[IRCA] TP 10 Mar Victoria version
I suspect that Brian Rachford's observations about earlier DX
conditions obtained here also, as things seemed more consistently
lively between 1100 and 1200UT than closer to sunrise here, but there
were still brief peaks later.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman and man 1109UT, and a number of other times, becoming
less frequent as time moved on.
774 JOUB English lessons ending 1259UT, several other times at this
strength also
1566 HLAZ just generally loud. First noted at this level with woman
in Chinese at 1156UT, and many times during the Japanese
program, and ending with a flourish with woman and man in Chinese 1358UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB English lessons //774 1315UT
828 JOBB Chinese lessons 1336UT
972 HLCA man in Korean 1408UT
1053 Korean jammer 1327UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK man in Japanes //594 1157UT
837 JOQK woman in Japanese //594 1109UT
873 JOGB English lessons 1201UT //774, but nothing much on the hour
891 JOHK man in Japanese 1357UT //594 and stronger
1134 JOQR man in Japanese 1104UT, never returned to this level
1575 VoA likely with man in SE Asian language 1402UT, little to ID it
on the hour though
1593 CNR1 likely with man in Chinese
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
702 NHK2 man in Japanese //774 1104UT, not noted later
1116 man talking, maybe DU English 1348UT
1422 man talking 1259UT, Japanese cadence to it , but nothing
identifiable on the hour
1503 JOUK man in Japanese //594 1304UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
558 603 612 738 864 1008 1179 1206 1215 1269 1278 1287 1386 1323
1431 1494 1575
best wishes,
Nick
