Did anyone hear WI2XLQ(WA1ZMS) on 486 khz?
I tried for the 2nd transmission but heavy rains and high (for winter) temperatures limited propagation somewhat. That being said KE7A(TX) and N4WlO(AL) were audible in the 475khz amateur band. This was in the WSPR mode. AM would be much more difficult. WA1ZMS QSL states that he is using about 10 watts. I did hear some machine like noise but nothing audible. I have been monitoring the 475 amateur band since its inception. Bill Smith, W1OW Douglas. MA

Arizona Update - 4560 Korea N or S?  View Printable Version
Monday, January 02 2023

HCDX

Excuse Glenn and Rick,

re Voice of the People South Korea ?

I don't speek fluently Korean, though. ha, ha, ha ...

was very surprised about the station to listen to,

in no list from the Korea-Japan secret transmitter millieu
a station was noted.

The 'next channel' entry was the former KRE 4557 kHz occupancy.

Does Ron Howard know more, or the South Korean / Japanese DXer community ?

HELP !
