has been appearing regularly; maybe from 2100 already come and gone.
No one else has reported it. The new 2023 overwinter crewe should

** COLOMBIA [and non]. 5909.950 & close to 6010.00, April 12 at 0618,
the two reactivations are S9 with separate music: Alcaraván Radio and
La Voz de tu Conciencia. 5910 is clear while 6010 has a low het,
presumably R. Inconfidência, Brasil (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** FRANCE. 11850, April 12 at 0629, S7/S9 of dead air with flutter.
HFCC shows DW in Hausa via Issoudun daily at 0630-0700 -- but still
dead after 0630. Might have been RHC, where 11850 is nominally a tarde
frequency only, usually JBM, but no trace now of parasitic JBA spur
carriers on 11860 & 11840 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** KURDISTAN [non]. 17460, April 12 at 1530, S7/S9 with heavy flutter
talk direct. Only active frequency now below 17500. Could be both
Dengê Welat and Recep Turkish jammer, but can`t be sure there be two

a sculptress from Lithuania now exhibiting in Madrid. Altho I`m all
for the Arts, REE overdoes it, maybe due to staff interest, or
``safe`` non-political subjects. As always, very lacking any visual
element. At end her name uttered once sounded like Munia ben-Jamada,
hardly Lithuanic and subjects were rather Arabic, so maybe two
separate topix as I dozed and napped unavoidably. Ken Zichi has been
monitoring and reporting these in much more detail, q.v. (Glenn

frequency signing off what should have been on 7275 from 0300, and off

previous English at 2200. It is still on 6165 with the usual warble,

usual slightly overmodulated distorted. But I opt to escuche

speaker of English to follow, understand her. She could polish her
speech if she ever listened to VOA. Or if it was ``penned``, trouble

2243 `Turkey`s Geomarked Products` about quince, Turkish Delight

if this were one of those four other broadcasts. Something`s always
awry at Ankara. 2254.6 IS plays a few times, chopped off at 2255.7

Reception in mountain of Salonica . We are there for Easter this Sunday 16/4 . PL 330 and 3×9 m delta Router off for that time. Needed to switch the router a few times to again connect to the internet, can someone advise why it happen? 15770 WRMI program? 1109 with pope Francisco reference 40/05

SMTV? sked at 0500-0700. Recheck 0559 for ID, it`s off already. Not in
HFCC, but Aoki shows Algeria Qur`an service via Béchar site at
0300-0600. If WRMI reactivate, this will present a problem (Glenn

** AUSTRALIA. 28266 CW, April 10 at 2225, dash DE VK4RST, and a quick
scan does not find any other 10m beacons. This is more like it, WI5V:

2017 (SWL David Vitek)`` -- presumably Qsld -- I don`t know about
VK-land, but US call areas are meaningless as hams move around and
retain old calls. Yes, per QRZ.com but it has no humaname! ``VK4RST Australia flag Australia, 10m Propagation Beacon, 28.266 Mhz,
St George QLD 4487, Australia, QSL: Vk4pr. VK4RST is a 10m propagation

6165 seems gone for good: At 0256, it`s the TRT IS instead prior to
its English not for us but Asia, and its higher pitch chirps tinkle
ACI against WBCQ dead air on 6160-. Previously 9700 seemed to be RHC`s
replacement but that`s not on at 0300 either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 11670, April 10 at 1515, RHC Spanish is S9+5/10, maybe atop
Spain? which starts at 1500 weekdays. This RHC frequency of course is
normally tarde-only. Mistake for 11760? That and 15140 are both AWOL,
nominally the only midday channels. Something`s always wrong at RHC

Kiribati, and no other 9/kHz splits below 1220. I caught another airing of the documentary on PBS -- certainly fleshes
out a country beyond our JBA carriers! Shows considerable sympathy for
its sea-level-rise situation, but nothing very substantial to
compensate; Pres. Anote turned over to a successor who in a PS was
said to be dismantling his climate policies! Possible solutions:
floating countries or undersea ``skyscrapers``. Meanwhile one woman
migrated with difficulty to NZ, and government was seeking to buy
enough land on a Fiji island to relocate the 100K citizens. Did
anything come of that? but would risk diluting Kiribati Kulture (Glenn

around here again imply Dengê Welat and ``Radio Recep`` jammer are
failing to coincide, so why bother? 17480 is stroonger with S5/S8

Gwendoline Street`. What does that signify? Googling leads to some
real addresses in NZ, Australia. Also confirmed UT Monday April 10 at 0038 the 0030 on WRMI 7780, JBA
S7 direct and noisy. Not confirmed UT Monday April 10 at 0300 on WBCQ Area 51, 6160 -67 Hz
= 6159.933, S9/+5 into Maryland SDR which is DEAD AIR from 0256
tune-in until 0340! Something`s messed up at Monticello. However, WOR

Shelby MT, as delayed oopsie 24 hours; another no show? I`m listening
on DX-398 nulling KSAL as much as possible. At 0605 some tinkling
bells which could have been an else liner. But 0610 I finally copy JBA
Morse code as VVV VVV VVV DE KSEN, and repeated several times. First
few minutes might have been talk indistinguishable from the QRM. So
that`s it: no need to listen another bihour. Besides, I already QSLed
it on November 8, 2020:
