From now and for an unknowntime, at least for 3 years, I will not use any radio except the remote SDRs forDXing. Recently we moved from the village back to the city in a space thatprohibits the use of desktop DXing, a place flooded by high levels of noise inthe LMHF bands. The radio is now used mostly for FM, for news listening.we runpolitically lively condition with always very interesting twits every day ..

than usual here and not on 6754, with Keflavík 0130 conditions (Glenn

** CHINA. 11640, Nov 1 at 0659 one of very few signals on band, S6/S8,
unknown language, 0700 unusual 3-pip timesignal and talk, sounds like
Vietnamese; but Aoki & EiBi agree it`s CRI in Cantonese from Jinhua
831 site. That`s east/central near the coast. HFCC shows 500 kW at 59
degrees for CIRAF 44NE and 45N, i.e., away from Cantonese area of
China but USward beyond NE China and Hokkaido (Glenn Hauser,  OK,

** GERMANY [non]. Andy, Engineer at SW Radio, Germany, says they have
curtailed 6160 usage not only because of China on 6160, but also on
6165. And I wondered where the RTTY on 6164 is coming from: ``Glenn,
6164 RTTY (FSK) 200 Hz shift is regularly coming from Kaliningrad (part
of Russian enclave) north of Poland - Europe is very small you know.
Every year it's on 6164 from around 1st of September to the 31st of
October for 2 months. Seems to be silent today. However starting again
on 1st of March until around 30th of May next year. They seem to have a
two months schedule. Might pop up these days around 6150 kHz. Need

** TURKEY. 5960.004-, Nov 1 at *2259, VOT IS, not off the air, 2300
s/on English as if it`s 1330 on 13635. Something`s always awry at
Ankara. S9+40/45 into UTwente with constant rumble, seems
self-inflicted but also CCI from China. Not always, but this time
names program segments upcoming: `Weekly Analysis`, `Turkish Folk
Tales`, and `That`s Why`. After olds, 2312 `Weekly Analysis` by John
---, of some Foundation about ? and ? and economic research, on what
will be Iran`s next move in the Hezbollah/Israel/Lebanon conflict.

3265 still off. 5130 -77 Hz = 5129.923 reactivated! at last with
`all-*rump-all-the-time` at least for a bit. 6160 -71 Hz = 6159.929
with TOMBS. 7490 -69 Hz = 7489.931 with FKB preacher. At 0000 Nov 2,
5130 still *rump but 7490 has already started `WTO` theme; quick check
back to 5130, now it`s joined. The B in WBCQ means ``better get out
and vote`` [we just did Early today, line was 30-40 minutes long].
This one is new and live from Fla, on 1 November, YOOLF 2024, 4 days
before elexion. Starts talking about VU meters, microphoniums [Latin
101: plural of microphonium is microphonia, neuter, don`t you know?]
By 0007 they are both yelling about politix. I can`t/won`t put myself
thru their extreme delusions again. At 0040 says simulcasting on 7490
& 5130. 0044 reads items from an old Free Radio Weekly as a new one
has uncome [only one of the rotating editors gets it out promptly
after the 00 UT Sat deadline]. 0058 prays for restoring *rump [since

almost on time; and 5130 is back to `ATATT`, not turned back off yet
