[IRCA] TP 26 Nov Victoria version
Things were in disarray this morning after my return from points near
the water, so really only threw something together after 1500UT....
to a general lack of signals. About 1530UT, a brief erratic high
band opening occurred, so erratic, that there might be something for
10 seconds on some frequency on the recording, and I would never find
it. By 1545UT, the slight uptick was over, and in fact, mostly over
by 1533UT except for CNR1-1593.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1593 CNR1 mostly man in Chinese, quite strong one moment, nothing
there the next, 1529 to 1539UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1566 HLAZ 1531-2UT, female vocal music, woman in Chinese which
quickly faded down
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1296 man talking, just traces, 1529UT
1314 slow orchestral music briefly 1530UT
1422 man talking 1531UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1575
best wishes,
Nick
