MY Dx jogging session once again after very long on 1605-35z :
WMR  has been heard clearly on 15700 and 25800with  Afrorribean music good  for the DX walking. . Sound is near HIFi usingthe quite trebly Inkax Muse earphones. While 15700  has better signal than 25800  it has some QRM . I preferred to just listento the music and keep my walking rhythm than checking the QRMer. Signal levels wereshown to  max 40/xx in the radio display.After 1630 25800  has been faded out while15700 was still good.

7480 Denge Gel va 7460 Erdogan on same time with good signal 45/xx max  Tuned in  3 times during the jogging session

beacon at Thunder Bay ON, after months, finally able to JB copy it vs
noise level, marginally improved conditions, and underneath it, IC,

** FRANCE. 13735 & 15300, Oct 11 circa 1522, no signal from
MiniTransAt, direct or via UTwente, suspected suspended during
Canarias layover before resuming late in Oct; but need to check if any
pro-forma appearance at *1500 here or on 6100 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ISRAEL [non]. 7570, Oct 11 at 2330, Israel Radio, `KAN` can now be
heard well across N America on SW, as it so happens that WRMI has
changed to WRN relay at 23-24 UT Mon-Fri. Don`t you believe the Xmtr
11 frequency sked atop which claims this hour be RAE Argentina. You`d
never know exactly what it contains, but Dave White, NC, discovered
Israel on Oct 10. It is on the WRN sked for 2330. Seems like the whole
broadcast is news about Topic A, mostly one anchor but with
axualities, interviews. Timecheck at intro was 8 pm = 17 UT, when one
could also hear it on their own stream. Since it was the one-hour 17
UT broadcast repeated, as I expected, WRN chops it short at 2359. WRMI
gotta get back in the TOMBS at 0000. All the daily u.o.s. times for
Israel Radio on WRN to NAm: 0400-0500, 0800-0830, 1400-1430 Sun,
1700-1800, 2330-2400 UT. Some of the others might also be on WRMI
stream if not SW, unresearched yet (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. 101.5, Oct 11 circa 2010 UT on caradio, still $ tereo
deadair in Spanish from KOCD Okeene. Radio Salvación forgot to turn it

** SPAIN. 17855, Wed Oct 11 at 2200, token English from SNR, VG
S9+10/20 into Maryland SDR. Says Thu Oct 12 will be Spain`s national
day. Don`t they know that Estados Unidos has decreed it has to be on
lunes? After news at 2207, more about that, had been called in Spain
``Dia de la hispanidad``. Other names for it now in different Latin
American countries, ``Día de la raza`` in Argentina, Chile y México -
but which ``the race`` does this refer to? Elsewhere Columbus is no
hero, and native peoples are more celebrated. But this is only intro
to main feature, an interview about Flamenco (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Improved by 1637. Following tips to the WOR iog: ``Listening to KMK282
right now (10/11 1540 UTC) - 26110 KHz NFM. Signal is peaking around
S7 with deep fades here in central NC. [At 1549:] Now peaking at times
to S9+30 but with deep fades. Regular peaks at S9+10. Doug White
KA5ETS``. DXinfocentre.com has huge roster of such stations, miscalled
STLs, but we never hear nor see reported any of the others (Glenn

** U S A. 13605, 11930, 11860, Oct 11 at 1519 NO signals from R.
Martí, nor 13820 expected for B-season. No jamming audible either,
just roar on 11860 from Sa`udi Yemenia. What`s going on at Grimesland,
power failure? 1659 recheck, now 13605 on and nominal. Some urgent
repairs were needed in the antenna switch bay, so had to turn them off

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2211 monitoring: confirmed Tuesday
October 10 at 2330 on WRMI 9395, S9+10/20 into Missouri SDR.

Frequency/transmitter grid does show TOMBS; while System B, otherwise

weather and standings info during their lengthy hiatus at Canarias;
but maybe will keep daily 15 UT broadcasts going anyway with fill

** PERU. 4930v, new Peruvian, so far no luck hearing it as reported
via the WOR iog:

``Tent. reactivation Radio Sur Andina 4930.6 kHz. Hi, 4930.6 tent.
Radio Sur Andina. Sicuani, Perú. 6 oct 2346-0000*. Noted a stable
signal some low strong with peruvian instrumental music. Not listen
any identification, at 0000 utc off the air without S/Off. Some
Peruvian DXers mention that it must be this station. I heard activity
on that frequency since the beginning of the month. The web page
radiosurandina.com it`s off but in Facebook page RadioSurAndina shows

Just tried it via Bonaire SDR at 0125 Oct 10 - nothing but huge noise
4930-4935 but not on the lower side. I wonder when new station signs

and Japanese at equal levels, S8/S9, since RRI is supposedly only for
Europe altho 300 degrees USward, and NHK at 235 degrees for SE Asia,

** U S A. 5085, continued from last report on reactivated WTWW, UT Tue
Oct 10: preacher continues with visual references, evidently a sermon
before an audience, but no reaxion heard from them; 0054 `Mighty
Fortress` hymn, and then outro as from ``Trinity Chapel in southwest
Virginia``, https://trinitychapelvirginia.com/ so it`s NOT PPP but
BBB, or rather just BB as Bob Biermann has now ``retired`` from his
bishop job per the Our Pastor page: nothing there yet about being on
WTWW, or WRMI.

So BB has a new radio program. But at 0059 ID as ``Ancient Word Radio
on WTWW 5085`` And 0100 into BB`s `Truth2Ponder` mixing far-right
politix with religion, like all over WRMI. Recheck at 0205 I hear an
unknown different voice. Evidently BB is subleasing to other gospel
huxters. Call from George McClintock confirms they are underway, and
expects BB to add more and more time soon including 9475 in daytime.

** U S A. 15555 LSB, Oct 10 at 1529, noisy WJHR with gospel huxter on
LSB instead of usual USB; why? Not always audible, depending on

** VANUATU. 9960, Oct 10 at 0640, R. Vanuatu on surprise new
frequency, first heard 24 hours ago as unID. Now I`m hearing ``island
music``, YL DJ with IDs in passing at 0643, 0646.5, 0654. Tunes
included 0643 ``Country Roads`` about West Virginia, morphing into ``I
Only Love You``. 0659.5* cuts off air just like 7260 used to do for
frequency change. With USB tuning, WRMI 9955 TOMBS weak enough now not
to be a problem.

At first I suspected 4th harmonic of 2485, except that does not quite
compute: would land on 9940. And if already on lowest frequency at
nightfall, where to move but up? Nothing heard on other exact
multiples of 2485 or 2490. Choice of 9960 maybe due to harmonic
resonance of antenna and/or transmitter. Following my unID log last
night, here`s what led up to the above, and following:

``[WOR] 9960, What is on now? Last night after 0600 UT I had a very
weak broadcaster aside TOMBS/WRMI 9955. Tonight at 0521 UTwente locks
onto 9959.999 but not audible. Nothing showing at remotes in
Khabarovsk or Negros. At 0532 I am again detecting it direct, JBA

Oct 10 at 0610: ``I'm hearing Vanuatu with a good signal here in
Marahau, New Zealand, with news at 06:00 UTC - now into music. 73

new frequency of 9960; thanks to Glenn and Chris Mackerell for the
timely alert in WORiog; drove to the beach in time to catch 0656-0658*
UT, on Oct 10. Fairly readable with promo for BBC on 104 FM in Port
Vila, Visa debit card (both spots in English), etc.; about ten seconds
to change frequency to 3945 (*0658) and into the news till 0718.
