at 15 local time, between Sra. Menéndez and the usual male host. No
signal direct altho imagination-level bit of the reduced carrier; of
the four Argentine SDRs, the best one is offline; two get a trace at
best, but the other one is weak but readable; steadily fades down to
JBA by 1925 and not at all by 2015 but unknown if or when it turned
off. Anyhow, now seems regular roughly 18-21 UT on Wed & Sat. I missed

** ANTARCTICA [non]. 12005, June 21 at 2130, annual BBCWS midwinter
special for Antarcticans, greetings from families with bits of music
interspersed such as ``I`m a Believer`` twice near the start. I first
tried several remotes in Argentina, Uruguay, RSA, some getting some
signal but inadequate. So I settle on UTwente, where I thought
Woofferton might be skipping over, but sufficient at S9+20; and 13810
slightly weaker at S9+10 and minus 3 Hz offset. Third frequency, 7255
via UAE a very poor third everywhere if at all. I don`t get it why
they disused Ascension, which should have put the best signal
southward. Uncounted, but there were so many quick greetings that it`s
hard to believe the target audience no more than 32 to 40 down there.
Of course, each could receive greetings from several family, friends.
At 2145 a quick check for my direct reception: both 12005 & 13810
audible but very poor. 2159 closing with ``Jingle Bells``, off at
2200* sharp. Anyhow, BBC are repeating it later and streaming, and I
hope ondemand for convenience. Yes, Alan Pennington, bdxc-news, says,

and I could believe it`s really 300 kW; but I miss sign-on if any, nor
any real IDs; amateurish singing in progress, hymn? By 0412 presumed
DEJOM with Yahweh stuff, perpetual obsession with ``correct`` name for
their deity. At 0433 I check the website, still with no new info,
altho the ``live radio`` plays -- but NOT // 15150, in fact an
entirely different speaker. So far I have seen zero other reports
about this in all the DX sources I have; no one has noticed but me
starting two nights ago? Then, here`s another, June 21 at 0840 in
bdxc-news:

tree fell over on one of the feedlines. SFAW HQ in Colorado is still
paying electric bill at minimum rate of $ 2K per month, altho axual

``88.3 at 1714, mentions Leesburg? which is in N VA, NW of WDC.
Nothing there; I now think it was probably Lynchburg as in later 88.3

Tim McVey: ``You can't rule out 88.3 WQIQ in Spotsylvania. WQIQ is
part of Virginia Tech's excellent large-area network of stations (IQ
Radio), and a fulltime NPR affiliate. Daily they carry segments on
news from around Virginia. That seems like a reasonable option based
on PTA (other Leesburgs are in FL, GA, AL, OH). 88.3 in Lynchburg, VA
is local, religious programming and a long way from Leesburg. ~tim

English about ``Yashua`` sp? stuff, VG S9+20/30, SSOB by far above
15720 NZ, 15770 WRMI. It`s loud but modulation a bit rough. No ID
circa ToH 0600; says ``10 years ago it was 1969``. Says he is 44 years
old now, and speculates whether he would be alive ten years plus,
certainly not by age 100. Got to be DEJOM [deceased Elder Jacob O.
Meyer] on WMLK, until now active only, sometimes on 9275 afternoons.
WMLK has been registering 15150 for several years overnight, but first
time I`ve ever heard this, nor anyone? Still going at 0630 but
weakening to S6/S9. Of course summer is the only feasible season for

** U S A [and non]. Finally in my spare? time after a full week, I
have completed compiling and researching my sporadic E FM DX openings
on Sunday June 11, into UT Monday June 12. Partly on caradio, partly
on DX-398 inside. There was considerable overlap from different PTAs:
probable target areas. From GA/SC/NC/VA/MD/KY; OH/WV/ON/MI/WI;
MN/MB/ND/SK/MT. Also included are nearby OK logs encountered along the
way.

Es FM DX: gotta take it whenever it decide to happen! In the not too
hot garage, on the Nissan Sentra 2004 stock caradio with fender
vertical antenna only, so no antenna manipulation but disfavoring any
horizontal-only stations, if any; all logs in real time with my own
ears, one frequency at a time, no RDS capability, no recording, no
internet for stream comparisons; but research later from my scribbled
notes, mainly the excellent WTFDA FM Database, also in general
searching if needed.

All times strictly UT! Numbers just before geo coordinates are kW ERP
and antenna height above average terrain in meters. Identical horiz
and vert figures, u.o.s. Last figures are distances in km/stmi
city-to-city so approx., not site-to-city, from distancefromto.net.
Showing distance does not necessarily make a log more definite, but
FYI.

I do not count stations, states or anything, what`s `new` or not, and
am not in a competition. Each DX log I view as a potential learning
experience. Clarifications, correxions welcome.

since as of June 19 at 1730. You may wonder why this is intermixed
with my SW and other bands DX. It is my subtle suggestion that there

** OKLAHOMA. 255 MCW kHz, June 18 at 1456, SW, NDB at StillWater, is JJBBA. Suspect it`s underpowered adding to noise level problems (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 13564, June 18 at 0702, CODAR Morse ID fires thrice as I happen to be here checking for K6FRC beacon. It`s WRPW895, the one with several locations up the CA coast from San Francisco. And the CODAR swirshing itself pauses during the ID thrice (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 13565, June 18 at 0703 UT, HIFER beacon K6FRC in Patterson CA is JBA vs CODAR and its ID.

Also JJBBA unreadable CW about 13555 from another beacon on the opposite side of the ISM 13560 RF ID beepery always there 24/7 presumably from stores around Enid. A whole bunch are listed circa 13555:

WORLD OF RADIO 2195 monitoring: confirmed Saturday June 17 at 2232 the 2230:30 on WRMIs: 5850, S6/S8 with storm crashes tho none locally at WA0RCR, MO SDR, and S8/S9 into Athens GA SDR. Also 15770, no signal into target Europe, UTwente! But S6/S7 into Missouri; 7730 no signals anywhere, still off without explanation.

Also confirmed UT Sunday June 18 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S7/S9 but noisy into Georgia SDR.

Also confirmed UT Sunday June 18, NEW at 0130 on WRMI 9395, S9+10/25 into Missouri SDR. Gospel huxter was cut off at 0129 for music fill, 0129.5 ID.

Also confirmed UT Sunday June 18 at 0319, S9+10/20 with storm crashes on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, about 6 minutes into so started circa 0313.
