DERECHO EVENT, TOPPLED A TOWER IN THE NIGHT ARRAY, THE DAYTIME
NON-DIRECTIONAL FACILITIES WERE NOT HARMED.

WE ARE REQUESTING TO OPERATE AN EMERGENCY ANTENNA CONSISTENT WITH 73.1680
CONSISTING OF THE NON-DIRECTIONAL DAYTIME FACILITIES, WHICH IS A VERTICAL
ELEMENT OF THE DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA SYSTEM, WITH POWER REDUCED TO 25% OR
LESS OF THE NOMINAL LICENSED NIGHTTIME POWER, OR, A HIGHER POWER NOT
EXCEEDING LICENSED POWER WHILE INSURING THAT THE RADIATED FILED STRENGTH
DOES NOT EXCEED THAT AUTHORIZED IN ANY GIVEN AZIMUTH FOR THE CORRESPONDING
NIGHTTIME HOURS OF DIRECTIONAL OPERATION. EMERGENCY OPERATION.

THE INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC WILL BE SERVED BY WMT CONTINUING TO PROVIDE
SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY DURING REPAIRS.
