Hi Paul,

Wow, what a switch!  As many know I lived in AK from 1955-67. I started DXing in Seward in 1962. Dxing from the 49th state is a different World. I know where Galena is and it is quite remote, as flying in and out is the way of travel. KIYU used to be part of a 3 station Educational network including KSKO Mc Graph, and KZPA Fort Yukon. Those two I have heard and QSL'd, but  I have not heard KIYU as yet. Any chance of a DX test? Good luck Paul, and I will be looking forward to any DX reports. It is hard to find a location in today's World where there are no AM's heard. It may take an outdoor antenna.
It has been many years since there were any DXers reporting from the 49th state.
