[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 12-12 (Japanese Revival)

After finishing more late night antenna work at 1200 a check of the band was made, and the Japanese big guns certainly seemed to have come out of hibernation. 594, 693, 747, 774, 828 and 1134 all were managing healthy audio in and out, while most of the other Asians (especially on the high band) seemed to be comatose. 594-JOAK was the best of the bunch, hitting good peaks in and out from 1200-1300 with fast-paced Japanese group conversation. The only non-Japanese to show up during the early morning hour were a presumed 738-BEL2 (weakÂChinese in KCBS splatter) a poor-level 972-HLCA and the 1053-Jammer. The usualÂhigh band regulars on 1566, 1575 and 1593 weren't even managing a carrier at the time.ÂThe chance to finally hear some energetic TP's this month was worth the temporary loss of sleep, especially since these AsiansÂhave a recent habit ofÂsinking back down into the noise well prior to sunrise.ÂÂ
