Rick:
I wouldn't give up after one email. Sometimes emails get tossed in the spam bucket or whatever. Gerry answers all emails so I'd try again.
And you could ask on the list if anyone could repair it.
Or maybe you want an excuse for a new toy and are happy to declare it dead?
Chuck

Which is the reason I'd have to pass on it. I need something that'll fit inside a suitcase or a gym bag. I have a Grundig AN-200 to cover MW with, but I'm now on the hunt for a portable loop or passive antenna to DX longwave with. The Quantum QX Pro loop that I've owned for the past 5 or 6 years is now officially kaput, and the last e-mail I sent to the manufacturer about having the short in it fixed went unanswered, so it's going up on the auction block at the joint club convention in Kansas City.
