Radios: ICOM R9500, Expert Electronics MB1 (SDR)
Antennas: 6-80 M Vertical, Coax Gutter/Downspout, Attic Discone Dakar, Senegal (MWARA AFI-1) ATC on 6535 (USB) @ 0219 UT - Flights were
calling in with position reports or answering SELCALs. ATC responds and
easily speaks English, French, Arabic or Portuguese as heard. If other
issues flights are routed to 6673 or 8861 for frequencies as heard in the
past. GPS location of 14.44.63 North / 17.28.77 W. Signal report of S6. (R.
Levenson - NJ) Gander Radio on 5616 (USB) NAT-B (MWARA) - 48.95 LAT / 54.6 LONG. On @ 0225
American Airlines FLT getting SELCAL (AGJR), Next Air France FLT 333 for
SELCAL (HNQR). Signal report of S9. (R. Levenson - NJ) Gander Radio on 8864 (USB) NAT-B (MWARA) - At 1622 UT with flight getting
SELCAL check. At 1623 Giant Flt 4231 received SELCAL check. Signal of S8
(R. Levenson - NJ) New York Radio (CAR-B MWARA for the Caribbean) on 6586 (USB) @ 1618 UT.
