I'm opening up my subscription library on DXer.ca to the general public -

That contains a lot of John's fine writing.

Start here -

I still use the chokes, for which he kindly sent the material (ferrite
rings and pieces of coax).

I remember John as a fabulous friend and fellow DXer - and as an
exceptionally knowledgeable DXer as well! Fortunately many of his
articles remain preserved and still available for today's hobbyists on
DXing.info:

http://www.dxing.info/equipment/coax_leadin_bryant.pdf

I still get several inquiries annually from random readers concerning
his articles, and I'm so sad to have to reply to them that John is no
longer here to answer their questions and comments.

I miss John tooââNever got to meet him in Person, but I communicated with him for many years and we were members of some of the same radio clubs going back to the Late 70âs and Early 80âs. His accomplishments and writings are Legendary.

I still have an ETON E-100 Slider ULR Radio that he and Steve Ratzlaff constructed and sent to me back in the early days of ULR DXing!

Every time I look at it, I think of Johnââ

Mauno, and I too have some of his chokes with his very distinctive writing
style on them! Treasured items! Walt Salmaniw
