Laramie, WY TP DX Report Nov 21  View Printable Version
Thursday, November 21 2019

HCDX

Thanks for the reports Paul and Richard. Here, "normal" conditions
prevailed until about 1440UT (big guns with audio, little guns
popping up from time to time), but by 1500UT (30 minutes before local
sunrise) things had gotten very thin indeed.

I notice the auroral zone has fattened up in the last few hours, so I
suspect only the earlier birds got much DX.

best wishes,

Nick

747khz JOIB started producing audio about 1240UTC, but just enough
and mired in noise enough to know I had program audio there but
couldn't tell what it was.

693khz JOAB started producing audio about 1245UTC and there was
enough quality there for at least a brief time to almost tell what
they were saying. WEaker then 774khz JOUB, but less noise and
clearer audio. About 1300UTC, 693khz had fair signal and started
producing some halfway decent audio but with splatter from KGGF but
JOUB Was soon ravaged away by that schlop splatter and faded into
the ether but came back a few minutes later with audio but it wasnt
very understandable.

It's now 1402UTC and I think mostly anything useful has burned off

As for Nov 20th, nadda... I slept in because I was so tired and
didn't get up till 1530UTC

Paul
