** ANTARCTICA [non]. All set for the annual BBCWS Midwinter broadcast
to Antarctica, June 21 at 2126 tune-in to Woofferton 12065 via LU4AA
remote near Buenos Aires. Cuts on at *2129 with tone S9+10 easily
overcoming noise level, so I stay here and do not even check the other
frequencies as I do not want to miss anything. Initially, all four RX
at this Kiwi are tuned to one BBC frequency or another, but the rest
go and come.

2130 opening by hostess Cerys Matthws - Welsh, pronounced Care-iss,
Calling Antarctica, especially all 32 over-winterers at Rothera
station on the Peninsula - pronounced Ráw-dher-a. Interview woman
formerly there, about strange dreams; acknowledging other nations`
stations, notably Ukrainian. 2133 messages to South Georgia, bit of
music, from family voices, at King Edward station and another one.
2135 greeting from an explorer. 2136 bit of Taylor Swift song for SG;
greeting in French; limerick in English; heavy French accent in
English; unison in English.

2139 Sir David Attenborough assures it`s still sunny in Surrey; a new
research ship has been named for him. 2140 ID, msg from Director of
British Antarctic Survey, Prof. Jane Francis. 2142 greetings to the 32
at Rothera, from many family members. Details hard to understand over
phone, accents, but no doubt the relatives recognise them. Ex-Rotheran
tells about research there under ice, where one hears ice cracking,
wails of Weddell seals. Ice cliffs are breaking and glaciers receding
due to climate change.

More family greetings including from kids; 2154 poem; 2157 final
message; 2159 music and credits to 2200*. Starting at 2145 and at
least thrice I see on the waterfall a JBV diagonal trace upward from
10? to 26 MHz, i.e. an ionosonde. Tnx for another enjoyable special,
which no doubt will soon be available online for those who missed it
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 9670.003, June 21 at 0636, JBA S3 signal, surely R. Voz
Missionária finally breaking the 9670 barrier, as no carrier lower to
9665 and nothing else including Channel 292, Germany, normally audible
at this hour. John Hudak, Ontario, tells the WOR iog about monitoring
RVM extensively several hours previous when it was jumping around all
over from just below 9665 to almost 9670 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13632 approx., June 21 at 1427, RHC spurblob with F# tone out
of 13700 transmitter. Also traces about 13769 and 13564. Something`s
always wrong at RHC.

In previous report, I calculated hypothetical second-order spurs at
the wrong intervals from 13700, using the old log instead of the new
one. Should have been ``circa 13556 & 13844`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** MEXICO. 6185, June 21 at 0636, XEPPM reactivated with music, S9+10.
They had been awaiting a replacement part since last on air May 15 or
16. I had hoped they would build back better, but resumes
undermodulation and slightly off-frequency at 6184.97. Believe this is
first time back as I have been checking every night. Manuel Méndez,
Spain, and Eric Fetters-Walp, Washington were also hearing it earlier
this evening. Resumes being the only remaining active SWBC station in
México or Central America: we must treasure it (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 97.5, June 21 at 0229 UT, ``Tulsa`s Rocklahoma station,
97-5, KMOD``. Per WTFDA, normal slogan is ``Tulsa`s Rock station``,
but Rocklahoma music festival is coming Sept 2-4 near Pryor. Run
across during bandscan for possible Es DX --- as I did several times
June 20/UT 21 spurred by 100+ MHz MUFs here and there per DXMAP, but
never any such DX making it here (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2143 monitoring: confirmed UT
Tuesday June 21 at 0030 on WRMI 9395, S9+30 into Missouri SDR, at 0047
down to S9+10/20. BUT usual // 9455 playing classic rock music
instead! Segués with only one brief nondescript DJ announcement at
0038 mentioning hits from year 1965, program unknown. 0100 switch to
SMTV.

This is a totally confusing situation. WRMI websked now dated June 18
at top now shows 00-01 on 9455 as deep purple System C, which
otherwise pertains to VOA and R. Svoboda relays for/about Ukraine. But
the C program grid does not show anything at this hour, rather System
G still with WOR on both at 0030 UT Tue and Thu. So same situation
presumably applies to same scheduling at 0030 UT Thursdays. Next:

2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [jammed by Cuba]
2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW
1000 UT Wednesday Unique R, Australia 5035-USB or 3210-USB
1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 9455? to WNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 9395 to NNW

Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts:

appreciated, thanks this week to Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ, Ontario for some

** VANUATU. 11835, June 21 at 0638, RV music, S5/S8 and JBA on 7890 =
third and second harmonix of 3945 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Happy solstice! This report dispatched at 2223 UT June 21

** CUBA. 5040, June 20 at 0339, on the Maryland remote waterfall tuned
to WBCQ 5130v, I notice that this RHC frequency is absent, while 5025
and 4765 are still on, the latter R. Progreso with jazz vs CODAR.
Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 13628 & 13772 approx., June 20 at 1454, the RHC extremely
distorted FMish spurblobs out of 13700 are back! The upper one is
weaker and intermittent. After a long spell without encountering them,
altho not checked every morning. 13700 is only S7+. Better audio
tuning FM mode and the traditional tone is also audible, F# above
Cmiddle or about 370 Hz. Something`s always wrong at RHC.

How long has it been? Searching on a frequency won`t work, since they
are never the same from one time to the next. Searching on keyword
``spurblob`` however leads to definite report of January 18, 2022 at
1553 of 13761 & 13638. So pleased with the renewed catches, I do not
think to check for weaker second-orders at twice the displacement from
13700, until 1529 when they are all off already. Should have been
circa 13577 and 13823 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 15230, June 20 at 2149, steady S9 of dead air from RHC; 11850
as well, S6/S7, while 11760 & 9710 modulate. Aoki shows 15230 in a
break 1600-2300, and 11850 not until *2200 so that could be excused as
a warmup; 11760 also breaking 1800-2200, and 9710 not at all in the
tarde. Any RHC ``scheduling`` must be taken as a guess or
approximation. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** EGYPT. 9440, June 20 at 2204, no R. Cairo English signal into
UTwente, nor earlier direct. Is it ever on anymore? (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** SAUDI ARABIA. 15170.060, June 20 at 0537, S4/S6 of JBA music maybe
Qur`an. Only ``15170`` anywhen in EiBi is SBA Holy Qur`an Radio at
0300-0600, but which site not specified, blank. Aoki and WRTH show
Riyadh (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830.007, June 20 at 2218, VOT S9+55 into UTwente, during
talk about all the foods which supply magnesium - seems like same
script I heard before, but better announcer pronouncing the chemical
clearly. Yes, it`s `Healthy Life`, subset of `Feeling Supreme`,
outro/intro at 2221, music. 2227, multi-lingual ID reel which seems to
be a condensed/quicker version than before. 2234, qualifications for
becoming a Tuerkish astronaut candidate. 2246, `Did You Know That` by
YL announcer with so thick an accent she has no business on an ISWBC
station in English, sorry. Seems to be about a Tuerkish connexion to a
conductor of the London Academy of Ottoman Court Orchestra or
something like that, who performed in Edinburgh. 2250, song. 2253,
sign-off schedule to 2254.5* with a bit of IS. VG modulation as well
as VG signal this time (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2143 monitoring: confirmed Sunday
June 19 from 2000.5 on IRRS SW via AM Italia, 1323 kHz, S9 but noisy
into nearby Noale SDR, and not on 918 or 207 kHz; 1323 carrier reading
as minus ~4.4 Hz offset. Followed Brit accent DJ at 1959 closing music
show mentioning IRRS. NEXUS-IBA shows it was IPAR with `16 Gwendoline
Street` from 1930.

WOR 2143 also confirmed Sunday June 19 at 2230 still on WRMI 5950 but
not on their schedule, S9 but with pulsing noisy into Knoxville TN
SDR, clear S9+15/20 into Athens GA SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday June 20 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S9+15/20 into
Athens GA SDR.

Also confirmed UT Monday June 20 at 0259 on Area 51, started slightly
early via WBCQ 6160, carrier offset -61 Hz = 6159.939, S9+15/18 with
some splash from 6165 RHC into Maryland SDR; however over there our
splash also mars RHC, as two geographically adjacent SW stations
refuse to stop being adjacent frequencilly. Next:

0030 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 9455 to WNW
2230 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [jammed by Cuba]
2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW
1000 UT Wednesday Unique R, Australia 5035-USB or 3210-USB
1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW; 9455 to WNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S; 9395 to NNW

Full schedule including AM, FM, webcasts, satellite, podcasts:

For these noncommercial services, voluntary financial support is much
appreciated, thanks this week to Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ, Ontario for some
US$ to Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA

One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5129.978, UT Monday June 20 at 0335, WBCQ Radio Angela,
`Concert Hall`, for a while has some ``bubbly`` QRM every few seconds
into Maryland SDR, then clears. Opera soon interrupted abruptly for
some poetry and other classical music fill until hourtop. Sorry, but
during first hour from 0200, I needed to hear `Encore` on WRMI 5950,
unfortunately simulscheduled but it was then first (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. 21525, June 20 at 2138, once again S4 open carrier, as
WRMI-7 Radio Africa transmitter has not been turned off at scheduled
2100*. Something`s odd at Okeechobee (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9940, Sunday June 19 at 1723, WTWW active here, as seldom
the case, gospel huxter ending, `Set? for Life`, S9+30; 9475 also on
with SFAW, as tends to be the case Sundays only. But nothing on 5085
or 5830 which I know could be detected even at midday if active (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9275, June 20 at 1723, WMLK is on for their first official
day of reactivation, scheduled 1700-2200. S9+10/25 into Maine SDR, +9
Hz offset; but hardly audible at PEI SDR which is never? any good.
Sufficient S9+5/15 into Missouri. Boring talx presumably by dead EJOM
himself, but a hymn break at 1852. AOY itself refers to Elder Jacob O
Meyer by those initials. He died on April 9, 2010*, so yet another SW
station which is back-to-the-past, nothing but a memorial to long-gone
gospel huxter who unfortunately left a lot of recorded sermons, à la
Brother Scare, Dead Gene Scott, the WJHR guy, Pastor Pete Peters, Tony
Alámo, etc., etc., thus achieving a kind of immortality.
Not only that, but not bothering to fix/edit ancient recordings when
the frequency was ``9475`` as definitely announced at 1728 ID. It was
last on 9275 before burning down. Here is one report on the fire of 22
March 2017:
https://bclnews.blogspot.com/2017/04/fire-at-wmlk-9275.html?m=1

Some quick research finds PWBR *1991* listing it on *9465* only, for
day and night. At other times it may have been on 9475 and 9265. So
the Yahweh-God gets some more propaganda, but I doubt identically to
that from Station YHWH and various other Yahweh sub-cults. O, what a
petty deity they worship; a case of projexion?

Another ID at 1858, then `The Open Door to the Living Word`, i.e. who
else, EJOM. The WMLK page on disgraced FB does not yet show anything
since June 17. And this link goes nowhere: https://wmlkradio.net/

A couple months late, FCC finally gets around to showing A-22 skeds:
https://transition.fcc.gov/ib/sand/neg/hf_web/A22FCC01.TXT
including:
9275 1700 2200 WMLK 300 53 27,28,39 123456 270322 291022

My NGS globe with geometer shows the 53 degree azimuth crosses the
English Channel, Milan, Athens, Medina, so real close to The Holy
Land. Reverse across SE USA close to Houston TX.

At 1935, UTwente, also right near to the beam, lox onto 9275.006 but
at S7/S8, nothing audible except storm crashing. But the K-index is 3.
Despite all those previous years of experience, WMLK never seems to
have grasped Propagation 101. Over a summer mostly-day path, they need
to be on a higher band; and for the projected night path, on a lower
band than 15150. Altho it may work somewhat into Europe at midsummer.

At 2143 direct, I compare it to other nearby signals:
9275 WMLK, S6/S9. And off at 2204 recheck
9265 WINB, S5/S9
9330 WBCQ, S6/S9
9350 WWCR, S9+50! Also 9980. WWCR always bombs in here, 85 and 90
degree azimuths so directly off back of rhombix with extra lobes
9395 WRMI, S3/S7. So 300 kW WMLK is not so great thisaway.

Bethel is so insignificant that it is not indexed in a regular Rand
McNally atlas, but we find it between Harrisburg and Allentown, right
on I-78, where I believe passersby have reported spotting WMLK. I
imagine it would overload victim caradios; and how about the health
hazard of all that RF on a busy interstate? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1130, June 20 at 2155 UT, dead air as KLEY Wellington KS
continues still off its rocker (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ANTARCTICA. Re missed checking LRA36 on June 18 circa 1500:
confirmed by Lucas Willian Bocchi who sends a couple clips with good
reception, too large to redistribute: ``Hello Glenn. How are you?
Follow the LRA36 listen at June 18 at 12:00 PM GMT -3 BRT (15:00 GMT).
Signal strong on Santa Izabel do Oeste - PR - Brasil, using RSPDx /

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 9669.893V, June 19 at 0602, RVM music and Portuguese,
S5/S9, still way off 9665 frequency and audibly wavering even more
than usual. Bad news for 9670.00 Channel 292 Germany in some areas
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. RF 7, June 19 circa 1500 UT, NO signal from KOCO ``5``
OKC - STB meter shows zero sig, not even a BAD bar. Off the air?
Nothing about that on website, but who cares? if it can get into cable
systems, or apps? Could be wiped out by DX QRM: no other 7s in OK per
FCC TV Query, but two in KS are still on 7: KBSH Hayes, and KOAM
Pittsburg. Tropo map shows KOAM in an enhanced area, but Enid barely
on its edge. 1700 UT still no signal. 1809 now it`s back but BAD, not
decoding fully or at all, same 1950 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 4924.835, June 18 at 0606, JBA carrier. A few hours earlier
Manuel Méndez, Spain had reported R. Aparecida reactivated after 5

reactivated R. Educação Rural, Tefé, Amazonas, but it was relaying R.
Aparecida network overnight (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

English from V of Martyrs Korea and right into Dhivehi. Still going
tho not checked lately, from secret site perhaps Taiwan (Glenn Hauser,

** NIGERIA [non]. 11770-, June 18 at 1657, still nothing from VON; SDR

presumably Urumqi, standard denunciation (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Blitzortung, no lightning nearer to Monticello than Nova Scotia. Then
I see this at 0206 from UB Tilford: ``FYI, Thor is throwing his hammer
through the air up near Monticello, 5130 and 6160 are off tonight as a
precaution. William "Bill" Tilford, Owner/Producer, Tilford
Productions, LLC``

WOR 2143 confirmed Sat June 18 at 1600 on WRN webcast of N American
service. Not a problem, but as always there is a pregnant pause
between WRN`s intro and when I may start.

Also confirmed Saturday June 18 at 1929 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, VG and
steady S9+5 groundwave into nearby SDR, at midpoint, so started early
circa 1915.

Also confirmed UT Sunday June 19 at 0049 the 0030 on WRMI 7780, JBA on
caradio while I am mainly FM DXing.

Also confirmed UT Sunday June 19 at 0324 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO,

started circa 0316. Next:

For these noncommercial services, voluntary financial support is much
appreciated, thanks this week to Joe Caberlin, VE1EJ, Ontario for some
US$ to Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 USA

One may also contribute via PayPal, not necessarily in US funds, to
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7730, June 18 at 0614, gospel huxter in English on WRMI: o
yeah, the new NBCWO show on Sat only, leaving R. Tirana relay in
English only for Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sun. But is there a new program even
produced on UT Sundays? Long ago when RT was a real SW station itself,
they took Sundays off. I do wish that when committed to relay a daily
or almost-daily service, it would not be bumped off part of the time;
the other being Wed for RFPI Russian (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1130, June 18 at 1840 UT quick check, KLEY Wellington KS is
still dead air. Also there at night QRMing KWKH with a fast SAH (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Sporadic E MUFs exceed 140 MHz in spots over N America, but
several chex June 18 don`t get any of it here - until after 0000 UT
June 19, when I try the hot caradio again with vertical fender antenna
only, no RDS and no internet access in real time. Even so I get a few
signals here and there only in the bottom half of the FM band.

93.3 at 0009, OKC stn fighting with DX CCI: ad sounds like Cali
Customs, then Firefly Festival; 0010 ``#1 hit music station, BoB?
93-3``. 0012 ad for uqora.com/radio - fortunately they finally spelt
it. 0013 Carolina mentioned. 0014 National Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram ad
on highway 17 in Jaxonville. ``We`re jackin` this in Jaxonville``,
more adstring; something about a national music request line in from
several states, 0016 finally playing a song. I can`t imagine why
anyone would voluntarily listen to a huge string of hardsell ads first
--- other than for IDing DX!

If one searches the WTFDA db on city only, spelt Jacksonville, wasting
a lotta letters, one quickly learns that such a town exists not only
in NC and FL but also TX, IL, AL, AR, OR, GA, each with one or many FM
stations. But would you believe not a single one on 93.3? Must be a
rimshotter so now I shall seek likely NCs or FLs nearby: None of the
FLs nicknamed Bob. Here it is:
WERO 93.3 WASHINGTON NC CONTEMPORARY HIT RADIO BOB 93.3 100.0 kW 543.0
m --- however, Wash & Jax are about 60 miles apart hardly neighbors,
but certainly within a common 100 kW coverage area. From Enid: 1873
km == 1164 miles. The Firefly music Festival might be a local
reference? But it`s in Dover, Delaware, this September. There is no DE
at all on 93.3

94.1 at 0017, Jaxonvil, North Carolina mentioned: must be this right
up the coast at a little town of 900:
WNBU 94.1 ORIENTAL NC GROOVIN OLDIES 94.1/97.9 11.0 kW 148.0 m ---
1915 km = 1190 mi

99.1 at 0018, K-LOVE. Oops, none in the Es area, rather KTLI 100 kW El
Dorado KS, just NE of Wichita; had not noticed this before. Fades in
and out quickly as if Es rather than dynamic 100-degree groundwave
--- 182 km = 113 mi

96.3 at 0020, far-right extremist talk show, caller blasts Biden. Show
maybe called John Perry? Ad for My Pillow. Must be this in PTA, the
only full power in NC, and aptly called!
WRHT 96.3 MOREHEAD CITY NC TALK 96.3 100.0 kW 150.0 m --- 1918 km =
1192 mi

95.1 at 0023, ad for something in Hempstead on highway 17; Kia in
Jaxonvil; 0025 store in High Point; Kysol? Palms. 0026 Lenoir County
Public Schools congrats to grads; ``The Beast in the East, 95.1 WRNS``
--- so now there is no doubt about the slogan, as already heard a few
days ago, but still not in WTFDA db:
WRNS-FM 95.1 KINSTON NC COUNTRY YOUR COUNTRY 95.1 WRNS 100.0 kW 459.0
m Online at WRNS.com
However, Hempstead or similar spelling does not check out for Kinston
area, nor a hwy 17: maybe something else, but surely not LINY. Lenoir
County does contain Kinston --- 1831 km = 1138 mi

97.5 at 0027, K--- 97.5, creditrepair.com but voiced by local DJ?
1-800 number. Community Tax, 1-800-375-7841. 0030 still adstring, Ox
Car Care, 800-736-##73. No match or specific location for Community
Tax and the 800#. Ochs car rental or other car co`s in Missouri,
Pennsylvania. But a hit on K 97.5 in NC::
WQOK 97.5 CARRBORO NC USA HD URBAN CONTEMPORARY K 97.5, HIP HOP & R&B
50.0 kW 146.0 m --- 1686 km = 1048 mi

94.5 at 0033, national requests at K-MAC?? Maybe program name. Maybe:
WCMS-FM 94.5 HATTERAS NC COUNTRY BIG 94.5 FM 100.0 kW 299.0 m --- 2001
km = 1243 mi.

At 0037 I belatedly install the big box fan in the back seat

92.1 at 0041, caterwauling, brief Es-like peak, whew

97.3 at 0044, silly puck game, Colorado Avalanche vs Tampa Bay
somethings, appears to be ice hockey of all things; wild play-by-play
from Ball Arena, which is in Denver. Score so far 3-0. WFLA 970 is
home station of Tampa Lightning team; no 97.3 listed in its small
network. If we are still in eastern NC, maybe altho not sports format,
as this is a Big Deal Stanley Cup game:
WMNX 97.3 WILMINGTON NC URBAN CONTEMPORARY COAST 97.3 100.0 kW 269.3 m
--- 1821 km = 1132 mi

96.5 at 0052, about to quit as Es seem to have faded out, but among
CCI here, some station invites visitors to its studio at 109 --
something street. Could just be one of the Okies? No, does not fit for
KECO or KRAV. Could we get an ID just from that clue? No fit either
for the only fullpower in NC, WFLB.

I do quit and start researching this report with AC in shack, but
DXMAP is still showing lots of Es even on 2 meter band! (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** VANUATU. 11835, June 18 at 0629, RV active tonight on 3 x 3945 with
song at S9/+10, amazing signal for an accidental? harmonic. JBA
carriers on the others, 7890 and 15780 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ANTARCTICA [non]. BBCWS Midwinter special, another test prior to
the real thing on June 21: *2130 June 17 on 12065, JIP normal
programming, into Buenos Aires SDR, S5/S7; nothing heard on other
Woofferton 9505 vs noise level, nor 6035 UAE at all; S6/S7 on 7305
Ascension. At 2138 also checked RSA remote, which should capture 6035,
but none of that nor any others (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NIGERIA. 7255-, June 17 at 0609, again/still no signal from VON
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, Fri June 17 at 2208, VG into Maryland SDR, token
English from REE, Amy`s feature this time is about bottled spring
water from Catalunya; pass (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9830, June 17 at 2210, V of Tuerkiye is S9+35/45 into
UTwente, carrier offset +2 or 3 Hz, marred only by lite hum, but the
main barriers to comprehension are the accents or indistinct
enunciation by the announcers. Granted, they speak English a lot
better than I speak Tuerkish; but. Something`s always awry at Ankara.
At tune-in, long item about World Trade Organization, but 2215 outro
as having been the News; a bit of music, then `Review of the Tuerkish
Press`; 2217 `Analysis` about algo; 2221 beeps and music. 2225
`Feeling Supreme` subtitled `Healthy Life` about natural sources of
----??, the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. Many foods
are listed including dark chocolate. The word is mentioned countless
times, sounds like ``nassition``?? I finally guess he is trying to
pronounce magnesium? Looking it up, skipping the gaseous elements,
potassium is #4 while magnesium is #7. 2233 music, 2237 `Did You Know
That?` by another accented announcer and I never get what, tho
distracted by TV news. 2244 multi-lingual ID loop but unseems the
usual complete spiel; more music; 2253 English schedule at sign-off,
2254 IS cut off air before quite completed once (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** UKRAINE [non]. 7730, June 17 at 0500 via WRMI, UR1 `Ukraine:

17 = Day 114.
http://www.nrcu.gov.ua/ua_security_issue
Altho always in English, some of the other languages do not show every
day, among: Polish, Belarussian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Slovak,
Hungarian, Russian. The archive goes back to 18 March; when this
started? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. Tnx for tip from Richard Langley. Yes, WMLK is back. Altho
suspicious carriers were heard as much as a week ago, now finally some
definite modulation. Tuned 9275 at 2048, via Maryland remote, preacher
in progress, S9+10/20 but noisy and shows +9/10 Hz carrier. Worse into
UTwente, S5/S7 and noisy, plus 7/8 Hz.

2101 piano music and brief WMLK ID, no frequency but targeting Europe
and ME. Restart another sermon by Elder Jacob O. Meyer himself - so
another deadly station. Any novelty will soon wear off.

It`s the ``Sacred Name Broadcast`` as this cult is obsessed with what
to call their god, as if a deity would give a damn about such
pickiness. AOY website
https://assembliesofyahweh.com/
leads to a slightly outdated radio log of 10/2013 including WMLK may
be off 9265 for maintenance or repairs.

Wonder if they are on full power and gain yet; if so, not very
impressive. EJOM keeps rambling on about which religions are false,
for the whole hour past 2123 check; improved by 2142, S9/+15 to
UTwente. Nominal end is 2200 but still going at chex: 2201, 2208,
2222, but off by 2234. ID at 2203 ``You are listening to WMLK, Bethel,
Pennsylvania, 9475 kHz; please stay tuned`` for yet more EJOM. I think
he said 9475: I vaguely recall they may have been there before going
way OOB, already in 2005 WRTH as on 9275. No matter what, we may
expect them never to be on air Saturdays (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
