local station in São Paulo at 890 kHz (Radio Gazeta) has been definitively
deactivated, which makes it possible to do more detailed researches like
this one. Consulting friends here in São Paulo last night, there was one of
them who also picked up this station in the same time.

communication, oldies, mx 'La Bamba'. 34422 (RG).
BRAZIL: 820 kHz Radio Gazeta, Vitória ES, PP, 17/04 0309. Brazilian songs,

BRAZIL: 890 kHz Radio Santa Catarina, Florianópolis SC, PP, 17/04 0323.
Preacher 'Igreja Pentecostal Deus é Amor' Florianópolis. 23422 (RG).
BRAZIL: 1280 kHz Radio Tupi, Rio de Janeiro RJ, PP, 17/04 1355. Pop show,

They will change to a spanish language format anytime now. A facebook post
made by the station March 26th indicated the change would be coming soon. I
am in Laramie, WY and I've heard the conservative christian
talk/preaching/music format as recent as a day ago

The station has been for sale/lease after the KXEG 1280 folks defaulted on
payments from their purchase. At least the spanish music will be better
then the dry boring format on it now.
