There were a lot of TA's coming through when I checked at 7 p.m. EST / 0000 UTC.
I'll check again at 10 p.m. EST / 0300 UTC.
As far as 1500 goes, only normal-sounding WFED here. If anything's under, it would be the Venezuelan. But we're talking about way under. And no sign of buzzy wobbly warbling here. If it's southwest (e.g. Mexico City), it's right into the teeth of WFED on the same bearing so it's going to be seriously buried.

Subject: [NRC-AM] High band TA opening
At 2100 EST [0200 GMT] on 2-9 there has been a big TA opening on much of the
upper part of the band. Saudi-1521 like a local, Saudi-1512 good, Mid East
signals with audio on 1539, 1548 and 1575, and a station on 1134 sounding
like Mid East music although maybe Spain, and signals on 1089 and 909,
probably UK. Algeria on 549 and 531 [barely] and someone on 183. At 2120
1134 has chanting so possibly Kuwait.
Ben Dangerfield, Wallingford, Pa.
PS I've not yet heard anything weird on 1500. Nothing but WFED here, night
and day
