[IRCA] TP 13 Mar Victoria version

Here, it was also pretty poor right up to 1400UT, when things started to open up a little bit.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ erratically fading, but woman in Chinese peaked to this level first at 1357UT, then returned to this level several times over the next 15 minutes or so.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK pips 1400UT, woman in Japanese
774 JOUB woman in Japanese 1400UT just after pips
1575 VoA man in SE Asian talk 1359UT, VoA fanfare shortly after, then heard a "VoA" jingle 1403UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIK man and woman talking //774 1343UT
1593 CNR1 likely with woman in Chinese 1409UT, man in Chinese 1413UT; erratic peaks, and also had traces of NHK2 //774 as well.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man in Japanese //594 1403UT
1269 JOFM/JOHW occasional bits of music //1287 would rise out of the murk 1413UT; reaching here a bit, there wasn't much else, hi
1287 JOHR woman talking sounding Japanese 1412UT, laid back music //1269
1386 NHK2 man talking //774 1416UT
1503 JOUK woman in Japanese //594 1403UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

738 828 1242

best wishes,

Nick
