Earlier the UT daytime 17880 kHz towards EaAF/Horn of Africa via Bamako tx center #II in MALI relay. and at 22.12 / 22.15 UT REE Nobeljas too on 15389.991 kHz towards SoAfrica, SoEaAfrica, S=9+5dB 15520even kHz towards ME, Horn of Africa, Indian Ocean, SoAS, and East Africa target. Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2024 Subject: [HCDX] Glenn Hauser logs March 31-April 1, 2024SPAIN. 17855, March 31 at 2209 direct, NO signal from REE`s A24 NAm frequency. It was on this morning. No English on Sunday, but better be back by Monday 2200. Then checking Maryland SDR: 17855 off; 15520 ME VG off the back S7/S9+5; much weaker on 15390, 17715. And yes, 9690 of B23 is not on either. (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) SPAIN. 17715.13 approx., Mon Apr 1 at 1758, VP signal here, 1759 the REE IS JBA as S American beam to start at 1800 weekdays. By 1820 it`s closer to 17715.00. But still *no* signal on 17855 for N America! One transmitter OFF; or on some unfound extraneous frequency? That leaves 15520 our best chance backwards from ME beam. At 1825, UTwente finds VG S9+20 17715.013; VG S9+15/20 15520.001; G S9+10 15389.992; NO 17855, nor possibly typoed 17885. Mon April 1 at 2200 direct, still no 17855 for the first English broadcast of the season! We could make do with 15520 to ME off the back, S9+10/20 but noisy where the topic previewed is women in Spain in engineering. 17715 for SAm is S9/+10 but fluttery and echoey. 15390 for Africa JBA. At 2215 I measure on the R75 without a correxion factor: 17715.047; ASAP via UTwente at 2228, S6/S7 in Synch displays 17715.012 --- so at 17+ MHz, my rx reads 35 Hz high. DX/SWL/MEDIA PROGRAMS completely updated for A24 season: http://www.worldofradio.com/dxpgms.html
** ANTARCTICA [non]. Correct date for this was Sat Mar 30 of course, not 31: 15475.98 RC USB, Sat Mar 30 at 2226, NO signal of LRA36 into Argentine SDR; 2303 recheck something distorted and at first there seems to be a JBA RC, then just heavy splash from 15480 Chinese. Not in B23 skeds, but HFCC A24 shows CNR Beijing in Chinese from 2300, 100 kW at 222 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** BELIZE. 28258 CW, April 1 at 2210, EEEEEEEEEE VVV DE V31HQ/B EK57NF. Just about the only beacon on band. Nothing about it on their QRZ.com page but lots about their shack burning down 3 years ago, and all the contributors to rebuild: ``V31HQ Belize flag Belize BARC Headquarter * * * Club - Contest - Event Station * Belize Amateur Radio Club Maya Hill Rd, Blackman Eddy, Belmopan POB159, Belize`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** COLOMBIA. 5910-, April 1 at 0124, JBA carrier, presumed Alcaraván Radio still on, if not 24h, but no match for my line noise level (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15140, April 1 at 1524, RHC flanked by spurblobs approx. plus/minus 3 kHz and much weaker plus/minus approx. 6 kHz. Something`s always wrong at RHC. The Other Side: Opinion - 'Electricity and Food' is also 'Homeland and Life' Castroism owes its longevity to preventing the people who oppose it, and might overthrow it, from organizing and advancing a coherent set of ideas. Rafaela Cruz La Habana 27 Mar 2024 - 16:33 CET Protestors on March 17, 2024 in Santiago de Cuba. It is difficult to find a revolution among those that have changed the destiny of a nation, or humanity as a whole, that has not taken shape based on the agglutinative economic misfortune of human groups only having in common misery and a lack of hope in the system... https://diariodecuba.com/cuba/1711553622_53761.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** GUAM. 12060, Mon April 1 at 1537, S5 YL seems English intonation but hardly can recognize a word. HFCC shows KSDA, 100 kW at 300 degrees, 1530-1600 English except bod = Tibetan on days 5 and 6 = Thu & Fri. Hard to imagine Tibetans as Seventh-Day-Adventists, let alone mainstream Christians. Culture clash (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALDIVES [non]. Re 11620, VOMK missing, Ron Howard replies: ``The end of the Maldives Voice of the Martyrs Korea --- Hi Glenn - I will miss the opportunity to listen to the rarely heard Maldivian (Dhivehi) language. Here is my audio of a typical broadcast (Sept 27, 2023) - https://app.box.com/s/rconybrcm6jaacpfkbhyd5wr94h1y6nh -- Ron (Calif.) "MALDIVES BROADCAST ENDING ON MARCH 31ST, 2024 When this project began, we said that the “enemy was roaring like a lion”, due to a series of events that almost stopped this project before it started: * The Maldives government thwarted the use of a medium-wave signal directed that would target the Maldives. * The Maldives increased their internet censorship and surveillance towards Christian material. * Our Maldivian radio announcers became worried about the recording their voices for use on the broadcast and declined to record. * Audio Bible content in the Dhivehi language, which was originally promised, was found to be not yet approved for radio broadcast use and additional Christian content in Dhivehi was hacked and deleted by the government. * Our original radio partners decided that they couldn't offer any additional help or assistance with the project . . . . . * Recorded and broadcasted the gospel into the Maldives for 731 days straight (once our broadcast ends on March 31st, 2024)"`` https://vomkorea-com.translate.goog/en/project/maldives-ministry/?_x_tr_sl=ko&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc See that for much more about the obstacles they faced. Also led to quite a discussion thread on the WOR iog. April DX Fanzine has two QSLs for 11620 filed as Uzbekistan, tho station says nothing about site. I`m convinced it cannot be UZB for propagational reasons, more likely Taiwan or maybe Australia. Now that it`s all over with nothing to lose, station should come clean and reveal true site! (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6950 USB, April 1 at 0136, pirate music S9/+10. These say it`s Outhouse Radio, with some fuzzy OHR SSTVs: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,127953.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6925 AM, April 1 at 0137, JBA pirate music. These say an unID turned into Captain Morgan Shortwave: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,127952.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ROMANIA. 11800, March 31 at 2200, RRI English now here for A24, JBA direct much weaker than 11785 TURKEY, q.v. But into Maryland SDR it`s VG, supposedly -65 Hz offset - rx is miscalibrated as UTwente shows .000 or at most minus one Hz. Maryland puts WWV 15000 minus 82 Hz, 10000 minus 55 Hz! At 2214 `RRI Encyclopedia`; back to Turkey for mailbag which proves to be a repeat, so I quit that and resume Romaniaing. `Culture Event` until 2225, `Romanian Without Tears` language lesson, subject words about farming - many of them are cognate to English or Spanish. But it`s hard to be sure of all the proper phonemes without a visible text, reception even more perfect, recording so repeatable. Over already at 2231, `Music A to Z` featuring a popular singer from the 70s/80s. Unlike VOT, RRI axually identifies the music played with info about the performers! 2242 `In the Spotlight` about a foundation providing Romanian language texts for Ukrainian refugee children, of which there are 32K in the country, i.e. with translations I think to help them in schools. 2252 `Focus on Romania` with a folk tune. 2255 s/off as broadcast for W Europe and Japan, only. But here we are directly beyond WEu. 2256 IS once and off, with finesse. Better produxion and English than VOT, and no genocidal undercurrent (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SAUDI ARABIA. 11935, April 1 at 1534, horrible blob still roaring, S4/S5 direct. Also at 1945, S9+15 into UTwente (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. And yes, 9690 of B23 is not on either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. At 2215 I measure on the R75 without a correxion factor: 17715.047; ASAP via UTwente at 2228, S6/S7 in Synch displays 17715.012 --- so at 17+ MHz, my rx reads 35 Hz high (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [and non]. 11785, Sunday March 31 at 2200, A24 VOT English is VG direct, S9+15/25, much better as to be expected than ex-5960 in B23 at 2300. 11780 Brasil is not on, so no ACI thence: I`d think they would surely be on for `A Voz do Brasil` hour. Now for convenience I`m on the Maryland remote. 2216 ending repeat of `Weekly Analysis` about Egyptian œconomy, music. 2222 TRT Vorld promo. 2223 `Letterbox`: host is very sad because one of his best friends died yesterday after battling cancer for 15 years: Therefore, this is a repeat of last week. We`re sad for him too, but glad to hear something of a humanizing element on such a broadcast! But tune-out this repeat. It`s too convenient now to tune over to the RRI`s simul English 15 kHz away on 11800, see ROMANIA. After it closes at 2256 I recheck 11785 and it`s already off too, no extra German (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 17815, April 1 at 1523, S7/S9 strong sig, language? HFCC now updated April 1 says VOT in Turkish, 13-16, 310 degrees to WEu, so also NAm (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 11785, April 1 at 2202, VOT English, S9+20/30 direct but with horrible squeal, blobs roughly 11783.65 & 11786.35. ANF on the R75 doesn`t help much: needs a sharp single het, not a blob. Good excuse to dispense with monitoring it today. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler. Romania instead on 11800? JBA carrier direct. Spain instead? q.v., our frequency is still AWOL. Or as Wolfgang Büschel puts it: ``TRT at 22.00 UT April 1st noted on 11785 kHz, to ITU zones 4,7,8,9,11N,27,28W. TERRIBLE audio modulation performance, the FAULTY Emirler unit in use on that channel, 9 x strings of 100 Hertz apart distance seen / visible on either sideband, mean carrier 11785 kHz string, = plus 18 x 100 Hertz distance apart strings in total, powerhouse signal. 73 wolfie df5sx`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 13635, re my previous VOT log, published as 13625 in the NASWA Flashsheet! Not my mistake, editor must have changed it, why? Copying and pasting would prevent such errors (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2236 monitoring: Not confirmed Sunday March 31 at 2000 UT, new summer timing, on IRRS via AM Italia, 1323 kHz, no signal into UTwente, nor nearby Noale SDR. Like Friday March 29, off the air; what`s wrong? Not on LW 207 nor MW 918 either -- but confirmed on IRRS webcast https://www.nexus.org/mp3/ Confirmed Sunday March 31 at 2130 UT, new summer timing, on SW Radio, Germany, 3975.001, S9/+5 into UTwente; also confirmed // 6160.000 but JBA S7, must be skipping over, and with dittering so bandwidth must be below 7 kHz. Recheck UTwente at 2206 after SWR is really off, weak 6159.929, must be WBCQ TOMBS. Confirmed UT Monday April 1 at 0030 on WRMI 7780, S7/S9 into Maryland SDR. But cut to music at 0056 before I`m finished, 0059 sounds Arabic bit, 0059.5 ID, 0100 TOMBS. Also confirmed UT Monday April 1 from 0306 on Area 51 via WBCQ 6159.932, JBA into UTwente which I check for accurate readout, since Maryland SDR calibration is way off; but at UTw heavy ACI from Turkey English now on 6165.005 not to N America. Late start since JL was in no hurry to gotta-go. Also confirmed Monday April 1 at 1945 the 1930 on SW Radio, Germany, into UTwente, S9+5/10 on 6160.001, S9+10/15 on 3975.001. Next: 0330 UT Tuesday WRMI 7780 to SW 1300 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955 to SSE [also web-, phonecast; jammed?] 2330 UT Tuesday WRMI 9395 to NNW 2330 UT Tuesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 [NEW] 1200 UT Wednesday Unique R, NSW 5035-USB or 3210-USB 1230 UT Wednesday Unique R, NSW 5035-USB or 3210-USB [previous #2235][SW suspended but still streamed?] 1400 UT Wednesday WRMI 9955 [also web-, phonecast; jammed?] 1930 UT Wednesday SW Radio, Germany 3975 & 6160 2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S 0130 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW 1630 UT Thursday SW Radio, Germany 6160 As noncommercial services, financial support appreciated. Thanks this week to Richard Colgan, TX for a contribution via PayPal to woradio at yahoo.com and says, ``Thanks for your work. Best wishes and 73`` One may also contribute by MO or check in US funds on a US bank to: Glenn Hauser, PO Box 1684, Enid OK 73702 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. (7490v), March 31 at 2258, WBCQ webcast, I almost forgot to check this Sunday the ex-UBMP/FTIOM hour, as I was monitoring Spain, Turkey and Romania, qqvv. from 2200, but just in time to hear a very lofi rendition of `Easter Parade` tune, from some old movie? Unknown what program, YL outro as this *was* an available timeslot at 7-8 pm! timing an hour off; and `Plain Old Doug` show would be at 9 pm = 01 UT?? 2300 UT correctly into `Le Show` which I can listen to as long as CBSTV is overrunning a stupid ballgame before `60 Minutes` past 2330 until 2343: First story is about evidence that Russia is `Targeting Americans` as in `Habana Syndrome`, microwave or ultrasound weapon, which has pained American officials elsewhere including inside USA. Transcript, also audiovideo should be availablized: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/havana-syndrome-culprit-investigation-new-evidence-60-minutes-transcript/ (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report dispatched at 0255 UT April 2 _ Hard-Core-DX mailing list Hard-Core-DX@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx http://www.hard-core-dx.com/

WORLD OF RADIO HITLIST
Hi Glenn, my latest Hitlist update. https://www.w4uvh.net/hitlist.htm 1) Updated UTC offset notations for change to DST: Germany (HCJB), Greece (VoG), Romania (RRI) and Spain (REE) 2) Aggregator - radioben: Service no longer seems to be fully maintained, although some podcasts remain and links updated to access these. 3) Aggregator - Radio Garden: Labels updated to reflect that the service is only fully available for users outside of UK; UK users are restricted to access of UK stations only 4) Bangladesh - Bangladesh Betar: Removed links to programme schedule and livestream schedule - neither can be found anymore on website 5) Brazil - R Brasil Central: Updated link to programme schedule 6) Bulgaria - Spaceline Bulgaria: Added link to Spaceline Bulgaria's home and news pages 7) Canada - BVB: Updated frequency links to new A-24 schedule 8) China - V Tibet: Updated labels and links for former Holy Tibet to current Hello Xizang programming 9) Oman - R Sultanate of Oman: Updated home page link to navigate to Sultanate of Oman radio portal 10) Russia - R Sputnik: Updated links to home page and live stream 11) Russia - R Rossii: Updated links to home page and live stream The next update is scheduled for early April (to update DST for New Zealand) Best wishes and 73, Alan Roe ** ALGERIA. 17600, March 31 at 1445, fair signal, Ifrikya FM still here in A24. Full sked, needlessly long, one hour at a time, with all familiar frequencies, maybe no changes at all from B23: https://new.hfcc.org/data/schedbybrc.php?seas=A24&broadc=TDA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98, March 30 at 2359, algo here into Argentine SDR, gone at 0000* March 31 - normal closing time for LRA36: trouble is, mostly absent during random chex previous sesquihour, as in previous report, supposedly from *2200 on Saturdays only (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ASCENSION. 9440, March 31 at 0630, S8/9+20, African language mentions Gaza, BBC. Hausa now sked 0629-0700, 250 kW, 65 degrees. See also UKQOGBANI [non] (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** COLOMBIA. 5910-, March 31 at 0632, no signal from Alcaraván Radio. Has anyone heard it lately? B23 had been blocked 03-05 by CRI via Cuba, but that`s reverted to 9790 for A24. HFCC shows nothing else entire night hours on 5910; but ``reserved`` 24 h for IRDR via Vatican placeholder (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. Re yesterday`s report: ``As mentioned several weeks ago, RHC Arabic is Sundays only (French is Monday to Saturday). Temporary situation? Right now (1808) [March 31] Arabic is aired on 15140. Jean-Michel Aubier, France`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15140 // better 11760, Sunday March 31 at 1520, weekly Esperanto from RHC reconfirmed, both only poor to fair (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** EAST TURKISTAN. 17735, March 31 at 1445, Chinese dramatic narration, S8/S9 with flutter. HFCC A24 shows CRI in Chinese at 13-16, 500 kW, 308 degrees via Kashgar for western Europe, but carries on well USward. From the land of imperialist ChiCom genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** GUAM. 11590, March 31 at 1456, S6/S8 in Turkic language with keyword ``Radiosa``, address partially pronounced in English but can`t copy reveal. A24 HFCC shows KTWR in Kazakh, daily 1445-1500, 250 kW at 305 degrees. Beware, some `KTWR` broadcasts are really via Madagascar, but apparently not this one (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALDIVES [non]. 11620, March 31 at 1520, NO signal from V of Martyrs Korea; had been extremely reliable from secret site, must have moved for A24. I have queried HQ, WTF,K, no point in even asking about site. WRTH 2024 frequency page 722 shows TWN as if this were certain; page 554 under KOREA SOUTH says 11620ust - which means Taiwan, exact site unknown. However, header mentions only sites Kununurra and Tashkent, but all other broadcasts tagged tac. Some continue to claim this is Uzbekistan as in Aoki, not EiBi, but I say over and over, Uz is unbelievable propagationally here in deep North America. Editors, don`t you dare file this log under Uzbekistan (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALI. 5995, March 31 at 0634, S9+10 direct, noise blob is back. No trace of any program audio if it were mixing by ORTM, nor externally jammed. Last night there was nothing; sometimes ORTM alone OK (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NEW ZEALAND. 13690, March 31 at 0645, English at S9+20/30, SSOB. New frequency for RNZP, per HFCC at 06-10, 50 kW each at 325 and 35 degrees. But own sked shows Pacific only = 35 degrees, and at 0559-0858 only, preceded by 17675, proceeded by 11725 - and then from 1259, 7440 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. Heavy tropo blob over OK and vicinity, March 31 at 1511 UT, so DTV bandscan finds lots of BAD signals on `empty` channels; RF 28 decoding with ION, so KTPX Okmulgee. RF14 not decoding but PSIP label 8-1 ABC barely visible; and a BAD signal on RF19 which is extremely unusual vs KAUT OKC, our only ATSC-3 signal which I can`t see or even detect via the ATSC-1 STB. RF 22, KOKI ``23`` Tulsa also in briefly. RF 14, 8-1, ABC is surely KTUL Tulsa, which also has the same 5-channel lineup on RF 24 which is blocked here by KOKH ``25`` OKC. Rabbitears.info shows 24 is axually a lowpower relay in McAlester, which is roughly 75 miles to the south - so why in the world does it not have its own callsign?? IIRC, KTUL used to be on RF10 but got rid of yuk VHF. RF 19 must be KOTV Tulsa, which we are much more likely to see on RF 26 --- NO! 19 KOTV is really a low-power relay also in McAlester: same question as for KTUL. No way that is going to mess up KAUT OKC, but there are no full-powers elsewhere in OK on RF 19, just a translator in Altus. Beyond that would have to search/guess it`s from adjacent KS, MO, AR or TX (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** SAUDI ARABIA. 11935, March 31 at 1459, horrible roarer still here in A24, S5 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SLOVAKIA [non]. 15769.96 approx., March 31 at 0650, RSI in Spanish, S7/S9, off-frequency says my NRD, unusual for WRMI. But UTwente at 1652 check shows only 15769.997. Yes, WRMI-9 with System H daily at 0630-0700 RSI (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. 17855, March 31 at 1447, REE Spanish, S9/+5, confirmed on new NAm frequency for A24, ex-9690, which was totally useless over an all-day path, they never seem to figure out, B-season after B-season. Now we must hope that 17855 will hold up at least until 2230 over partial night-path English M/W/F at 2200. Now only stronger signal on band is Martisky on 17865. REE also on weaker 15520 for ME. For Af registered alternatives 15360, 15385, 15390 none confirmed yet (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 13635, March 31 at 0643, S7/S9 of plaintive flutish music. TRT Turkish now A24 sked 06-13, SSOB except for NZ. 500 kW, 310 degrees from Emirler for W Europe, but NAm is directly beyond. 13635 had been the 1330 English frequency in B23, now 1230 on 17620 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U K Q O G B A N I [non]. 9915 & 9410, March 31 at 0626 & 0630, BBCWS VG on reactivated traditional channels for A24, 9915 slightly better at S8/9+5 direct, news headlines on halfhour. Nothing on 12095. Latest HFCC as of March 31 at 1605, is still dated March 27! 9915 is scheduled 06-07 only, half-power 125 kW, 65 degrees from ASCENSION. So is 9410, but 27 degrees; and BBC English on 9410 also at 05-06; and via PHT Philippines at 10-12, 250 kW at 200 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO SCHEDULE, now fully updated for A24: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html WORLD OF RADIO 2236 monitoring: confirmed UT Sunday March 31 at 0000 on WRMI 9955, S9/+15 into Maryland SDR. Also confirmed UT Sunday March 31 from 0329 the 0315v on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, S9+15 into nearby MO SDR. Would have been sufficient into Athens GA SDR except for storm crashes; also occasional QRhaM, right on frequency presumably LSB. Such offfrequenciness smax of Tashkent, and sure`nuff. HFCC shows `15475` ENC with unspecified programs in Korean, Japanese, at 1300-1357, 1430-1500, 100 kW at 68 degrees from TAC. Aoki & EiBi had nothing on 15475 in B23 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** VATICAN. 9710, March 31 at 0628, S6/S9 liturgy in listed Ukrainian, VR registered 0605-0700 Sundays only. At 0638 found same on 11815, S4/S7. To my ear, the ``harmony`` sounds off-key. HFCC shows 9710 250 kW at 54 degrees; 11815 250 kW, 62 degrees from SMG (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 21490, March 31 at 1442, JBA signal is the OSOB. Nothing in A24 HFCC as of March 27. In B23, EiBi & Aoki had CNR1 jamming and SOH at 23-15: of course would never be in any HFCC. Maybe, tho propagation unlikely at this hour. Jammer site could well be western `China` for skip distance into more populous east (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) This report despatched at 1957 UT March 31 _ Hard-Core-DX mailing list Hard-Core-DX@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/hard-core-dx http://www.hard-core-dx.com/

Sunday, March 31 2024
WORLD OF RADIO SCHEDULES updated for A24 and DST in Europe will be available by 0400 UT March 31: http://www.worldofradio.com/radioskd.html
** ANTARCTICA [non]. 15475.98 RC USB, Sat Mar 31 at 2226, NO signal of LRA36 into Argentine SDR; 2303 recheck something distorted and at first there seems to be a JBA RC, then just heavy splash from 15480 Chinese. Not in B23 skeds, but HFCC A24 shows CNR Beijing in Chinese from 2300, 100 kW at 222 degrees (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CANADA. 15034 USB, March 30 at 1513-1518+, Trenton Military with at least 5 minutes straight of `no report received` from several Canadian locations only, even Trenton itself. At least the timechex are correct. It would be interesting to know exactly by what routing reports are received, and where and how the failure(s) may occur (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 15140, March 30 at 1820, RHC in French, with squeal, only S7 into Maryland SDR and zero signal into UTwente. WRTH 2024 showed Arabic at 1900-1930 on 15140, which one would expect to find at 1800 during DST, since we know that English has shifted from 2000 to 1900. Homepage also says ``Ahora Reproduciendo Arabe`` but we hear Spanish instead, not French either. So is there any Arabic now on RHC? Certainly Arabic website: https://www.radiohc.cu/ar Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALI. 5995, March 30 at 0619, NO signal direct from ORTM, no noise blob either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [non]. 5960, March 30 at 2305, no signal of VOT into UTwente, but *2315.7 Chinese from EAST TURKISTAN chops on. May be ordinary TRT failure, but I should have checked 11785 after 2200 in case they got a jump on A24. That`s wherewhen English to us should be, or not, for the next 7 months. HFCC shows no CCI or ACI, but Brasil`s bigsig on 11780 is never registered (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A [and non].
