I lived in AK for over 12 years. I started DXing in 1962 in Seward. A great location on the coast at that time one 250w AM station on 1340. But DX has been better on the Oregon Coast for me. But of course the receivers of today were better than the ones I had at that time. I knew nothing about antennas other than a simple long wire. I did get some TA's over the pole in the Winter. Wish I knew then what I know now. hi.
