As for Bolivia, in the UT-4 zone, I`m again hearing that JBA carrier slightly below 6025 like on Xmas eve, suspected Red Patria Nueva; can anyone get any audio? Nothing on 5952.4 or 6134.8; 3310 could be on but blocked here by local mix. Glenn

Even with the massive migration of Brazilian medium wave stations to FM, a
simple check of what is received in the interior of the state of São Paulo
(125 km from my home in São Bernardo) shows that the 530 to 1710 kHz band
remains strong!
I can't classify this action as a DX-Camp one-man, but on trips like this, I
always carry radio and antenna equipment with me.
The old Sony ICF2001D remains firm even after nearly 40 years of its
manufacture. The ferrite loop built by our great friend Rene Passold was
decisive in the quality of these receptions.
