyone hear it? Confirmed Wed Aug 25 at 2100 on WRMI 7780, S7-S8 into Maryland SDR; and 21 seconds later slightly better S8-S9 on WBCQ 7490 minus 160 Hz = 7489.84. Next and last: 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html Our non-commercial broadcasts and website depend on voluntary support; via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com One may also contribute by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA. Next new WOR 2101 should be ready by early UT Fri Aug 27 for first broadcasts at 0130 on WRMIs 5850 & 7780 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** VANUATU. 5040, Aug 25 at 0557, JBA carrier, after RHC begone, and still past 0623. Must be R. Vanuatu, reported reactivated here as of August 24 by Lúcio Bobrowiec, Brasil after missing a month from any frequency, then also by Bryan Clark, NZ and Ron Howard, California; and Ivo Ivanov using remotes suggests they are staying on 5040 at all times. As soon as I heard 5040 I checked for second harmonic 10080 but nothing there. Same? transmitter when on 3945 would harmonicize persistently on 7890 and 11835, even 15780. Sunset at Port Vila 0639, not the exact SW site of Emten Lagoon, Efate (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0005 UT August 26

![Hauser](http://www.hard-core-dx.com/images/hcdx/wor.gif) ** CHINA. CNR1 jammer survey in full continuous bandscan down from 19 to 10 MHz, Aug 24 from 2331 to 2340: 16160 JBA fluttery carrier vs CODAR; 16100 same; 15970 slightly stronger JBA; 15760 Chinese S0/S2; 15360 Chinese? S2/S4; 14920 S2/S3 flutter, 13130 JBA carrier. All of these correlate with jammers against Sound of Hope, in Aoki/NDXC.
15600, Aug 24 at 2334, S0/S2 music with flutter during CNR1 jammer survey. This one is CRI in ``Portuguese`` via Beijing site, so should match Cuban relay on 13650 music-only with much better signal (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** FRANCE. 21690, Aug 24 at 1546, JBA via RSA remote, RFI hour in Swahili, which for S-21, from Sept 5, is moving on up to 25775. Should be a useful MUF pilot even off the back to NAm, 500 kW more than a Danish experiment (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. From: Radio Insight (2021-08-04) via Steve Whitt, UK, MW News Editor https://radioinsight.com/headlines/211372/kfaq-tulsa-to-flip-to-sports/ ``Griffin Communications will flip News/Talk “TalkRadio 1170” KFAQ Tulsa to Sports “The Blitz” on Monday, August 23. The new format will be led by Jeremie ‘Pop’ Poplin, who has served as Program Director and 10am-12pm host on KFAQ since February 2020. Poplin previously programmed and hosted afternoons at iHeartMedia Sports “1430 The Buzz” KTBZ and “1300 The Buzz” KAKC Tulsa. Poplin tweeted that the Blitz will feature local programming from 6am to 6pm, but has not disclosed what that will entail. KFAQ will continue to serve as the Tulsa affiliate for Oklahoma State University sports and Jenks High School football. The “Blitz” name comes from the weekly “Oklahoma Sports Blitz” that airs on Griffin’s CBS television affiliates KWTV Oklahoma City and KOTV Tulsa on Sunday evenings. [….]`` So will 1300 and/or 1430 be flipping away from stupid ballgames? KFAQ is still running IBOC noise vs KSL 1160 and whatever on 1180. Maybe will still be `C2CAM` overnight? Glenn, Enid On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, 11:17:44 AM GMT+1, Mauno_Ritola, Finland, asked: ``Was this cancelled or postponed? Just heard this via Kansas KiwiSDR: Thanks, Mauno`` [i.e. Talk Radio slogan still] Re: [WOR] KFAQ 1170 Tulsa flipping from talk to sports Aug 24 at 0626 UT, I am still hearing `C2CAM` on KFAQ. 0633 joint ID for HD2 on KHTT 106.9 Muskogee. Aug 24 at 1520 UT, woman talking about Olympix history, sports or not? No, 1525 that`s on syndicated show, `Our American Stories`, then ``Talk Radio 1170`` ID and local ads, referring to http://www.talkradio1170.com/ which is still very much alive with listen link. Cursorily I don`t see anything about a format change there. Next topic after 1532 is Cuban revolution. Odd time for `OAS`, usually appearing as overnight filler. Own schedule has it but not at this time: http://www.talkradio1170.com/story/5fad99bf8b141111c23d0b53/weekdays-line-up so evidently filling in for whatever. Still in transition? In fact as the RI story says, Pop Poplin himself is supposed to be on already during this bihour per the sked (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 1210 kHz, Aug 24 at 0635 UT, S9/+10 from KGYN Guymon, apparently as often, not on night pattern protecting Philadelphia: ``The Big Talker, KGYN 1210 & 106.3, for the Five States``. How modest; even on proper night pattern they cover a lot more than 5; but who cares about skywave? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U K. 11253-USB, Aug 24 at 2343, VOLMET by RoboYL, VP and can`t copy locations but the one here is RAF. EiBi keys the ``ic`` site as: ``ic-one of: Inskip (Lancashire) 53N50-02W50 / St.Eval (Cornwall) 50N29-05W00 / Crimond (Aberdeenshire) 57N37-01W53`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. ![Hauser](http://www.hard-core-dx.com/images/hcdx/wor.gif) ** CHINA. 10960, Aug 23 at 1351, CNR1 jammer in Chinese at S4-S6, only one audible in the 10s-11s or 12s-13s (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** CUBA. 4747 & 4783 approx., Aug 24 at 0035, scratchy matching spurs 17/18 kHz both sides of 4765, R. Progreso; barely audible vs storm noise level, lower one also QRMing CODAR. An undated item in disgraced FB via SW Bulletin refers to RP being off the air ``this evening`` for maintenance. Maybe that was UT Aug 11 when I found 4765 missing as were the spurs. But now it`s clear they did not fix them and may well not even know about them. Stations do not read my monitoring at their own risks (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. 15520, Aug 23 at 2201, REE is *still* diffusing dead air on its Mideast transmitter, S6-S7 into Maryland SDR, while the other three are nominal with token English on Monday, 17855, 11940, 11670. 15520 DA first noticed Aug 15, and ever since whenever checked. Something`s always nonsensical at Noblejas. Claudio Galaz, Chile also reported 15520 as ``portadora`` = carrier only, Aug 22 at 2036. Stations do not read my own monitoring at their own risks (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 9830, Aug 23 at 2201, no signal from VOT English into Maryland SDR; but recheck 2232, now it`s on with music at S9+10/20, unknown how late it came on. Stations do not read my own monitoring at their own risks. 2237 the multilingual ID reel, always a good 2-minute filler. After some IS iterations, off at 2254.7*. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2100 monitoring: confirmed Sunday August 22 at 2010 the 2000 on IRRS SW via Italia AM, 918 kHz, S9+22 into Noale SDR. Also confirmed Sun Aug 22 at 2230 on WRMI 9955, S9+5 into Maryland SDR. Also confirmed UT Mon Aug 23 at 0030 on WRMI 7730, VG direct. Also confirmed UT Mon Aug 23 at 0130 on WRN N American webcast. Also confirmed UT Mon Aug 23 at 0230 on WRMIs 7780, S9+15 and 5800, S8/S9, the lower with storm crashes, into Maryland SDR. Also confirmed UT Mon Aug 23 from 0301 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6160 minus 54 Hz, S9 into Maryland remote; but with ACI from 6165 Cuba even when tuned in LSB. Recheck at 0320, 6160 is OFF THE AIR! WOR continues on A51 webcast. I leave SDreceiver running on 6160, and WBCQ does not pop back on air until *0415 with Brother HyStairical, so HRI was also missed. Meanwhile, 9330-, 7490- and 4790- the other BCQs remained on air, but not 3265. Next WOR airings, no more Monday nor Tuesday, but: 1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW 2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 to NE 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html Our non-commercial broadcasts and website depend on voluntary support; via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to woradio at yahoo.com One may also contribute by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1090, Aug 20 at 0600 UT, during the KAAY deadair, besides the Fox Sports affiliate, believed WAQE Wisconsin, I neglected to say that I also heard Baltimore mentioned, so perhaps WBAL. Of course, all other 1090s should be forbidden ever to mention Baltimore, to facilitate presumed IDing (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 1150, Aug 23 at 0636 UT, C2CAM via dominant KSAL Salina KS, also with a quick reverb/echo indicating a second station with it. No longer doing that during a local? commercial, but no sign of any other audio now. C2CAM affiliate list shows seven others on 1150, in WI, LA, FL, OR, OH, MO and WA. Closests would be KRMS Osage Beach MO, and WJBO Bâton Rouge LA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 10840.45-USB, approx., Aug 23 at 1353, JBA 2-way unseems Spanish, maybe Tagalog or Indonesian (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0057 UT August 24
