1.This Tuesday Hellas sat 4 will be put into orbit. 2215 local greek time with direct conenction from Kourou Fr Guinea Not only for Sat TV bu also for other usages that include communications and IP . it adds more transponder usage to the previous orbited two years ago.
2.Open TV a new greek nationwide channel is now using totaly HDTV gear > The TV channel started last September repacing the previously used TV channel E
3. ERT is now using its own digital TV relay system after ripping off the DIGEA system founded and used by the commercial TV services . The replacement happened since Feb 2nd. Now all users must retuine ther TVs except Athens Thessalonikiand Poloponisos
