Logs
** OKLAHOMA. ``Glenn, regarding your call sign confusion for KTSB 1170
in Tulsa (ex-KVOO/KFAQ): The station has requested, and been granted,
another call change to KOTV effective June 26, 2024.

https://enterpriseefiling.fcc.gov/dataentry/views/public/amDraftCopy?displayType=html&appKey=25076f918fa77ea8018fc0000e7c0f62&id=25076f918fa77ea8018fc0000e7c0f62&goBack=N
Stephen Luce, Houston, Texas``

Incredible - that`s Griffin`s channel ``6`` TV in Tulsa, KOTV = so
``KOTV Radio`` or ``KOTV-AM`` ?? (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WORLD OF RADIO
2246)

** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, June 6 at 0503 UT, solid reception of KTEN Ada,
10-1, totally overriding local Enid 3ABN satellator K17JN-D - unless
it`s off. Last few days of heavy tropo have had it BAD or breaking up
due to DX QRM. 10-2 is KTEN-CW, 10-3 KTENABC. 10-1 is NBC // KFOR.
Back in the analog days, KTEN was also affiliated with both NBC and
ABC, but with one channel had to pick one or the other at any given
time, especially prime. In minor ``market`` with Ardmore`s KXII-TV
with both CBS and NBC, IRRC.

Most of the other ``open`` channels show BAD signals now: 10, 11, 12,
14, 20, 21, 22, 26, 31, 34, 35, 36. While the only other decoding is
RF28 Ion 44-1 from Tulsa market (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR)

Logs
** COLOMBIA [and non]. 28470 USB, June 5 at 2210, Hawaiian station
speaking Spanish, did not get call, but contacting HJ3ESF who went on
to contact several Mainland US stations such as N9UU. Said he was on
an island near or in Colombia, but did not catch that either. QRZ.com
rather only shows mailing address: ``HJ3ESF Colombia flag Colombia,
Munir Saab, 20976 Sheridan St, Fortlauderdale, FL 33332, USA`` (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SAUDI ARABIA. ```Hi Glenn - Rob Wagner (Australia) has also been
doing considerable monitoring of 11935. Ron Howard
https://medxr.blogspot.com/2024/06/11935-khz-strange-goings-on.html

Today's update of his monitoring:

``UPDATE (June 4, 2024 @0409 UTC) --- Today, Radio San'na signed
on again at 04:00:30 UTC with a strong signal plus buzzing. The
buzzing started at EXACTLY the same time as the station. The chances
of jamming starting at exactly the same time as the transmission are
extremely low. This seems to indicate to me that this is, indeed, an
intermittent transmitter fault. 73 and wishing you good, buzz-free
DX!! Rob Wagner VK3BVW````` (via Glenn Hauser, WOR)

** SPAIN. 17855, Wed June 5 at 2200, token English from SNR, S9+20/30
direct, also 15520, S9/+10; weaker but audible on 17715 and detectable
on 15390. Both Amy & Marilyn hostessing, preview about Madrid Book
Fair; 2202 right into that skipping any news (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 11785.010, June 5 at 2203, VOT English not off the air,
S9/+10 direct but not enough vs local line noise level. 2228 check
into UTwente when measured, S9+45/50, `The Middle East and Turkey`,
mentioning Iraq; 2234 music; 2238 `Sports Panorama`; 2245 music; 2253
s/off ignoring SW; 2254 six notes of IS before chopped off, no
finesse. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)
