[IRCA] TP 30 Aug Victoria version
Almost all Asia, with one DU.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK two men in Japanese 1320UT, last kick at the can, soon faded.
747 JOIB English lessons 1259UT, rivalling 750 in strength by 1307UT
774 JOUB English lessons, strengthening to pips 1300UT, sometimes
stronger than 770 carrier (which was pretty fady admittedly)
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR likely man in DU English 1328UT, everything but 1242 gone by
now...an odd pairing
828 JOBB English lessons 1259UT
972 HLCA man in Korean, another man agreeing 1152UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1306UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK man in Japanese 1212UT //594
603 soft music, soft voiced man 1308UT
702 NHK2 synchros. Pretty weak, but definite pips at 1300UT, and
parallel in bits with 774 after hour, woman talking
891 JOHK man in Japanese 1217UT //594
945 CNR1 vocal music followed by 5 and 1 pips 1200UT
954 JOKR? man and woman talking, possibly Japanese 1259UT, 2 and 1
pips on hour
1017 CRI heard as early as 1218UT with apparent Korean talk by man
and woman. ID'd at 1300UT with chimes and fanfare
1053 Korean jammer, rather underpowered today 1224UT
1134 pop music, man and woman talking, Japanese inflection
1242 woman talking faintly, into "Sounds of Silence" 1329UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
621 738 918 963 981 1098 1179 1287 1296 1314 1422
best wishes,
Nick
