[IRCA] TP 22 Aug Victoria version

Another mixture of Asia, Australia and New Zealand; Aussie and NZ came a little later generally but not always, while some of the Asians held on until after 1300UT

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

612 likely 4QR but no //. Woman and man in DU English, another woman on the phone, 1254-5UT
747 JOIB English lessons, briefly at this level 1222UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1252UT
1053 Korean jammer 1224UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1239UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 RNZ National woman in DU English 1234UT, ID'd later //675
594 JOAK man talking excitedly in Japanese 1240UT
792 4RN ABC fanfare briefly at this level 1300UT
891 man talking to woman on phone, DU English 1316UT
954 JOKR woman in Japanese 1246UT
972 HLCA man and woman in Korean 1228UT
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1224UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 2RN 6 pips 1300UT, but weak, couldn't hear fanfare, but moments later man talking //792 but slightly offset
621 immense carrier 1311UT, but only faint music with a rhythmic bass line
675 RNZ National woman talking 1255UT //567
702 slow vocal music 1244UT
738 pop music 1236UT
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection 1224UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

  909 1026 1098 1116 1242 1269 1323 1386 1422 1503 1575

best wishes,

Nick
