[IRCA] TP 2 Apr Victoria version
Not an enthusiastic morning. Maximum signal strengths noted below
were often reached once, and briefly. There wer hints of a high band
enhancement, with carriers coming out of the mud around 1330UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not really. Lots of splatter
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB English lessons creeping through the splash 1310UT
1566 HLAZ men in Japanese 1256UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK men talking //594 1330UT
594 JOAK men talking Japanese 1327UT
828 JOBB man and woman in Japanese, jazzy interlude 1259UT, then pips
972 HLCA man in Korean 1324UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 JOIB man talking //774 1325UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1242 1287 1323 1386 1422 1503 1539 1575 1584 1593
best wishes,
Nick
