Very nice report. Thanks for taking an interest in the low powered,
shortwave stations in Europe, which otherwise are neglected by some.

World Music Radio on 5930 kHz is currently running 160 Watts.

Radio Piepzender and Sunlite are broadcasting from Zwolle and Westdorpe
which are not in neither the province of North Holland nor the province
South Holland - but in the province Overijssel and in the province Zeeland -
in the country called The Netherlands ... :-)

Sunlite is running 200 Watts (perhaps 250 Watts) as far as I know. And from
a very good transmitter site with excellent ground conductivity.

Radio208 is not broadcasting from "Holland" - but from Hvidovre, Copenhagen
- which is in Denmark. The power was recently increased from 75 Watts to 200
Watts. Plans are to improve the antenna, and so power will be increased to
300 Watts.

suspect it would have been a bit stronger earlier in the evening for me.

HOLLAND 5939.97, 0521-, Radio Peipzender Apr 18 I'm not 100% certain this
is the Dutch low powered station, or actually Radio Voz Missionaria.
Perhaps the later. Non-stop vocals, and sounding rather religious, so
quite possibly the later. Fair/good except for WWCR splatter. (Salmaniw,
Masset, BC)

HOLLAND 5955, 0511-, Sunlite Radio Apr 18 Even better tonight, especially
at and just before 05:00 UTC with Adele's Skyfall, then numerous ads in
Dutch at 04:59. Really impressive for 1 kW or less!. (Salmaniw, Masset, BC)

HOLLAND 5970, 0528-, Radio 208 Apr 18 Very weak, but in the clear hear, and
seemingly // to an Icelandic KiwiSDR with EZL music. Fair amount of static
crashes. Playing a Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum. Not clear on the
power either. Overall a most productive evening!. (Salmaniw, Masset, BC)

ROMANIA 11740, 0509-, Radio Romania International Apr 18 A really powerful
signal. I'm stymied that I can quite get any audio. French is listed at
this time. Pure red on my KiwiSDR waterfall in Masset. S9 + 10 to 20 as

UNITED KINGDOM 5875, 0502-, BBCWS Apr 18 100% copy with BBCWS news in

Subject: [WOR] Radio Romaina International Reception

Excellent reception yesterday (15 April) for both the western European directed transmission at 22:00 UTC on 9740 and 11800 kHz and the eastern North American transmission at 00:00 UTC (technically, 16 April) on 9550 and 11620 kHz here in NB. Using a Belka-DX receiver in pseudo-synchronous mode, the recorded audio was very good with minimal selective fading. These hour-long broadcasts include some music selections, including "All That Jazz" today (Saturdays). The audio was almost as good as the DRM half-hour broadcasts, which typically don't feature music. The Saturday (Sunday UTC for North America) broadcasts supposedly include DX Mailbag/Listeners Letterbox but there wasn't one on 15/16 April. Is it only once per month? According to reports I have seen, there was one on 1/2 April.
