ÂÂÂÂ A morning very similar to yesterday.ÂÂÂ Being positive, I can say
that the mumblings on 828 were slightly stronger today, and I also had
Australian mumbling on 1548 just prior to 1500 which I didn't get
yesterday. ÂÂ However, definitely another recording quickly destined for
the recycle bin.

Not quite sure whether this morning was bad to worse, or worst to slightly less worse.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

nada,

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

absent

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

nil

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

774 JOUB pips 1500UT, man mumbling

1017 man talking, traces of music 1524UT, suspect Tonga?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)
828 seemed to be Asian;
612 882 891 1548 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick

Just noted 1380 Mexico at 0559:13z with the the Mexican National Anthem, on
November 13 in Newfoundland. No idea which station, but I'd say the Mexico
City station with the highest power is the likely culprit. This was on our
SouthWest wire, which I'm concluding is more west than south in effect.

Who is on 870.158 (approximately)?  View Printable Version

Around 2100 EST tonight, here in the SW corner of PA, I have a weak but
steady trace at about 870.158 on my 7300's waterfall. Checked the offset
lists but don't find anything close. Anyone know who it is? Thanks!
