Thanks Bill,
Six/seven weeks out from winter solstice and thankfully it gets dark a little later everyday. Tonight I tuned them at 05:55 PM local time and even though there is a delay of several seconds, their radio signal is // to their web site at: http://www.inpi.gob.mx/ecosgobmx/xeqin.php Just heard "estes es equis e cue I, enne La Voz de Valle". The announcements frequently mention Baja California and alternate between a man's and a woman's voice in between local music. Happy to put this one in the log!!! Thanks again and giud DX On Fri, Feb 15, 2019 at 7:00 AM Bill Block <billblock@cableone.net> wrote: > Hi Joe > > My best guess is that you heard XEQIN as I heard them under KSL last night > here in Arizona. Good evening,
At about 6:00 local time (0200 Zulu) I heard some Spanish on 1160 occasionally overpowering KSL in Utah. Program content was a mix of talk and more traditional music. At 02:26 I heard instrumentals of "Hey Jude" and "Unchained Melody", the first being played on flute. Unfortunately for me, I had no internet access while I could hear them. We had a lot of rain in the past 24 hours and didn't even have cell phone service. Then an hour later, the internet returned, but no longer heard them. I looked up XEQIN 1160 with a web browser and it took me to live feed of their program. Content is similar, but did not hear the "La Valle" ID though. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Hi Joe
My best guess is that you heard XEQIN as I heard them under KSL last night here in Arizona. XEQIN is heard most nights under KSL. Bill Block Prescott Valley, AZ
