Universidad Nacional de Quilmes. Plug an event to take place Wed Nov 9
at 18h [21z] in some auditorium; rather than a broadcast, I think.
1831 YL with met conditions including temp range -10 to -23 C.

Recheck 2249, still on at S9/+10, and mostly music 2305+. At 2325
after music, sends Morse code: RADIO NACIONAL ARCANGEL SAN GABRIEL
---, and at 2326 ``a partir de este momento``, multi-ling ID and
pretending to sign on again; to repeat another 5+ hours? 2329, ``una
nueva emisión de `Uniendo Voces``, usual opening niceties, somehow
mentioning ``nuestras Islas Malvinas`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** FRANCE. 21640.124 oscillating up to 21640.158 and down again as
measured by TWR Bonaire KiwiSDR, MiniTransAt, S6/S9, Nov 4 at 1534,
YL in French and English rankings up to 51st - I didn`t think there
were more than 30 on the first leg of the sailboat race. 1539 ``à
demain`` and music starting with EU anthem on fife, medley of many
more bits, not the classic rock tunes heard before, but must still
drive Shazaam crazy. 1559 brief announcement, James Bond theme music
until 1600* on the unstable Issoudun transmitter. However, in AM
reception mode you might not notice, they hope (Glenn Hauser, OK,

** IRAN [non]. 7590, Nov 4 at 0628, Greekish? music, something new
here, S9+10 vs intermittent line noise level of S9+20. 0630 Persianish
news about Hezbollah, clips of SOS Blinken in English. I bet it`s
Radio Farda. Yes: now listed 0230-0830 via KUWAIT. No jamming (Glenn

** NEW ZEALAND. 13755, Nov 4 at 0635, RNZP achieves only a JBA
carrier. Extreme variations in strength vs last time (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** OKLAHOMA. RF 15, Nov 4 at 0125 UT, astounded to see a full-blown
infomercial - on TBN?? Did KTBO ``14`` OKC pick up a wrong satellite
feed? Something about health/medicine, I guess, unknown if
gospelhuxter undertone. I *never* watch TBN, but tuning across it.
Same on cable 3 Optimum Enid. No, at 0130 TBN ID flashes and into
`GAITHER A Legacy In Music` which is scheduled per TitanTV listings at
0000-0130, 0130-0300 and 0300-0400 UT. I guess the infomercial is part
of that? I let it run on a monitor, and at 0209 another commercial!
For OMEGA-XL. I know the lines are fuzzy, witness PBS, but aren`t TBN
stations licensed as noncommercial? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [non]. 5960.001, Nov 4 at 2306, NO English signal from VOT,
something`s always erroneous at Emirler; instead Chinese from XJPBS,
East Turkistan, land of imperialist ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs

presumably foot, clue such as ``end zone``, S5 but steady and

Also confirmed Saturday November 4 at 1630 on WRMI 15770, JBA S7/S8
into UTwente SDR, European target area; S5/S7 into New Hampshire SDR
but sounds much stronger.

Also confirmed Saturday November 4 at 1700 UT on WRN North America
webcast; ex 1600 when NHK now airs, already despite we are still on
DST.

Also confirmed Saturday November 4 at 1930 UT, right on time via
WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, VG into nearby SDR; from next week will be at
2030 UT. Also on WRMI webcast-only; but not on WRN Europe stream,
rather Poland now, and WOR presumably at 2030, not checked.

pulsing maybe CODAR but seems a bit too fast for that, too slow for

``freebanders`` below rather than above 27 MHz CB (Glenn Hauser, OK,

UNIDENTIFIED. 35790, Nov 4 at 2022, JJBBA carrier. Checking out a tip
from Don Moman, Alberta, to the WOR iogroup that he was getting Radio
Martí, 3rd harmonic // 11930! It seems the F2 MUF is hitting 40 MHz
now, and he`s rather far from Grimesland for it to be sporadic E. To
me, Es distance would be good, but too close for F2. Harmonix tend to
favor odds or evens, so if the MUF rise further, check for X5 on
59650, which my R75 will barely tune, just below the old NTSC TV ch A2
FM audio frequency 59750. Neither he nor I were getting it there nor
on 11930 X 2 = 23860. Also check anyway X4 = 47720 (Glenn Hauser, OK,

just passed. Distorted music, 2243 s/off, more distorted music to
2244.5 silence, to 2245* off. At least for B23, there is no more BBC

info from Issoudun, as always way off-frequency and constantly varying
up and down. Only other 13m signals are 21660 and 21485; see SUDAN

timesignal, s/on with program preview, news. At 2317 it`s an interview
about the status of a lagoon at a national park in southern Spain due

** SUDAN SOUTH [non]. 21485, Nov 3 at 1515, S6/S9 of talk but
modulation breaking up rapidly. Per EiBi this is R. Tamazuj based in
Holland, 1430-1600 via Issoudun, FRANCE. B23 Aoki misses this one
completely. To make it as obscure as possible, HFCC lists this only as
JRC in the Apd language. Only one of three 13mb signals along with
21640V also France, and 21660, see UNID (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TIBET [non]. 12125, Nov 3 at 1542, S8/S9 Chinese mixing with
another lang at equal level. It`s CNR1 jamming vs RFA Tibetan at 15-16
via TINIAN. The imperialist ChiCom occupiers could at least have the
courtesy to employ Tibetan language jamming but probably from outside
Tibet due to skipzone (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 9700, Nov 3 at 0652, S6/S8 talk sounds more Turkish than
Japanese. TRT at 310 degrees sked 04-07; NHK at 305 degrees at 05-08

news in English, S9+30/35 into UTwente. Something`s always erroneous
at Emirler. I was listening from 2253 on 5960.000 to snippets of
Chinese martial music cutting on and off, i.e. PBS Xinjiang, Urumqi,
nominal start 2300 per EiBi, from EAST TURKISTAN, land of imperialist
ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems. But once TRT is
on, it obliterates XJPBS which was only S9/+10. Almost; still audible
as an understation during pauses. Unfortunately VOT suffers from a
constant squeal, like WEWN. I`d rather not listen. In background at
2314, I recognize the 2-minute multilingual ID filler reel. By 2338
drifted to 5960.018. At 2340 I turn on UTwente`s Autonotch, but moxnix
as the squealing is not a constant pitch. Narrow filter to 2.15 kHz
rids it but makes what`s left even more lofi. 2352 s/off sked as usual
mentions only 4 *other* English broadcasts in jumbled order, never
this very one: 1330 on 13635, 1930 on 6050, 2130 on 7285, 1730 on
9660. Wait a minute: 2130 is supposed to be on 9610, while 7285 is at
0400! I bet this never gets corrected in the next pentamonth. And
still going at 2400 opening extraneous German. At 2417 I realize
that`s Chinese again instead of German, so TRT has turned off in the

** U S A. 356 MCW kHz, Nov 3 at 0704 UT, ND beacon ODX is JBA vs S9
line noise level here which is worst on LW, making it a struggle to
hear any beacons. 25 watts from Ord, Nebraska (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A [non]. 11870, Nov 3 at 1530, ``Welcome to the Voice of
America in Burmese``, i.e. Myanmarianese; S5/S6. I thought he said
Chinese but Burmese listed: one of those ``-ese`` langs. This also
explains why it`s not being jammed. Via Tinang, PHILIPPINES, of course

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2215 monitoring: confirmed Friday
November 3 at 2157 the 2130 on IRRS SW via AM Italia, 1323 kHz, S9+17
into nearby Noale SDR, and no CCI audible; new shifted time. However,
some storm crashes from NW Greece/SerboCroatia coast right across
Adriatic. Flooding in Tuscany must not have reached to Villa Estense.

Also confirmed Friday November 23 at 2200 first SWBC on WRMI 9955,
S9/S7 into Bonaire SDR with Cuban pulse jamming. From next week: 2300.

S5/S7. It`s Malayalam at 1510-1530, via USAGM Tinang, PHILIPPINES;
violating Separation Of Church And State. Why is the USG propagating
one particular RCC sect? O yeah, it`s an ``exchange`` as if USAGM need
relays via Vatican (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier check Nov 3 at 0710 UT:
JBA on 621 and 711 kHz, surely RNE Canarias and neighborly Moroccan
from occupied ``Spanish West Africa`` as in mwlist. Such ending in --1
are axually easier to spot than further splits, since the --0 N
American stations provide no splash and quieten the frequency when
tuning USB. Same would apply to those in --9 if I ever tuned in LSB
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 21660, Nov 3 at 1515, algo here one of 3 sigs on 13m
besides 21485, 21640V. Aoki shows BBC Somali at 14-16 via UAE but only
on Day 7 = Saturday, and this is Friday. HFCC and EiBi show nothing
after 1500 but until then BBC Somali at 14-15 is via Vatican M-F, UAE

is different from day to day depending propagation
from Europe into Northern America
ROMANIA  11930 kHz Sat Nov 4th at 06.40 UT S=9+5dB into Detroit MI remoted 
SDR gear.

and similar, rather better signal into
11930 kHz via Edmonton Alb-CAN remotedly at 06.44 UT,
S=9+25dB on all 4 different antenna switch selection availability.
No scratch from Cuba island heard at all,
RRI signal is so strong on this November season morning path.

Chinese martial music cutting on and off, i.e. PBS Xinjiang, Urumqi,
nominal start 2300 per EiBi, from EAST TURKISTAN, land of imperialist
ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems. But once TRT is
on, it obliterates XJPBS which was only S9/+10. Almost; still audible
as an understation during pauses. Unfortunately VOT suffers from a
constant squeal, like WEWN. I`d rather not listen. In background at
2314, I recognize the 2-minute multilingual ID filler reel. By 2338
drifted to 5960.018. At 2340 I turn on UTwente`s Autonotch, but moxnix
as the squealing is not a constant pitch. Narrow filter to 2.15 kHz
rids it but makes what`s left even more lofi. 2352 s/off sked as usual
mentions only 4 *other* English broadcasts in jumbled order, never
this very one: 1330 on 13635, 1930 on 6050, 2130 on 7285, 1730 on
9660. Wait a minute: 2130 is supposed to be on 9610, while 7285 is at
0400! I bet this never gets corrected in the next pentamonth. And
still going at 2400 opening extraneous German. At 2417 I realize
that`s Chinese again instead of German, so TRT has turned off in the

America in Burmese``, i.e. Myanmarianese; S5/S6. I thought he said
Chinese but Burmese listed: one of those ``-ese`` langs. This also

some storm crashes from NW Greece/SerboCroatia coast right across
Adriatic. Flooding in Tuscany must not have reached to Villa Estense.

JBA on 621 and 711 kHz, surely RNE Canarias and neighborly Moroccan
from occupied ``Spanish West Africa`` as in mwlist. Such ending in --1
are axually easier to spot than further splits, since the --0 N
American stations provide no splash and quieten the frequency when
tuning USB. Same would apply to those in --9 if I ever tuned in LSB

UNIDENTIFIED. 21660, Nov 3 at 1515, algo here one of 3 sigs on 13m
besides 21485, 21640V. Aoki shows BBC Somali at 14-16 via UAE but only
on Day 7 = Saturday, and this is Friday. HFCC and EiBi show nothing
after 1500 but until then BBC Somali at 14-15 is via Vatican M-F, UAE

only local TV, is back on the air. I neglected to report Oct 31 at
1547 that it was totally off the air. But still, NO audio or video
modulation, just silence and black, as it had been since at least

timesignal at 1500 and more music as WRMI starts Radio Africa. Jeff &
RRI must have decided that this hour overlap between Galbeni and
