Paul, what is your source and date for this? Imelda flooding in Houston is old news, a sesquiweek ago. It may have been off for a while, but I believe I was hearing KGOW Vietnamese last night/this morning altho not bothered to log. KYND has indeed been off. Glenn Hauser, Oct 3

Everyone's favorite ethnic station, Viet Radio 1560 KGOW Bellaire/Houston

that has "Detrimentally affected the transmission equipment"

They are completely off the air instead of using the seperate day or night
site full time like last time when the day site got flooded

This must've just happened a few days ago because I caught them on the air
and put them in my log books about a week ago or so.

I should note, of potential interest... the Viet Radio programming on KGOW
1560 has recently been heard simulcast on KYND 1520 before KGOW went off
the air

I did not say you did. You should cite your sources in the first place. This may have been delayed action or proved not to be necessary. You still have not cited the date(s) if any on the FCC info. Glenn

Glenn, regarding KYND 1520: The station has been off the air since September 25. Operation had been highly irregular prior to that date (Stephen Luce, Houston, Texas, 1311 UT Oct 3, WOR iog via DXLD)
