[IRCA] S. AZ Tuesday TP

I built an E/W (null to the east) dual delta terminated KAZ loop two days ago, thanks to the Duremberger paper and to advice from KAZ himself, two days ago and have tested it the past two mornings, hoping to get some MW TP reception. Monday morning had terrible conditions but this Tuesday morning had presumed-1566 HLAZ briefly fade up to medium (easy copy) level, totally dominating the channel and driving the strong local Tucson station QRM down to inaudibility, peaking at 1250 utc. It had been poorly heard for 15 minutes before, and soon faded away completely after that. A number of weak hets on other channels but nothing but HLAZ producing audio. A check with my previous main antenna, an active whip, had HLAZ buried in the local domestic AMBC QRM, so it does appear the DKAZ did what it's supposed to do. I'm south and west of Tucson about 15-20 miles but I couldn't erect the loop for best nulls that direction but I'm still seeing decent nulls. So I'm happy with the initial results for TP reception. I also DX LF NDBs and am finding this loop to be an excellent performer at LF too
